Just carry your big Belle and go there, and see the kyn of preferential treatment you ll be given. Nobody expects you to stand on a long queue. I enjoyed my pregnancy days, na just to dey waka boldly to the front

The first scan gives the most accurate EDD and it's plus or minus 2 weeks so b rest assured cos scans wil alwaz give a date plus late scans r not used for dating

is it advisable for me to be drinking cold water? I prefer it to normal water.

secondly, I normally feel weak recently don't know whether it's malaria or is it normal. sometimes I feel restless and uncomfortable even back ache. What might be the cause?

My doctor replied me this when I asked him about my iced water cravings, he said who needs cold water more than a pregnant woman? Nobody!!! Drink as much cold water as you like .
Me na ice cubes I dey chop! Ordinary water doesn't sit well with me it caused me nausea. So the only way I can keep fluids is if its very cold or iced.

As for feeling weak mine was caused by low iron levels so I'd suggest you check you HB and rest well as much as possible. Its all part of the package

We are in same both, I lost 15kg first trimester, gradually gaining it back. U will gradually gain urs too. In my second now. D gud part, no maternity clothes shopping, with my extended belle, my jeans still fit. So m still balling with my mini gowns and jean dem. Hehehehe

@BritneyStacy, my house was also a mess during my first trimester but i got someone to clean the house thoroughly every week. Then i got an affordable dry cleaner who takes just 3k to wash 40 clothes. While dh, helped in other areas. The phase will soon be over. You're almost there

Do u have a very flat tummy? I heard pple with flat tummy start to show very early, dunno how true sha, me I still d wear my jeans , I ended up with a big tummy after my 1st cs, so mine is not obvious yet.

@Presval, st Martins is a no no cos have heard a lot of negative report concerning delivery, even my MIL forbids us from going there cos of negative comments from her colleagues at work.
Datta medical is a good Hospital, owned by dr Agbaje, he is a gyn. But presently using Prime and am ok with their service so far.

Thanks my sister. If I request for cold water, people around will give me bad look... as in what's their own? I've googled on it and it says the womb controls the temperature around the baby and what it eats. The first time I asked for soft drinks at the market and the seller gave me a blocked coke, i've been craving it ever since. If dh asks what I want him to buy for me, he already knows the answer - 'Buy me a coke that they forget block inside'

my tummy wasn't really that flat oooo, but d difference is clear. most of my skirts nd jeans esp really dnt fit....For now av been rocking gowns to work.

@goldmine, abi. I ws so bothered that I had to google and saw that some oyibo ppl's bump evn showed as early as 7wks. Na wetin don calm me dwn so.

Since it's recommended, it's not too much o. I had two at 1st trimester, one at 7weeks to be sure it implanted in the uterine and at 12weeks to know if it still had heartbeat. Don't blame od me, I had missed abortion at 12weeks because the baby's heartbeat stopped at 8weeks in previous pregnancy. Imagine I wasted a whole 1st trimester after all the severe ms and had to restart another missionary journey but to the glory of God
