Congrats on this new delivery. Glad to be here. I am 31 weeks 4 days, I am 29 years old and it's my first. I live in the UK, this pregnancy has been going on very fine but my midwife called my attention to something today which has left me a worried. 10 years ago I had a surgical procedure for fibroid removal ( I have a small almost unnoticeable surgical scar around my pubic bone). She told me that considering the incisions during the surgical procedure, I might incur the risk of an uterine rupture if I go through vaginal birth. She however referred me to a consultant who will determine whether I am fit for a vaginal birth or CS. That would be in a month's time. I have read a lot about the fact that mymectomy is similar to the CS procedure and therefore vaginal delivery afterwards might pose a risk of uterine rupture but I have also read that it is dependent on the the type or severity of incisions made during the surgery. As of now, I am hopeful that the severity of incision during my surgery was mild considering the fact that the fibroid was very small and I was still very young (18+). I hope I am part of the lucky ones that can still go on to have a normal vaginal birth. Anyone who knows of someone that delivered normally after a fibroid removal surgery? Kendellmal...if your bp keeps rising week by week, ask the Dr what you should do about it. A sharp increase in bp could be an indicator to something.
In the mean time reduce stress.....do your shoppings nearby , sleep regularly, eat healthy, hang out with friends.

Also someone once told me that cucumber reduces bp..... how true/ safe is it?
