He couldn't Pump not because inverter could not handle it, But his Battery technology cannot.
I have a 3.5KW inverter and can Pump flawless with 24V 200AH lithium ion phosphate batteries, equivalent to his 2 tubular batteries, But has more energy Density and higher Current Deliver up to 1C..

Lithium batteries have changed the game in renewable energy.. a small 12V 200AH can power Iron because the batteries can deliver up to 1200w continuous without stress.

Also I have been using mine for 3 years plus with little degration.
Impressive!

Oga at a point its about what you deserve not so much about the value for money. If you have the money spend it on your life’s comfort unless those wey no know how hard you worked will get to squander am.

If you are making financial/commercial decisions then value for money comes to play.

For Nigeria if you know how liberating being able to go off grid is eh you go see yourself dancing without music when you go by those long queues at petrol stations.

Stop misleading people.. 3M will get you 14.4KWH real capacity now...

Lithium Price has fallen in china drastically.. making it affordable for home storage, China has mass produce them its soo affordable, just stay informed.

Below is a Lithium set up under 1.3M

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/xRVwyt3fXkw

There is no misleading as you put it. If you can get one at the price you mentioned, go for it and be happy. There are some no names that are below 3mil sef.

Just assume the inverter is your generator set. Do you think 3.5 kva generator can power a pumping machine or electric iron conveniently.
You may need to increase the solar panel and inverter capacity to do so.
Your 1200 watt panels won't charge 4 batteries efficiently. It would still be at the same level of the 2 batteries or 3 batteries distributed in 4 batteries. I use similar set up as yours but 2080 watts panels. It's really the panels that supply the main power and the higher the capacity, the more the capacity of the inverter at the appropriate kva.

I pump water with my own inverter.

It is a 3.5

I also use it to iron.

I have not done both at the same time.

I even use it to run a 2200 watt photocopier and printer.

And to run a electric oven.

I do this mostly during sunlight hours.

If you want a longer runtime add more batteries.

Otherwise you will reduce or economize usage from 4pm when the sun goes down, if you want to be totally off grid or you can supplement with a few hours of utility charging if you still want to run all your loads till morning.

Planning on upgrades soon

Yes sir. With low watt appliances, it takes it to morning but as battery gets weaker, it goes off or gets too low but a few hours of electricity at night makes it last longer.
I don't believe the savings would be 20 to 30% in electricity bills. More like 70 to 80% because most of the laundry and pumping etc would be done during the day according to the earlier poster. Only few hours of electricity at night is sufficient to boost it.
From the poster above, lithium battery is still the best even though it's very expensive.

I plan 2 upgrades in the short term and one in the long term.

From AGM to lithium batteries. That means I can deplete below 50%.

The second upgrade is overpanelling. So that as at 6pm or thereabouts when the sun disappears, I will still have full batteries.

Finally, I will get more solar panels and a higher capacity inverter and batteries so that any load including ACs and water pumps and cookers can be used be it day or night and also should there be bad weather, I will still have 7 days of autonomy (days I can last even if the sun is not able to regenerate my batteries) left.

But this will be very expensive so that is why is a long term and not an immediate upgrade.

At the current rate of utility power, it doesn't make sense not to have solar power.

You will recover the expenses even sooner especially if you run high wattage appliances and you don't try to cheat the system.

Very true sir. It would be very costly but would pay off on the long run.

Good day house, it's been a while I updated the thread. smiley

We have been handling series of projects in the southwest, it would soon be made public.

Has anyone ever thought of why you would spend so much to drill a well, and still spend on purified water?
We are fixing that up in some Axis already, cheesy
Where you can now conveniently, drink from your tap at all levels, be it dinning ,kitchen and restroom, and not worry about buying dispensaries water (dispenser, bottle, sachets) anymore.

Our first running, encountered few challenges (such as how to channel waste of filtered waters to run through piping of toiletries other than disposing it off, this was difficult, because most piping of houses are run directly to fetch from single source.

We corrected that in subsequent installations, of ongoing project by redirecting the water from filtered water to a separate storage and channeled to run off at toiletries only.

We currently have 5 locations, benefiting from this system, including a mini estate; consisting of various units of 2-3 Bedrooms.

And all installations comes with 5 years servicing and maintenance warranty; optional though, the system can run for up to 3 years with needing any major fixes or changes other than filter maintenance which are relatively low cost smiley.

We would be happy to sharing and taking up Installations on while residential scales soon.
