I need some advice from medical persons on a possible exposure to HIV.

What is the probability of contracting HIV infection after protected sex with condom and washing of the genitals with soap and water.
So the story..
I had a one off sex with a lady on May 4th 2024 with condom. No oral,no kissing. After ejaculation,I removed the condom carefully,their was no condom tear/bust and went to the bathroom to wash off with soap and water ( i did not wipe off with tissue before washing off). So on 28th morning,I woke up with vomiting,diarrhea and localized abdominal pain on my lower left. Had a very mild fever the next day and I was treated for malaria and I recovered,though abdominal pain persisted for a while. I tested for HIV at 30 days post exposure and it came back negative.On 18th June 2024,the abdominal pain returned with diarrhea,lower back burning sensation and low grade fever the next day. I carried out culture test And Ulcer test, some bacteria was found and ulcer was positive. I was treated for ulcer and the abdominal pain stopped.

So my fear:
1.Can ulcer alone cause the symptoms described above?
2. Are their other possible STI/UTI test I need to carryout?
3. Is it possible that while washing off,the reminant of vaginal fluid on the pubic area can wash down to the tip of the penis and hence cause infection ( note I did not wipe off with tissue before washing off,meaning i might still have sperm at the tip)?
3. Can HIV transmit this way?
4. What are my chances that my 4 weeks negative test will not change after 3 months?

From wide search,I learnt that HIV 2 which is predominant in west Africa is a bit harder to transmit.

I'm still experiencing intermittent abdominal pain,burning sensation.

I will start by saying ulcer can make you have all the listed symptoms you mentioned and more, ulcer is wicked. There is no means of getting infected if you practice Safe sex, which I believe you did from your story. Repeat the test after 3months or you can go for a PCR test it detects the virus even at window period.

Reminds me of the trauma I just recovered from

A female friend I met on Facebook came to visit me but almost died in my house. It wasn't a funny experience.

So I have been friends this babe online for about 6yrs now. We've been talking on phone very well. This year she needed a job as things have been bad so she reached out to me about looking for a job and I began the search for her.

She got an interview invite close to my side but she lives very far and asked if she could stay over at my place so she can arrive early at the interview venue.

I told my fiancee about it and she approved and asked me to allow her to come around.

She came around on Sunday evening, it was the first time we were meeting after over 6yrs of talking on phone. When she came we gisted and even had to call my fiancee on video call for them to greet.

I am someone who usually sleeps very early so at about 9pm I retired to my room to sleep and left her at the parlour where she was watching a movie by dawn she went for the interview and returned back with high fever and shivering.

I thought it was something mild so I got her paracetamol to drink which she did and slept off. She was too weak to go home and time was already gone so she spent a second night at my place and that was when my nightmare began.

All through the night she was stooling, vomitting with very high fever.

I was so confused, she looked so weak and Fragile, her eyes turning white. I became scared because she was looking weak. There I realized that I didn't know this person. A stranger in my house what if anything happens? I will be in a deep mess and social media will tag me a ritualist that lured a friend from Facebook to kill.

Thoughts filled my heard. I know one cause of casualty for someone with severe diarrhea and vomiting is loss of bodily fluid so I quickly gave her oral drip (salt and water) to replenish lost body fluids.

She kept drinking and vomitting, it was midnight I couldn't raise alarm and besides it's a compound I recently moved in.

It was morning and she was still very sick. Let's goto the hospital she refused, let me call a nurse she refused.

The stooling and vomiting only became intense, I suspected it was cholera and quickly rushed to a pharmacist to explain her symptoms. She gave me a pack of oral drips, some antibiotics and some drugs which I brought to her.

She refused to still take the drugs. I had to find eba and wrapped the drugs inside then fed her myself which was a struggle.

On day 5 she gained small strength and was strong enough to leave.

She left the house and I was relieved.

What would I have said if it went beyond that?

My fiancee where she is was already panicking because we didn't know this person except from Facebook.

I learnt a lesson and will never allow a stranger into my house again.

You see that thing called ulcer, it's more deadly than you think. Don't underestimate it.
It can make you pass out. You can be in hospital bed for days because of ulcer.
Forget about the hospital treated you for ulcer, nothing like that. Medically, I've not seen a permanent cure. You can only manage it and avoid food that will trigger it. Those pains you're experiencing can be caused by ulcer. It can do a whole lot to your body system.

What about scenarios where one spouse will be HIV posotive and be sleeping with other spouse without any form of protection, yet that one will test negative to HIV.

Then some, just minor cut or through clippers and bo0m, they have HIV.

Don't worry too much.. total abstinence till marriage is however advisable.

But my concern was the possibility of reminant of vaginal fluid on my pubic area dripping down to the tip of my penis while washing off with water and their is possibility of present of sperm on the tip. Ulcer symptoms alone could be confusing at times. You'd think you have malaria meanwhile it's ulcer. Peptic ulcer is the most painful and disturbing. It could hold your upper back bone like its breaking off. When you drink cold water, you'd feel like vomiting. The abdominal ulcer hurts same way but the activities are limited to the abdomen. You don't even like yourself. You're an uncer patient, you didn't treat it and you went and slept with a woman? Stress is one of the triggers. Having sex entails use of the entire body strength. You could break down thereafter, as an uncer patient, depending on the stage.

That said, nobody here would he able to tell if you're hiv positive or negative. Only the lab result will tell so, why not go back to that lab and get tested once again, to be sure? I'm not sure it's hiv you contracted though.

While you're pulling off the latex, there's a remnant of the fluid following it, up to the tip of your genital. Once it has its way, it's as good as having unprotected sex. Before you pull it off, did you first lift it and clean the public side with tissue? Then did you wash that side very quickly before your genital got weak and then carefully remove it thereafter? If you have a cut in-between your public hair, maybe due to recent shaving, the fluid can penetrative through.
