Kindly read your offer letter and the acceptance/rejection letter carefully. If you accept the offer, you are asked to fill the acceptance form, signed and send back with the telex copy of remittance of 500USD. Then you will be asked to pay the remaining balance of about 3400usd as written on your offer letter. Then you will be issued UNCONDITIONAL OFFER LETTER that use can use for your visa. But my earlier post advised you that instead of breaking the payment and incurring bank charges, if you have the full fees then kindly transfer the fees, fill the acceptance form and send me the telex copy of payment and filled acceptance form to me. I will follow up from there. I do hope is clear now!!! |

Demaejy: Thank you very much. Please what could be advantages for those students who are studying Tourism and hospitality management in term of work and earning in Turkey? Thanks. There are no minor or major advantages when students study the mentioned program in Turkey, i said earlier, Language is one major barrier one will likely face, wages can be low just maybe enough to survive.Students hv limited hours to work based on their residence status, some organization might required work permit to employ the applicants. Lots of tourists from different countries do visit Turkey on daily basis and the hotel owner or restaurant might as well employ staffs that are proficient in the major languages. My one and ONLY advise for anybody travelling as student to another country must have full fees, accommodation and standby sponsor to regularly pay his/her fees. Jobs not guarantee any where.....but that does not mean one cannot try or get one |

I will also recommend you read thoroughly the frequently asked questions by METU prospective students here: http://ncc.metu.edu.tr/prospective/20/frequently_asked_questions.html |

seyi852002: Hi wip7, can I apply to METU for my Msc (sustanable energy and renewable power), while I await the result of ur meeting with IGRS director? Yes you can apply to METU Msc program. The IGRS director at EMU also with your application now and she will give me answer on monday, the alternative at EMU is Msc BUSINESS ENGINEERING MANAGEMENT( conducted by WARWICK UNIVERSITY)as suggested by the deputy EMU rector based on your result. The Warwick Msc is 7900pounds and program last 1year. |
Re: North Cyprus by seyi852002: 8:04pm On Apr 13, 2013 |
Alright mr wip7, d warwick alternative is too expensive and I seem not to lik d course..I'll appreciate if u help me make my application to METU while I await the directors decision on monday |

Good day Mr Wip7. I'm sorry I'm dropping this here. A nairalander directed me to you so that you can advice me. I sent an e-mail to the turkish embassy for an appointment interview about six days ago. On realizing that the subject topic i used was wrong, and haven heared that whoever doesn't use the correct subject topic will not be invited for the interview,i sent another appointment request to them again ds morning. But just few minutes i read on the turkish site that whoever sends more than 1 request in a month will forfeit the chance of been called for an interview. Have i lost it? Pls advice me |

ojandis: Good day Mr Wip7. I'm sorri I'm dropping this here. A nairalander directed me to you. What is the purpose of your appointment? can i know the type of traveller you are? (student, business or tourist)...this answer you give will prompt another question from me to know how i can explain your situation. |

ojandis: Thanks so much for your reply. The purpose of my travelling is for sport. I'm a footballer. Oh no not another boy falling for the football scammers We tell so many but they never listen. So sad when they come back with "Somebody must help a brother" |
Re: North Cyprus by wip7: 8:06am On Apr 14, 2013 |
ojandis: Thanks so much for your reply. The purpose of my travelling is for sport. I'm a footballer. Okay, do you have all the necessary genuine documents and invitation papers? If yes, then don't bother yourself. After some verification the embassy will only respond to the correct email you sent to them with the correct SUBJECT MATTER, while the other one with wrong SUBJECT will be ignored. But i will advise you go to the embassy after one week if no reply to submit your application cos the embassy is not so busy now and would get busy starting from next month. Just pop out at their face at the center and drop your application. If you have a good traveling history and standard club inviting you then it's won't be a problem. Lastly are you traveling to Turkey or TRNC? |
Re: North Cyprus by ojandis: 11:24am On Apr 14, 2013 |
Thanks so much Mr Wip7. I'm travelling to Turkey. The initial e-mail i sent to the embassy had just "APPOINTMENT" as the subject matter while the second e-mail i sent had "APPOINMENT INTERVIEW" as the subject matter. |
