There is also an upper trendline you may be ignoring. Also two pins rejecting the MA is a very telling sign that GU is bearish rather than bullish. Just my opinion.

here is a 4hrs timeframe version of the chart, i guess the upper line is the trendline you are refering to, but dont you think its short term and most likely the trendline from the larger time frame (base trendline) has the right of way. the pink, brown, and blue moving averages are 200,610 and 1220 respectively, a bounce from these large MAs from a higher timeframe of 4hrs would be more significant than bounce from 1hr.
But as usual the market knows what to do best. i am probably wrong so i take note of your analysis.

david cameron was suppose to be at the EZ meeting that was cancelled today to discuss the grexit incase of eventuality cos the slow pace of PM marathon meetings.....i think GBP is suffering for its proximity and close ties with EZ....

I m closely watching nzdcad, could buy if we come lower, maybe a lower low. but neutral on eurjpy. I dnt think its well placed for a swing trade, day traders will be able to tell better.
