SmooshCHN: Lol. Draymond is such a feisty personality that the Warriors have learnt to live with. But you can't underestimate his value on the court. He is immense. And to some extent, he was right that you guys didn't need KD. After all, you won before he came and after he left. And he hasn't won anything since leaving. 2 Likes 1 Share |

larride: Very stupid trade, first round pick for that matter in 2030 when the warriors will likely be poor. It was clear that Mike Dunleavy jr got that GM job based on nepotism and many people in the NBA felt that way when he got the job. A team that appeared old, short and unathletic. Then you sequester 30 million per year for a Chris Paul into your cap. They couldn't salary dump poole and picks for an average center or forward which would have improved the warriors greatly. 1 Like 1 Share |

Interesting bunch of moves by the Clippers. Offloading Westbrook, let PG walk and have added Kevin Porter Jr and Derrick Jones Jr Even Harden's 2year deal is a player option on the second year. I think this is a lot smarter than maxing out on Paul George. I have never understood GMs who overpay players you know well and good are tried and tested failures especially when you are trying to win a chip. Good on the clips that they were not delulu 3 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:55pm On Jul 01 |
Ohh and lots of overreacting to KCP leaving for the Magic. I have to credit the Nuggets GM here. Paying KCP $22m would have been stupid A nigga on the veteran minimum could match KCP 8ppg and 39% FG. Good luck to him 3 Likes 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:42pm On Jul 01 |
A40: They stopped their delulu finally . Considering they gave up Shai and like 5 1st round draft picks for PG3, Im glad they were humble enough to walk away instead of throwing good money after bad. PG3 can be an effective complement to a playoff tem in the east. West is the jungle right now 1 Like 1 Share |

Klay to the Mavericks Picking up Naji Marshall, Grimes and offloading THJ, Josh Green Pretty shrewd dealing by Nico Harrison now if they can just find who to finesse to offload Kleber |
Re: The NBA Begins by Killrhymz01: 7:50pm On Jul 01 |
A40:I knew he would be joining the Mavs |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 10:05pm On Jul 01 |
The biggest winner in the free agency is Isaiah Harteinstein. How bro cajoled the Thunder into paying him $29m a year needs to be studied |

Re: The NBA Begins by larride(m): 2:09am On Jul 02 |
A40: I was surprised Orlando offered him that much tbh. $22m a year. Damn, these basketball boys really hold the bag. |

Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 8:54pm On Jul 02 |
larride: KCP for 22 mil is honestly not an overpay, he shoots 40% from 3s and he his not streaky. Also he was 4th in the whole nba in minutes guarding the oppositions best perimeter scorer, behind DJJ, Lu Dort and OG Anunoby. Looking at the contracts of these four guys the fact is, his contract is the best value for money. |
Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 11:17pm On Jul 02 |

Kyle Anderson, Buddy Hield The Warriors are scraping the barrel right now |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:05pm On Jul 03 |
Why is JJ Redick lying on National TV. LeBron has already given people material to cook his boy by claiming he's already better than some players in the league last year Now JJ is also claiming Bronny's spot was earned. Are these people insane? Why are these guys setting this boy for drags just for their selfish ambition Now I see why Dan Hurley turned down the job and Klay didn't want to go there, it wasn't about the money, no self respecting person wants to be a part of that farce 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 7:27pm On Jul 03 |
A40: Dan Hurley saw the nonsense the Lakers were planning and figured he won’t be a part of it. While the talk about Hurley’s wife not wanting the move has substance, I believe Hurley himself did not buy into the plans of the Lakers and it made his decision easy. They are not ready and that’s the truth. You waste a pick on a kid that wasn’t even a starter to a horrible USC team. He made 25 tots appearance with 6 starts. He easily could have gone undrafted if the Lakers did not pick him and they can sign him as a free agent. People are not going to be kind when this fails because they have missed a great opportunity to change the direction of their franchise. As a Celtic, I am all for it because the Lakers are no match for me if it comes down to it, now or in the future when I look at roster construction. Watch JJ continue to build the roster and offense around Ajala instead of AD. I love it though.. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Roland17 didnt your boys just win a ring. Yet you back in bed with a40, hating on greatness. We see yall! I dont like the position they have put bronny in. This kind of exposure is not good, especially without the skills to back it up |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 9:15pm On Jul 03 |
birdman:Lol. No one would be dropping hot takes if the boy could play. That totally waters down the achievement Why anyone thinks he shouldn't be scrutinized is insane. This happened with Austin and Doc Rivers and they were frequently cooked. So why does the Bronsexual cult think this would be an exception, and worse still Austin was a star in college and a lottery pick in the draft Either way l hope he winds up a decent player cos if he bombs he is going to be comedy skit material for all his adult life 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 12:28am On Jul 04 |
Roland17:Imagine a job where the team picks your assistants. Meaning you can't even fail or succeed on your own terms You have a generational talent with a beta personality and an aged star that thinks he can do your job and oh he just happens to want his son who can't really play on the team but note in the midst of all the chaos you're still expected to win the title now What self respecting coach is going to sign up for that gig? It's not the fact that it's a second round pick, nobody would bat an eyelid if they actually thought he was good Look Lakers are cooked Bronny or no Bronny anyway. JJ or likely AD as usual is going to get the blame after another season of huge embarrassing failure 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by Roland17(m): 4:33am On Jul 04 |
birdman: LMAO! A40 na my guy. Can you picture the Lakers locker room when the season starts? How do you think the other players would react with Bronny in there? Will they accept he earned his spot? Bronny has a long tough road. 1 Like 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:06am On Jul 04 |
Veteran NBA coaches Nate McMillan and Scott Brooks to become the top assistants to JJ Reddick. Damn, no "self respecting" person really wants to be associated with the Lakers. |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 11:12am On Jul 04 |
birdman: If we no talk about LeBron, how this thread wan take dey lively? And to your second point, Bronny certainly has the skills to back it up. There were teams who were going to take him higher than 55 if the Lakers and Rich Paul didn't pull some strings. When you have a chance to make history, you take it. And people thinks it's only LeBron who's making history here. Bronny is also making history. So as much as LeBron wanted this to happen, I think Bronny also wanted it. 1 Like |
Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 3:15pm On Jul 04 |
Gullible Bronsexual actually believes other teams wanted to draft Bronny cos Rich Paul said so. Who? I just want to know. Do they hypnotize you people in that cult? Veteran NBA coaches nobody was checking for else they wouldn't be assisting someone who has not coached even u-10 boys and girls. Of course nothing wrong with the B-team filling in when the A-team reject the job But there's a reason Lakers fans and Bronsexuals cry on Obasanjo's internet everyday 2 Likes 1 Share |
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 6:20pm On Jul 04 |
What was Bronny's stats in college again? Over 96% of the folks drafted above him averaged over 10%. I can only count two folks that did not, and they averaged 9.0+ points the previous year. Bronny averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game. Are you not ashamed of yourself? steady986: 2 Likes 1 Share |

Omo, Golden state are quietly building a formidable team o. Melton, Hield and Kyle Anderson added already. These guys are seasoned rotation players. Steph Hield Kuminga Draymond TJD Moody GP2 Melton Anderson Wiggins Podzeimski Looney That's a solid team |
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 8:49pm On Jul 04 |
benji93: This guy was drafted at 23. He averaged these numbers in freaking Australia.
|
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 11:00pm On Jul 04 |
steady986: The Bronny thing is just overblown, so all of a sudden we care about 2nd round picks. I know it is nepotism, but are we seriously acting as if the world does not run on nepotism. Since I've started following other American sports, I've got to hear on and on about betting on pedigree, when it comes to taking a flyer on drafting players, but it seems that doesn't apply to LeBron. Bronny might never be good, but the people who know him talk about his work ethic and that his style of play projecting out to be a smaller PoA defender who can shoot in the 33% from 3. If he can be that in this era of basketball that is at least a 10year career. 2 Likes |
Re: The NBA Begins by benji93: 4:03pm On Jul 05 |
Now this is good. Good counter. That's how it's done. However, this man averaged 2.8 points per game in 7.9 minutes. Not comparable at all. I would ignore that too. Your guy averaged 4.8 points despite averaging almost 20 minutes. steady986: 2 Likes 1 Share |
