I thought I have answered this before. The Holy condemns the worship of Images(we both have agreed that bowing does not necessarily means worship). Please go and read your bible well. Was this passage referring to the bible as a whole? Don't make assumptions John was referring specifically to what God has revealed to him which he wrote down in the book of revelation. You are wrong brother. Canaan was Christ's very first miracle as portrayed by the scriptures. You think its by chance that he performed that miracle on Mary's request even when he made it clear that his time had not yet come? Also Mary in that part was clearly showing to the people present her son who she knew was the saviour of men. That's why she said to the servants...."Do whatever he tells you". That's the same way she points Jesus to us today and tells us to "do whatever Jesus tells us".

Of course she does not need to point Christ to us just as Christ did not need to be baptised by John the baptist. We both know the significance of the baptism of Jesus to christianity as it is today. Now it is universally accepted that baptism is the pre-requisite to xtianity. Just ignore that fellow. The only thing he knows how to do is telling lies and using the scriptures as references to back it up.

I went to a catholic secondary school CKC to be precise, and I enjoyed every bit of my time there. I participated in morning mass as is a compulsory norm for all students be you catholic or muslim, so this only got me remembering all the arguments we usually had then which sometimes ended in beef, insults and sometimes exchange of fist, but the thing is that you can never make a perfect distinction on whether catholic pray to mary as a mediator or a mother who intercedes for her suppose erring children because there is always one or two scriptures to be quoted to back what ever anybody believes in. Which will you ask to be clarified on: is it the praying with rosary, praying to mary as we miss understand them or the respect accorded to images assumed to represent christ, mary and angels? You guys will agree with me that it will never end. So as christians no matter what faith we profess is to be steadfast in the things of God, obeying his commandments and loving our neighbours as we love ourselves and not questioning the pattern we go about it if not what happens in CKC when such arguments pops out will happen again o.
