It is that we have taken an oath that we will not invest in our central midfield. Won't be surprised to see us shell a significant sum on another striker, even though we have gaping holes in central midfield.

Since 2008 we have not signed a single central midfielder, yet during the intervening period we have signed goalies, full backs, center backs, wingers, strikers, every position but central midfield.

that list is a tough one to rank i accept.i wont rily argue either way this is one of the best crops of young midfielders football has been blessed with BUT i think Gotze and Thiago are the best of the lot.
