Mine is since January, only got ADR in July for updated POF, till now no further update.
Bro can you please clarify.
After submitting my visitor Visa application, I got notified for biometric at vfs and booked online for next Monday.
Is that sufficient for biometrics or I should be expecting another call from vfs ?
I am traveliing from Akure so I need to be sure I am not missing anything out.

Thanks.

That is sufficient enough. Just go along with a copy of your biometric letter, copy of your international passport, copy of your appointment confirmation letter. That is all you need.

Did you applied for free or paid conference? If paid conference, did you pay before letter of invitation was been sent to you for VISA application?
. The conference is free . I didn't pay any money for letter of invitation. When you are attending a conference as a speaker most conference will waive fees for presenter

How is the conference connected to your profession, and what documents did you submit for your visa application? Many people have used conferences to japa, so IRCC is more careful about conference visa approvals. However, due to the date of the conference, you can apply for reconsideration. But most of the time, if you don't have a strong case, it is often not accepted. Another option is to apply for a GCMS note. Some of these conferences sometimes do not even have an IRCC conference code. Hopefully, you can reapply for the next conference.
You nailed . The connection between applicant's profession and conference is crucial for visa approval . Some conferences are not related

I received a refusal mail from ircc on the 27th of July. Submitted application:-27th of February 2024. Biometrics=8th of March 2024. Refused Visa:-28th of July 2024. Purpose of travel:-Conference which will hold on the 24thof this August. Can someone please advise me on what next to do. I was invited as a speaker and I submitted all the necessary documents too
Is the conference related to your profession ? What is your travel history and account balance ? These may help to elaborate what you should do

Hello brother, do you mean vfs called you ?
I just booked my own date online and that was it.

Are we supposed to get a call again from vfs apart from the booking that was done on their site online ?
exactly. we booked online so they sent these 3 dates: 7/8/9 so I'm thinking going there tomorrow but no time is attached. Can i go there at any official time and will i have to call them first?

Booking of appointments is very straightforward...you're beter off doing it and you can be in and out in under 20 minutes.

I only submitted consent letter the first time I did biometrics...if your biometrics are still valid no need for consent letter. Just come with two copies of your passport, your appointment letter, and your passport request letter.
Thank you! By 2 copies of passport, you mean passport photographs ?

Because I only have 1 copy of my international passport

Also, must I print the passport request in Coloured or they accept black and white

I’m 21 applying for tourist with no much money in my account but my uncle who I work for offers to deposit 5m into my account, my question is how do I show my work details and bank statements and how much POF if needed .. I can get an employment later and the other letters but me creating a pay slip now when there is no trace of salary been paid in my account won’t that be questionable cause most times he gives us cash . I really need help cause the last time I applied I used his bank statement and company documents and got denied now I want to re apply but I need to do it right . Please I Will appreciate any help and guidance possible

Good morning all

I want your help on how to upload my documents correctly.

1. The passport section- do I attach all my passport biodata pages together before uploading (I have visas on them all)

2. Invitation letter section: Should I attach all inviters documents with the letter before uploading? I.e ID, Employement letter , data page, etc

3. Proof of Financial section: Should I attached my statement of accounts, reference letters together with letter of explanation of my accounts? Or just my statement of accounts and reference letters?

4. Client section: Should all other documents like my employment documents, letter of explanation of my accounts, letter of explanations on my previous visa denials, property, marriage certificate etc be attached together and uploaded there?

Una thank you o🙏🏽

Traveling To Canada on a tourist visa needs serious explanations of the needs why going there and also highlights that the funds for the travelling are not a waste and also your family tier to your country. A VERY GOOD STATEMENT OF PURPOSE can do this for you

At this point, even if your uncle pays 5m into your account, it's a red flag because you still need to explain why the lump sum.

Seems your uncle wants to help, I will advise him to pay the money into your account as salary in 4 months because Canada only asks for 4 monthly statements of account and he should use the company account to do the transaction.

You Attach the company's employment letter, letter of leave and financial support letter from him.
You Will Use His Statement OF Account If Is More than The needed amount for your travelling and attach your statement of account for backup showing your monthly salary in 4 months.

You Can Start Looking For Your Home Ties, letting them know that you are coming back after your visit

21yrs old going far away Canada on tourist visa won't fly.
And even at that, sponsored trip 😏

Do you also applied for tourist visa in your first application?

It will be extremely difficult to convince Canadian VO to issue you a tourist visa in 2024 without extensive travel history.

I will advice you to abort mission and apply to a more immigration friendly country for your tour

I just applied for a visitor Visa too and will be doing biometrics next week.
I did it myself and paid 185cad but the interface I got was quite different from yours.

Infact I didn't have to fill any IMM form unlike what you have there.

Why was mine different ?
I am worried.

I appreciate your sincerity because this is the truth. Many people don't want to tell this young man that applying for a Canada visit visa at age 21, especially after a previous refusal with no family connection, no travel histiory and being sponsored on holiday is a risky gamble in 2024. It would be better for him to consider the education route in Canada or elsewhere, where he could be sponsored by the same uncle.
