The strength of a house is in its foundation, beams and pillars.

Blocks are merely cosmetic.

DIVINEEVIDENCE:

The strength of a house is in its foundation, beams and pillars.

Blocks are merely cosmetic.

DIVINEEVIDENCE blocks are called dead load in structural design which is calculated by the structural engineer when designing the sizes of rods for reinforcement. You may call it cosmetics, but their solidity matters because they also hold the building together.

And so you can imagine the load those beams, pillars and foundations were carrying in the 80s to make them stand. The reinforcement then were designed to guarantee safety. Nothing like managing and using substandard materials.

THE POINT IS, IF THE QUALITY OF BLOCKS OF TODAY CAN'T MATCH UP WITH YESTERYEARS. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT ABOUT THE PILLARS, BEAMS AND FOUNDATION BEING CONSTRUCTED TODAY.?
