[quote author=Efna55 post=131255083]Should have boki be the minister

That was what i was surprised at until someone said he's not from the north but Edo state.

I was even wondering, of all the names in the NigerDellta he didn't see any name but Abubakar Momoh to be minister of nigerdelta! undecided

Someone that is even unknown with no antecedent to show his direction to governance!

Bow, he's talking trash that NigerDelltan states shouldn't participate in the strike because of electification of some locality in okitipupa and what not in Nembe! undecided

A very useless minister. grin

No surprises here then! ‘We Niger-Deltans’ are amongst the most gullible, docile, daft and self-serving individuals ever to walk this earth! Of course they wouldn’t see anything to protest about!

We should ask you if you're after a better country by castigating one side for another.
Your APC leaders have come out to say all the anti-subsidyv removal protests were just politics not a fight for a better country. Has that stopped you from supporting them? They have even removed subsidy on their first day in office.
Hypocrisy pro max

Lolz, you are the one clearly castigating APC (one side) here. i have commended both and spoken against both when necessary. i support my country, not a political party.

Huh
I’m really tired of you lots for God’s sake, Nigerians are hungry and starving to death buh because you supported Tinubu during the last election 🗳, even though I know you’re also affected by all his wrong policies, you keep defending him and cursing on those who supported obi. What is the best way to silence the opposition and even win them over if it isn’t proving he is a better candidate with people friendly policies. We’re hungry, very hungry, what we earn can barely feed us not to talk of feeding others around us. As a hardworking guy earning around 100k, one can even have savings cuz it can barely feed one for 30days and you’re busy cursing on Obiand his supporters, whether the protest holds or not, a day shall come if this govt continues on this trajectory even you too will speak up and support a bigger demonstration. Typing this with pain in me

Tinubu is not the cause of your hunger and death, do you know ANYONE who has died of hunger? Capital NO. Is there inflation? YES. Inflation increased because of removal of subsidy, flotation of the currency and greed of the people (sellers). All notable presidential candidates and economists wanted removal of subsidy and flotation, so it's not a Tinubu thing. It would happen under any leader, party or tribe. They are not wrong policies but late policies. Previous governments should have done it long time ago.
The policy has recorded gains like increase in foreign reserves, reduction of ways and means debt from 27trillion naira to 16 trillion naira, clearing of forex backlog payment of $7billion, reduction of debt to revenue ratio, increase in allocations given to states and local governments by almost double, and many more. These are all good economic mile stones that if given time will yield dividends for the whole nation.
i have not cursed out on anyone, you are free to point my attention to such instead of lying on me. Your anger and trajectory and breakdown of law and order will not make things better. It will instead destroy innocent businesses, increase the already increased inflation, slowdown or even erode progress already made, and lead to needless loss of lives. Don't burn down your future because of hunger, don't be an Esau.

[quote author=udeh3 post=131255088]You keep hearing projects in the Niger Delta... Most of them are lies. Many of these projects are awarded to cronies and allies of the corrupt government in the region. Akpabio, James Ibori and many of the corrupt leaders in the region are now in one party

The government should tell us how many Niger Delta youth have been employed in NNPC. How many trainings have they facilitated and the youth they've empowered. Publish their names

The East West road, which is the major road in Niger Delta can't be piled. It's a dead trap

Or do they mean, awarding contracts to their friends and thugs are the achievements? Let the statistics be released, showing us true empowerment in the region.

I will continue saying it. The Northerners both literates and illiterates are everywhere in the force, how many Niger Deltan youth is employed by these oil companies in the Niger Deltan? How many seaports has the government allowed to work as that of Apapa in Lagos? Ah Izon... Truths

Give an example of you commending Obi
You're blaming Obi for a protest that is being carried out mostly in the North and whose convener is Sowore. And you say you support your country.
Does the cost of living not call for a protest?

Like seriously you’re giving me all these fx reserve ish?🙄 no single economic policy of this administration has been people friendly, a common man on the street only understands good govt with his purchasing power, you better accept the fact that this administration is busy implementing policies thst will need the people to endure while the keep enriching theirselves, this is the very worst 1st year in office of any elected president in since county since the return of democracy since 1999

Here's the trail of discussion. You talked about APC in 2012 to 2015 to which i have replied that both parties/government have gotten my commendation and dissatisfaction. PDP were last in power in 2015, that's a long way for me to start giving you examples for. The point remains that you should not blame APC for your behavior, claiming that they did it also in 2012 to 2015.
Protests do not solve high cost of living. What is inevitable from protests like this is vandalism, looting and setbacks, hopefully not by years.

The so called FX ish is foundational, ask any competent economist. Tinubu is a great and selfless politician who fancies that he can still make the tough decisions that others shied away from, and win over the people. As it is, this is the hardest phase and by 3rd year the fruits would be clear and lasting for the majority to see.

Open his ears to what exactly? This is about the most listening president we've had in decades. Telling him to do magic is different from making reasonable demands. Mention your demands that you believe he closed his ears to.

Obi lamba followers that instigated these protests have openly denied association with it, hoping it succeeds. Like their masters (Obi and Oby) trade in stock, they take no responsibilities. If it fails, they'll mock the protests. If it succeeds, they'll hail it. Any which way, the government gets the stick. They'll rather that the protests and bad situations get worse than that government succeeds. i don't know the witchcraft that is more than this.
Wetin concern Igbo people with protest? Na them plan the protest?

Una start protest, come still blame Igbo people join.

Your head correct so?

Peaceful protests like endsars. You got away with endsars, so you want part 2.

These people are so rattled over a planned peaceful protest

They have deployed all known intimidation tactics behind the scenes including using keypad warriors and agberos online to threaten violence
