Nice idea but not everyone can be a trader. The best source of employment for the poor is farming with the govt encouraging production by buying wholesale from farmers at set prices with quality metrics and selling through commodity marketing boards to processors or directly through outlets. This will reduce rural to urban migration and encourage development to be spread out.

Umunne m, I'm going through alot in this nairaland, just over Anioma state creation.

If u notice, the post i made earlier have again been taken down.

I dont know y Yoruba are so concerned over Anioma State to this extent.

Both them and the Bini are no longer sleeping.

We call the ijaw land grabbers for claiming other tribes and growing.

Yet we dont realise the delibrate attempt to shrink Ndigbo by size to a dot in a middle.

They have constantly told the Anioma they are not Igbo because Bini want to expand.

They went as far as sending the Olukumi set up Kingdom in Oshimili, smililar to the one in Benin or IdU.

We neeed to be very careful of the yorubas, they are diabolical. Yes Bini is Yoruba.

Anioma state is a liberator and it will solidify them as Igbo. Biko those our brothers close to the Gov and Orumba reps should shoot down that Etiti proposal. I have been calling for this because I'm following events.

Just tell them to remove Orumba from Etiti.

Dalu!

See as person dey give himself high blood pressure over nothing. What happens on Nairaland has zero effect in Nigeria. In fact, Twitter/X is a much better platform to promote anything you want to promote. And then again, you seem to be more concerned about this Anioma state than even the Anioma people. Well, na you know sha. Just try to avoid high blood pressure over worrying over other people's issues.

Just look at the historically illiterate, ignorant nonsense an adult is typing. And some of you wonder why many Igboid groups in the Niger Delta absolutely despise Igbos.

I dont have time for stupid or confused people.

The only people I have time for are Igbo people that know what time of day it is.

Nobody will pay me to sit down and argue with you.

If i see anything that requires sharing wih my people, I do so, as they too share info and updates here.

I never mentioned Igboid in the thread u quoted, if u have low self esteem, that is your problem.

People with low self esteem talk about people like or dont like u.

Again the thread you quoted did not discuss this.

One loss too many. Ife mele anyi but I take solace in the fact that Ifeanyi Ubah fulfilled his potential/ God's given assignment on earth.

At this point; I can only say to myself... It does not matter how long but how well. Ubah really inspired greatness.

Update from the Nnamdi Azikiwe university teaching hospital Nnewi Anambra state

Beautiful place.
They are building a sculpture garden.
They are also building a stadium inside the place.
I heard there will be a helipad for air lifting bad medical emergency cases too.
There is space for a lot of facilities in there.
It will really be a medical tourism hub.

Ibeto is not serious.
It's time igbos form their economic cabana like Northern oligarchy and start investing all this heavy industries in the east. We need heavy industries like cement plant, steel plant, heavy commercialized Agriculture in the east. We need to start depending on other regions for our finished goods and services. Our elites needs together and start working together on things like this

.

Do you know the chicason group has mining license for cement production yet they are yet to start something almost 10 years now. So the truth is that majority of those making noise about monopoly are not interested in manufacturing but want quick money and no stress. 10 people with 100m usd you will get 6 million MTTPA .

I understand a sculpture garden will improve the aesthetics of the hospital's environment.
A helipad is also a huge plus so patients can be airlifted from accident sites to the hospital.
What I don't understand is the stadium. What is the benefit of having a studium in a teaching hospital? The money for that stadium should be used to increase the number of Ambulance in the hospital or purchase 2 fire fighting trucks and build a mini fire station within the hospital.

@bolded, when last did the Igbo elites come together to achieve something for the benefit of the region? They only come together for their usual lip service South East Governors Meeting. Where is the plan for the Eastern Rail network they mentioned few years back? Where are the industrial zones they promised to build in each SE state? Where is the so-called Ebube Agu security outfit they launched few years ago?

It is a fitness Arena that contains a stadium. It is very necessary. Quality healthcare includes lifestyle modification and exercise which is the essence of the sports facility. It may not be for just patients and their caregivers but also for the staff and students who will eventually mostly reside inside the medical city. So they won't need to go inside town to assess those facility.
The place should even contain staff quarters, hostels for students, mini marts, lodging facilities and banking facilities, churches, mosque etc. So a stadium/fitness Arena is not out of place. Remember it is a University Teaching Hospital. So having everything right inside there is not out of place.
