Yet time again you have defended the Federal Governments abuse of power on this platform? It's laughable how you try to twist the narrative to suit your shallow understanding of governance and justice. Your blatant hypocrisy is showing.

You condone a governor's dictatorial behavior yet condemn a federal court's correction. What kind of twisted logic is that? You can’t cherry-pick justice to fit your biases.

The deputy governor exercised his constitutional rights and faced retaliation from a power-hungry governor. Yet, here you are, defending such tyranny while trying to make some convoluted point. It’s clear you don’t understand the principles of democracy and justice.

Your reasoning is as flawed as your ability to hold a consistent argument. Instead of justifying injustices, why not try understanding the bigger picture? Dictatorship at any level is unacceptable, and your blind allegiance only highlights your ignorance. If you truly cared about justice, you wouldn’t be defending the indefensible.

It seems your conscience is not at peace. There is no defense of anything in my post, but a celebration of justice beyond the powers of a dictator Governor.

Like all sensible Nigerians, celebrate the protection of our democracy by the Judiciary, and stop cherry picking what judgement is good or bad.

The court has ruled and the dictator Governor can choose to appeal, but he will learn that there is no state court available to do his bidding.

Exactly what the dictator Governor did to his deputy just because he chose to exercise his constitutional right of franchise.

We are indeed funny to condone the dictatorship of a Governor, while condemning the correction effected by a federal court.

Was the impeachment done by the governor or house of assembly? The lawful process was followed.

You're a very foolish person
Justice Omotosho gave the same judgement reinstating Asue Ighodalo as Pdp candidate and also gave this, but you are calling this a Kangaroo judgement.

I don't know the dustbin where PDP use to gather these illiterates from.

I wonder on what ground you call someone foolish.
On what constitutional ground can a sitting Deputy governor be impeached?
Who's responsibility is it to sack the Deputy governor, by what procedure?
What are the causes of the disagreements between Shuaibu and Obaseki?

My friend the cute baby lion you guys are taking in today will eventually become the monster that will consume you. Mark these words

Your attempt to cloak your bias in the guise of celebrating justice is transparent. Celebrating justice should not be selective—it should be about upholding the rule of law and ensuring fairness for all, regardless of political affiliations.

It's clear you have an axe to grind against this governor, but your celebration of the judiciary's ruling is overshadowed by your own prejudices. Justice should not be about settling personal scores or demonizing political opponents; it should be about ensuring that everyone, including governors, respects the constitution and the rights of all citizens.

If you truly believe in protecting democracy, then stop cherry-picking judgments to suit your agenda. Respect for the judiciary means accepting rulings, even if they don’t align with your preferences. Your reference to a "dictator Governor" undermines the judicial process and shows a lack of respect for due process and the separation of powers.

Instead of gloating over perceived victories, why not advocate for a Nigeria where justice is blind and everyone is treated fairly under the law? That’s the true essence of democracy and justice.

Impeachment is a political matter anyway. A governor or his deputy can only be impeached on allegation of gross misconduct.

Now, S188 (11) of the constitution actually gives the state house of assembly the discretion to determine what can amount to gross misconduct. The provision itself only gives a sketchy definition of gross misconduct.

"In this section - “gross misconduct” means a grave violation or breach of the provisions of this Constitution or a misconduct of such nature as amounts in the opinion in the House of Assembly to gross misconduct."

Ideally, anything can be deemed to be his offense as per this provision.

The ouster clause on the court's jurisdiction on impeachment matters extends to the nature of the the allegations. It's not the court's business to ascertain the merit of the allegations.

Even in the said Inakoju's case, one of the instances cited by the court which can amount to gross misconduct is changing of political parties (defection).

So if defection, as politically contentious as it is, can amount to gross misconduct in the opinion of the house, why can't ordinary aspiration of a deputy governor to contest for the governorship under the same party be counted as same?

I feel this decision was given per incuriam and will be upturned on appeal.

Like I said, there is so much turmoil in your heart.

It's amusing how you try to deflect by suggesting there’s turmoil in my heart when it’s clearly you who is desperately clinging to half-baked narratives. You paint yourself as a champion of justice while conveniently ignoring your own biases and selective outrage.

Your hollow assertions and misplaced confidence are laughable. You fail to see that your hypocrisy is as transparent as your weak attempts at moral grandstanding. Instead of addressing real issues, you resort to cheap tactics and baseless accusations.

Your so-called celebration of justice rings hollow when it’s clear you’re only interested in settling personal scores. If you had any genuine respect for the judiciary and democracy, you’d drop the hypocritical act and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Until you can rise above your petty vendettas and embrace a more balanced view, your words will remain as empty as your arguments. Your bias against Peter Obi and the support of the continuous detention of Kanu despite being grated bail are evident to your true biases. undecided

Where did you see your bolded in the story? I have read through and the court judgement was based on process outlined in section 188. Read again pls.
