Hello everyone. For those who invested in the November 2024 FGN Savings bond, has the first coupon been paid? It's due on 13/02/2025.

Same here o
Since they upgraded their system, it has been a mess.

The TB investment is no longer showing
However, I believe it's nothing to worry about.

I'm just waiting for the maturity date.

I see thank you

Well we in the same boat, but like others have noted, there shouldn't be any problem with your investment. Just understand the money was not loaned to GTB but to FG, and it's the latter that will repay. I just hope GT gets thier acts together.

Thank you. I actually thought I was the only one. My concern is why GTB hasn't officially come to address the issue. Don't they know customers would be anxious? And annoyingly when you send mail or call, they cant give any useful answer just that its been worked on. Well we keep our fingers crossed for the maturity dates

Everyone can invest

For those still procrastinating on investment because of the level of your income, note this:

Every income category can invest, it's only the amount that differs the rate is the same for a particular product.
You get as much as you put in.

Not yet ooo. I am mailing them this morning.

Na why all these investments managed by government people don begin fear me since late last year ooo. Coupon and matured bills are no longer paid as and when due. The CP that defaulted that day, I was immediately notified of the default by the Arranger and I was given a timeline of payment. Before it even get to the day they promised to pay, they already paid. The only issue I have with them is that there were 2 CP opening that I would have reinvested and the 2 closed before I got the money but then you get more communication and accountability.

Why are you expecting the rate to tank?
Based on the current inflation figure.
Inflation has dropped to 24.48 from 34.80 due to rebasing of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) - as released by National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). Expect sub 19% for 1yr TB.

Well said. In addition, exchange rate is now under the firm control of CBN. Only way Tbill rates go up is if the exchange rate goes haywire again.
