I wonder the kind of people that are in charged of the leadership of PDP ? Sorry to say, they are so daft and gullible by giving structure to ex gov instead of the current and acting gov.

I read from another platform that this maneuvre is has 3 connotations .
1st to let Wike know that he's in Charge by completely obliterating anything, shadow or trace of political structure with Wikes imprint.
2ndly, to let Wike know that the people of Rivers state are fully behind him
3rdly, to let PDP know that they can negotiate with him directly about rivers state on equal terms without thinking they're doing him a favor and without the fear of anything left of Wike's influence in the state. It was insinuated that he's planning the decamping of all these local government structure to PDP as soon as coast is clear and deal is done....I fear that guy Fubara and whoever his political advisers are...
He must settle down to deliver to rivers people now and continue to build from this grassroots until he becomes a force to be reckoned with in National politics across parties

He just bleeped up, now he will have to decamp or lose advantage to someone else in APP.

If you look at it very well, Wike won, those governors and pdp elders backing him will be furious, and he will lose them.

Then wike will sponsor the court case that will make it impossible for the local government chairmen to function and with federal backing the money will still be withheld.

And by the time it 4 years, he will have himself one leg in APP and the other in PDP, his lose will be profound.

As it is now, wike might just be floating around at the mercy of Tinubu..he has no real political value in any party after this open market square stripping from rivers people and Fubara.
Remember, even within APC nobody can trust Wike after his antics in PDP and how he's plotted to bring down that whole party because of his personal ambitions.. I pity those his other governors friends...unless he may have to negotiate relevance with APC if he can convince, Oyo state governor and one more PDP governor to decamp to APC grin

The Senate must fast track the bill that will make a new federal agency be in charge of holding LG elections all over Nigeria

We are trying to decentralize Nigeria and u are trying to centralize it. What a joke. States should be independent in election, security, resources, economy, etc. Centralizing Nigeria all these years have done no good and will never do any good. States should build their institutions and anti graft agencies.
Just as u fear that governors can weaponize these agencies, that is also how FG weaponizes them. That is why u hear of such words like Federal might.
