SeraSera: Sure I know several people that did! &mind you am not saying, the stuffs I mentioned is what made them got there trv's There Just ideas he can pick from, I started in my friends application that he made an android app that the night watch uses to record the details of cars that come late to the community, and as the proprietor of the app he have to be available after every 2years to maintain and update it I also included the app's apk and raw source code in disc drive He was going for software engineering So I hope you get my point They need more than letter of study leave to believe you're coming back to your job and country |

handyteddy: OK, I sort of get your point. My own thing is, many of the ideas you put up there involve adding documents that are either unverifiable or falsified. And that could be a problem. 3 Likes |

SeraSera:i understand you. i firstly said he should spare 5k to goto cotonue, the second option is optional , secondly, one of us, one time or the other has added to the community development, so i dont think the cda would have problems giving you a verifiable temporary position, except youre just a bench warmer on ur street |

berexio1: I couldn't agree more with you. I'm of this school of thought that too much information complicates a good application. Try not to make your application complicated, keep it simple and honest. 1 Like |

I studied Architecture in undergrad and currently work as an architect and a construction project manager and I got admitted to a one year course in construction project management at conestoga college. How on earth can you explain a refusal for purpose of visit and proposed length of stay? Even after i attached my portfolio (architectural designs & construction projects) to my application. Dumbas*s Visa officer. im taking a break to finish my film project (hobby). Would reapply when I'm done 2 Likes |

Without getting my passport, I have already projected I was delayed for the two reasons.. Length of proposed stay and purpose of visit...... I think that's what they give when they don't have a reason to delay you... I need to speak with the so called CDHC!!!! What d hell is length of proposed stay!!!!! I need answers |

thesoj: I tried Canada with no positive outcome on visa. I was suppose to pay 14 dollars school fees in Canada. When somebody told me I can even study in Germany with English and is 100% free of charge plus free public transport and train, I rush apply for German student visa and admission and today I have no regret. I work and send money home rather than using the money to pay school fees. Information is power. 10 Likes |

The Germans are taking over our Canada thread o, nah just kidding. @Futurewiser and @eke40seven -- thanks to you guys for dropping by and commenting here; you guys are doing a great job on the German thread. From stealthily reading the German visa thread I have learned that it is an excellent place. My bro will try Germany if Canada visa doesn't work out. @HaykinsbFX, her approval email was sent yesterday (12th), but the PDF document stating approval was dated August 11th. @omooba2015 @SeraSera @TheBae @Inkblood @dallydd thanks for the congratulations. @favour0011, I will post more details about the documents in a few hours. @standupguy thanks bro. Yes o, na MSc. @MichaelFinn posted earlier about getting admission to uOttawa MSc with a low 2:2 BSc CGPA. My bro also has a 2:2 CGPA and he will be applying for a visa with a PGD admission… but @MichaelFinn is proof that admission to MSc is still possible, I can imagine his MSc application SOP was really good though, because I read his TRV SOP and it was excellent and easy to read. |

Re: Travelling To Canada Part 8 by hayqinsbFX: 8:51pm On Aug 13, 2015 |
Our fellow Nigerians are the ones closing the door on genuine students and this really pains. The rate at which Nigerians with study visa defer admission to January just to work some more is alarming and colleges have called attention of CIC to it. Personally I fully support the removal of work permit for students while they study if that will lessen their strong stance in issuing study visa. But I fully support the postgraduate work permit program which I feel should be upheld. A student that have studied fully has the right to stay back and work to either get experience or make some money. 2 Likes |
