no one is playing victim. We r just pointing out that since u guys keep shouting one nigeria, u guys should also carry everyone along. The writer of this article was expressing his/her thoughts. As for me I hope no igbo is appointed into any position in this dispensation so that those ones that r supposed to be at the forefront for d fight for biafra should wake up. Buhari please don't appoint the igbos, we don't need it and we'll never need it. Igbos are not dependent on any federal appointments. We want biafra and ur actions r making more igbos embrace biafra. Well spoken. I don't think much will change after all the President has said on live tv that he won't treat the various regions in the country fairly based on "rlectoral votes" which if truth be told is very undemocratic, myopic and callous. Just like the examples given in the write up of "true" democracies in the world. GMB and APC are further eroding the trust and belief that we can coexist as one country in peace.

I must however add that despite all said GMB is a man of intergrity and even though the SE might not get many political offices as many have pointed out that in GEN administration many appiontees where of southern extraction. This north south east west divide will eventually break Nigeria and lead us to ruin because a house divided among itself cannot stand.
it is the igbos that are always talking abt dividing this great country

i never heard of igbos crying for secession during GEJ's time but once they lost by going all out even more than GEJ's Ijaws, they started talking about Biafra. Confused sets!
You lied except you are a toddler. Clamouring for Secession has been there even during obasanjo tenure. Infact, invitation of massob to united nation and african union was during Gej's time. Biafra is not just a show but life to easterners.

And who cares?

GEJ appointed many of them selfish politicians during d last dispensation and no singular federal project was initiated or completed, but hey, we still survived and still waxing strong.
With or without the FG, we can still move on.

Of what need will it be to us (south-east) if GMB appoints all those selfish and greedy politicians without improving on the lives of the common man? Its worthless.

In as much as. Would like to see our people there, but hey, it makes no difference.

I doubt PMB will be transparent as he has said, and if he chose to be, run a transparent govt without shortchanging any region, we re good, its even better than federal appointments.

Dear Mr president, Nigerians are happy that you came on board to salve this country.

However, we are not happy that a section of Nigeria is being marginalized under your administration.

I dont think Igbos need to be marginalized because they gave you 5% vote during presidential election.

If not for any thing, have you forgotten that FATHER MBAKA staked his life for you to win.

You recently congratulated him on his 20 years anniversary of priesthood... that is great.

Sir, there is nothing more than this and I dont expect you to soon forget about this.

And this is even opportunity for Igbos to turn enmasse to APC and support your administration without looking back.

Sir, we hope to see changes in your future appointments.

Nigeria is your constituency and igbos are part of Nigeria.

I was amongst the few dt supported Buhari.. As an Igbo man I'd say we shot ourselves in the leg... An instance is in d senate there's no Igbo APC senator.. So we can even talk bout d sharing formula... We will keep being marginalized until we raise up and be one, not many self centered parts...

I am yoruba but so far I am very disappointed that this Govt is actively promoting ethnic marginalisation of Ndigbo. Igbo didn't vote for APC fine. A democratic Govt should by now make them see reason why they made a mistake by embracing them in his Govt. They said they want Biafra. You said no yet you are marginalising them in their own country. Obama made one of his opponent vice president and the other opponent became secretary of state. So far buhari has only be vindictive. Like it or not, he will divide nigeria faster than radio Biafra if he continues to play his arewa ethnic card.

Let me correct an international error made by the OP , Buhari has no contributions to the eventualities of the NASS , the leadership row was heavy and wih the Igbo having elected few APC representative effectively put them.out of the race; and if I check right the deputy senate president remains Ekwerumadu from the SE (the OP tried to swing that fact)

Buhari has made few appointments since he became president and baring the service chiefs who were borough screened for corruption most others are personal selections based on merit people who could be vouched for. The Igbo have made themselves enemies of Buhari, he has few trustworthy Igbo leaders to turn to , who can vouch for an Igbo son/daughter , A vast majority of Nigerians are corrupt and have cloudy pasts be they Yoruba, Hausa ,Igbo , Ibibio, efik ,etc when you are trying to select, using stringent criteria being certain is very important and having a trusted fellow vouch is crucial.

Every single Igbo leader has made it a passionate pastimes since April 30 to rally against Buhari, the few who are in APC have little support of their people , I was very disappointed on how Ngige and few other guys were treated in the SE, Ngige was surely boud to be the senate president , the nation would have been saved the desperation of Saraki. Ngige has clout ,experience, contacts, and he is loyal to his word. I know there is something for him in the APC FG, but let September come first before we call the dog bad names so as to kill it

In as much as u er very popular on NL, am disappointed at how very wrongly u ve misconstrued wat PMB said about nt treating all d regions in d country same way. If u were to intellectually and unsentimentally look at that statement, u will see d wisdom in it! PMB neva said he will nt treat all d regions fairly! But some pple and regions sacrificed more dan odas and it is only natural dat he givs 1st priority to those who sacrificed moredan odas! There is a sayin dat he who treat d good and bad in same way, will end up encouraging d bad to continue to do bad and discourage d good from good actions!

A classical wailing write up!

Igbos and double speak,
Igbos who like to reap where they did not sow,
Igbos who wants Biafra and at the same time juicy positions in government.
Igbos who are busy berating and fighting everybody and at the same time wants everybody to stand by them.
Igbos this and igbos that.
You lot better make up your mind and stop dancing and jumping about like an headless chicken in the market place.
If you want to play opposition, play opposition!
If you want to join the government , then join the government.
You can't do the two at the same time!

In the last government when Jonathan was busy short changing the yorubas, we took it in the chin and play the opposition.
We built coalition to change the government.
Can't the igbos do the same instead of wanting everything to be handed to them on a platter.
Bar man bring all the origin for my blooda here...ori e wan gbe .....

[b]IGBOS ARE WORRIED ABOUT NOT BEING PART OF MY PRESIDENT BUHARI'S: READ [/b
]Okorocha saw Yoruba team up with Hausa in Nigeria to form APC and knew from simple calculation that its over for Jonathan, then he shouted and begged Igbos to support APC but they were calling him betrayer because they don't understand politics. But Deputy Senate President even thou PDP is from Igbo in an all APC ruling government come on let's be honest for once in Nigeria he is not suppose to be there. No PDP government had allowed or would have allowed an opposition to take the position of Deputy senate President as far as we know PDP, so Igbos are already honoured by APC with this singular development when they(Igbos) have no APC member in the entire Senate. Igbos where not smart enough otherwise they should have return the likes of Ngige back to the senate who would have team up with the south south senators to become Senate President. But they only understand business not politics. Guys be wise there is nothing BUHARI can do right now.

This is the truth seasoned and dished out, the igbos have been marginalized. Sincerely speaking i did not expect this from President Buhari...how can we function as a nation when a knife is in motion to cut off vital parts.

Your reasoning is narrow. Very parochial.

Activa:
On one hand, you guys claim you don't need to be in govt.

On the other hand, you claim that you're not being appointed into govt.

Biafra is another issue. The author didn't say anything about this.

Which one we go believe?

By the way, how can u conclude with a dozen appointments made by buhari?

The south east locked itself out of the legislature by not voting for any apc member. Who u go blame for that? Better rejoice over that of Ekweremadu which your article even failed to acknowledge.

Well, it was expected...thats why we didn't vote for him at the first place.

A petty president if you ask me. The north never liked GEJ but he favoured them more. That's democratic.

Trust me, after his 4 years is over, the igbo nation would have advanced further while the nigerian nation (zoo) would be left with more criminals and a pitiable state

Stop this absurdity that the north nver liked GEJ, I bet you are one who just sits at home and lazily listens to raddio and news paper cheap journalism.

Have you ever even seen the 2011 voting pattern and statistics , Jonathan got a sweet 25% in literarily all the states and won a good number of northern states and lead Buhari by over 4 million votes including most SW states. In 2011 Jonathan was loved , north south east and west; be squandered that love 1st January 2012

The Igbo have chosen to be sentimental about the political issues which Nigerians have had to contend with, when the occupy Nigeria was in full swing and protests were organised in kano, Kaduna, abuja ,Lagos and PH yet having descenting voices from those states and regions , all of the SE became defensive rejected any protest of the unjust sudden removal of subsidy as a new years gift by the FG, and made it as an attack on GEJ an "Igbo son" whn stella Oduah was caught pants down and I can recall how that SE made it into a witch hunt allegations of their sister.

I love the north and SW for something, if any of their kinsmen is caught in a despicable act his punishment would be in public for all to see , farouk Lawan had no Hausa shouting he was set up by otedola, FFK was hung to dry till PDP took him in, Bode George was left to rot and no SW rose to defend him, and many more cases.

The Igbo have chosen to always vindicate evil doers because of the bond of ethnicity, a very wrong strategy.

And "If the igbos play the card very well Chris Ngige would have come out unopposed by now and nobody will drag the senate president seat with him but the leaders of the region played blind man politics"

The igbo people should rally round okorocha and ngige and other igbo leaders to move to the party in power.

The igbo should force themselves to put history behind and move fwd.

The igbo need a leader. To represent and speak for them

The should come out and. Condemn irresponsile acts eg radio biafra, and ekweremadu 's behaviour

The igbo should stop feeling victimized all the time.they should pray and work for projects and development to Come to their land during this APC time cos they ll stay after 2019
