I hope Mikel used this game to settle the debate that he is the best pass master in the country.

I pray he puts in better performances after this game.

I beg you Obi cool your temper when you meet Man City aka Cityzens.

Coach Siasia, I hope you also give Obinna Nwobodo a chance. That boy is a midfield gem.

So you believe that Man City will listen or take any club seriously that offers 530k pounds for Nacho. Even Osimhen agents are talking three million Euros.

In football, training is absolutely key to performance. Being able to run, switch directions and change speed whilst simultaneously controlling the ball and overseeing the whole pitch is extremely complex. You need to practice your tricks and shots again and again, to enable muscle memory and to help your body perform. In addition to this, you need to be physically strong and absolutely fit to be able to last 90 minutes, and sometimes even longer. Without constant and intense training, my performance on the pitch would be impossible......Sergio Aguero.

This is the kind of person we need Nacho around in the early stage of his career. The training, and tactical sessions are ahead of smaller clubs. So Nacho will learn all these from the managers and players. After he has learnt, he can hunt for playing time.

Note, training is key, not playing time.
Lol u r so wrong.

Sergio Aguero is USELESS in training at Man City... but it doesn't bother Joe Hart

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has hailed the brilliance of Sergio Aguero - although he claims he is 'useless' in training.
City's star striker Aguero underlined his return to form this season with a superb four-goal demolition of Tottenham on Saturday.
Aguero scored all the goals as the champions won 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium in the Barclays Premier League, taking his tally for the campaign to 10 in all competitions.
It also made the Argentinian City's record goalscorer in the Premier League with 61 and took him to 85 goals in 132 appearances for the club overall.
It was an emphatic reminder of the 26-year-old's talents now that the muscle injuries which hampered him during the latter half of last season and the World Cup appear behind him.
Hart said: 'He is one of those players - and I don't think he will be unhappy with me saying it - that some days you look at him in training and he is useless!
'That is just down to him, and you know that when it comes to games he is going to score, because he is that talented, that good a player.
'He is a big-match player and deserves to be at a big club like this, scoring goals for these fans, and I can't be positive enough about him. He deserves all the plaudits he gets.
'Finishing-wise he is one of the best and his goals-to-games ratio in the Premier League is the best.'
Aguero's statistics in that regard are certainly impressive.
His 61 Premier League goals have come in 95 appearances and he averages a goal every 108.3 minutes, according to Opta.
That is the most clinical ratio in Premier League history, ahead of Thierry Henry (121.cool and Ruud van Nistelrooy (128.2) - although both of them played many more minutes.
Hart said: 'He still has a lot of work to do. He is only young and hopefully, if we keep him fit, he will be pushing on.'

Joe Hart is not saying Augusto does not work hard in training to get better. The article is about goal conversion. Joe Hart is saying Aguero is not as good as he is in training games. He is saying he misses a lot and Aguero should improve his conversion on the training pitch.

He is not saying Aguero does not train at all and he makes amazing recoveries from injuries.

Do you think his built body is from dancing Alanta.

“I go into training every day and see the players of the calibre that I am working with — like Vinny (Vincent Kompany), Sergio (Aguero), David (Silva), Joe (Hart),” Raheem Sterling said.

“There is only one thing you can do and that is improve with players like that, who have been around for many years and achieving stuff.”

I guess you will say Sterling is wrong and that all he needs is playing time at Liverpool. Training with the likes of Aguero and Silva is not necessary.

Friend there is no hidden meaning in that article u don't need to dance around what Joe Hart said. The headline reads "Sergio Aguero is USELESS in training at Man City" there was nothing in there about scoring or converting more in training. Hart is saying Kun doesn't give 100 percent in training hence the word USELESS. That tells me Pellegrini doesn't pick his players solely on their form in training. Iheanacho can score 100 goals but as long as Kun and or Bony are fit he stays on the bench. City might be ur team but u have to think what is best for Nigeria. At this point in time with what we have on ground(wc, Olympics, afcon) Iheanacho sitting on the bench studying is not the best thing for us.

[b]Funny. So your market value of Solanke is Wilfred Bony. I wonder how that even came to you.

Bony left Netherland as the best player and the highest goal scorer. Is that what Solanke has done?

Neymar for instance had over six years of Professional football. So how can you judge Nacho in about six months of professional football.

If an injured Falcao is more important to Chelsea than a Solanke, I wonder how he has Bony's market value to you.

Judge Nacho after few years as a Citizen. So far, he has done well, made more headlines than your Solanke in top footballing sites and news network.]

TheGoodJoe:

quote author=TheGoodJoe post=41598168]

Solanke's decision was a ridiculous decision. It was better he was a third choice striker at Chelsea than going on loan. The Club choosing a crocked striker over him shows the club has no trust in their youth players.

Nacho has done okay for his first few months in professional football, including getting a National team call up.

I repeat, Nacho has a better market value than Solanke. How many Vitesse Boys are clubs chasing .

@bolded is the koko. Wilfred Bonny is a product of Vitesse before he was bought by Man City for 35 Million Euros without collecting change and that's the exact answer to what you asked me.

Oh I see! You mean Bonny left Vitesse as the best player and highest goal scorer to become Man City second Striker? grin Chai! Vitesse good ooo.

Do you mean if Solanke is able to have more playing time and score more goals than Man City second striker(Wilfred Bonny) in their first season with Vitesse? Yes, of course. grin

5 goals and one assist in 15 matches for a boy playing professional football for the first time is not fluke now.

Thank God you acknowledged Falcao is having injury thou we all know Chelsea didn't bring in injured Falcao.

As you can see, Neymar preferred playing time than been used as a mere trainee hence he refused to go to Chelsea at his early age. You know now.

Did I ever say a player cannot be come a top player playing in other clubs?

I am saying it is faster for a youngster to attain top form playing with top players than the loan business.

This season, Remy injured and Costa got a suspension.

It is better Solanke played there as the third striker than the loan.

Look at Thiago Alcantara. He became World Class so fast becaue of the condition he trained under with the likes of Iniesta, Busquets and Xavi.

The point is too simple. Do you think Kelechi Nwakali will become a World Class player faster at Warri Wolves with regular playing time than as a sub at Barcelona.

You are making one mistake. No one is saying Solanke is not hot. The discussion is that is the loan move favorable to build Solanke.

Falcao did not come in with a stellar season behind him. If I do not think Solanke is good, will I prefer Chelsea keeping him as a third strike instead of signing Falcao?

Chelsea does not rate him as much as you do.

I asked a smple question. How many Vitesse Boys are top clubs chasing?

Bony is your answer. Does that not tell you that it is not so promising? One is not a good number. Bony is no more a Vitesse boy.

If Barca puts their reserve boys for sale, like Sergi Roberto and Rafinha, I bet you more clubs will come for them than Solanke with all the game time.

Look at how Mancini rushed for Montoya who was a Barca reserve.

Game time s overrated.

Thank God you acknowledged that a player can become a top player while playing for other clubs.

I don't think it's fastest because we all know Neymar, Rivaldo and even Yaya Toure didn't attain top form playing with top players. They are/were naturally good and talented players.

How can we know Costa and Remy will be injured and get suspended at the beginning of the season? Chelsea managers are no prophet.

Remember, Chelsea fc is currently the Premier League Champions and they achieved that with just one striker last season. Even, Drogba and Remy didn't get enough time to play last season. And you expect him to stay on the bench?

You can see they never know tomorrow today. Nobody knows to tomorrow oo ah except.....

Many players have trained with Messi, Inesta and Xavi but not all are super star today. Tiago Alanthra talent is inbuilt like any other talented ones. That's all.

You are making one mistake. No one is saying Solanke is not hot. The dscussion is that is the loan move favorable to build Solanke.

Falcao did not come in with a stellar season behind him. If I do not think Solanke is good, will I prefer Chelsea keeping him as a third strike instead of signing Falcao?

Chelsea does not rate him as much as you do.

Yes, loan move is favourable to build Solanke because he has outgrown academy football and he can't be left on the bench for two seasons at a stretch.

Even without Falcao coming, Chelsea won the League with Costa.

If Chelsea doesn't rate him, how come he was promoted to the first team straight at the age of 16 last season and how come Chelsea named him on bench in their UEFA Champions League matches and even played him in one of those matches at the age of 17 which made him to become the youngest player to have played for Chelsea?

That is what third strikers are, covers for top players. I never said someone can not grow in other clubs si saying I am acknowledging is out of point.

I said it is faster training with top talents than regular time.

I insist and repeat. Playing time is overrated. Nacho is gaining more at Man City than a loan.

Solanke woulf have gained more and developed faster as the third striker at Chelsea.

Do you think Kelechi Nwakali will gain more with playing time at Burnley FC or as a subat Barcelona training with the likes of Rakitic, Iniesta, Mascherano and Busquets.

forgiveness:

Are you saying players do not improve when they play and train with top players compared to when they train with weaker players?

Are you saying Kelechi Nwakali's development will be the same if he plays at Heartland FC as if he trains with the current Barcelona eam?

Nope but I am saying Iheanacho would be better off with Burnley if it means he will play football.

The training sessions and tactcal sessions at City are top knotch. What Nacho needs now is to train at the highest level before playing time.

The playing time at City will come. Soon.

Every barca boy gets playing time, don't forget there is a barca B that plays in a strong Spanish segunda. Most of them never trained with Messi.

Nigeria: Young Players Expected to Hit New Heights in 2016

By Mansur Abubakar

These players are already household names to certain extents but are expected to really hit the ground running in 2016 after showing traces of brilliance in the past year.

Kelechi Iheanacho - last year was an unforgettable year for Iheanacho, he not only got his first senior debut for Manchester City in an English Premier League game, he also scored two dramatic goals that not only confirmed six points for City in their push for the EPL title but also cementing his place alongside the likes of Yaya Toure, Sergio Aguero and David Silva on the weekly team sheet.

This year, the player is expected to go one step further by claiming a starting line up shirt among City's elite players and with the club's ageing squad and plans of inculcating young players into the first team, Iheanacho might just to be closer to realizing his dream of becoming a 'starter'.

Taiwo Awoniyi - No one will be happier than this player for the fact that Jurgen Klopp is now Liverpool manager given his history of unearthing gems. When the youngster signed for the English giants last year, Brendan Rodgers was still in charge and he was hurriedly rushed to Bundesliga 2 on loan.

Awoniyi will return to the Anfield club by May (at the end of the season) and as everyone know about Klopp, he loves his young players, if Awoniyi is able to replicate some of his scoring exploits for Nigeria during the next pre-season with Liverpool he would be in the Kop's senior team for the next season.

Victor Osimhen - this year, the FIFA U17 World Cup record goal scorer will finally turn 18 which will enable him to sign his first professional contract. The question on many people's lips is which of these two will he finally settle for, Wolfsburg or Arsenal.

Each of the aforementioned clubs have amazing history in terms of nurturing talents for the game and many believe signing for any will be a step in the right direction for the Ultimate academy striker.

Kelechi Nwakali - another player from the 2015 U17 class whose talents cannot be questioned. He is presently linked with Arsenal and Manchester City which has his brother Chidebere Nwakali in their ranks. He is a player who can be likened to a young 'Mesut Ozil'or the Dutch maestro 'Dennis Bergkamp' due to his vision on the field of play and ability to create something out of nothing. Nwakali is expected to finally settle for one of his suitors early this year, move over there and continue to dazzle with his amazing talent.

Moses Simon - some Nigerian football fans claimed not to have heard of him before his thunderbolt free kick that ensured the Super Eagles overcame a stubborn Swaziland and qualify for the final FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying round.

Fans of Gent in the Belgian top flight already have a song for him after hitting double figures for the club in the last two seasons which culminated in the northern side winning the country's FA Cup.

For two years now, some of the biggest sides in Europe have been on Moses' trail and many believe Chelsea, Liverpool or Porto might finally get their man this year.

Zaharadeen Bello - like Iheanacho, Bello is another player from the 2013 U17 World Cup winning side that has the world at his feet. An amazing defender that can only get better.

Was unlucky to have joined Kano Pillars in a 'not too good' season but despite that emerged one of the few bright sparks in what was a disappointing term for the former NPFL champions.

His performances whenever he was called upon have been commendable and it's expected that Bello will go ahead to establish himself as a regular with the one-time CAF Champions league semifinalist who will be looking to redeem themselves in the 2015/2016 season.

Nigeria: Alampasu Makes CD Feirense Debut

Nigeria goalkeeper Dele Alampasu on Wednesday night made his competitive debut for CD Feirense in the Portuguese League Cup.

Alampasu, who has been part of the Eagles set up for the past few games has made three match day squads for his team but got the nod from the start in the away game against Famalicao.

The former Golden Eaglets goaltender, who won the best goalkeeper gloves at the 2013 FIFA Under-17 World Cup, was in good form in the game.

He made two outstanding saves in the first half that ended goalless and kept Feirense in the game for long periods as the home side.

Feirense got the go-ahead goal in the 50th minute when Michael Freire broke through to score the only goal of the game.

Alampasu and his teammates came under a barrage of attack from the home side but they could not breach the Feirense defence.

The 19-year-old pulled off another fantastic save in the 89th minute of the game getting a hand to divert it away from goal and was called to duty again in the 91st minute punching away a dangerous corner kick.

Feirense held on to secure their win and earn Alampasu his first competitive win and clean sheet.

With the result, Feirense is second on the Portuguese League Cup Group A with three points from two matches.

Stop, Sergi Roberto has been with the first team off and on since 2010. He probably has Messi's number.

At least, it's on record that the only one(?) Vitesse produced broke into Man City first eleven grin. That's the koko.

Are they still playing for Barca reserve?

Both of them were sent to Barca reserve team in the second tier of Spanish league for 2-3 seasons to gain experience before they were gradually brought in to play for Barca main team. In fact, at one point, Barcelona deemed them as surplus to requirements before they were sold off or converted and sent on loan. grin Chai!

In the 2015–16 season, after being reconverted by manager Luis Enrique and merely months after nearly being deemed surplus to requirements,[10][11] Roberto appeared as a right back in several games.[12][13]

Wikipedia confirmed it.
