Hmmm baby things cost o as par the exchange rate. Na person go buy my baby things and didn't have the experience but had to escort a friend to buy hers. It was fun but na money matter. We reach there and come adjust what to buy according to the size of our pocket.

So here's the essential things to buy for now apart from hospital list o.
1}Unisex clothes.
2}Shawls/blankets.
3}Caps, socks, and bibs.
4}Towel and face towels.
5}Baby bath set.
6}Flask, stainless cup with cover and spoon.
7}Diapers / cloth nappies;
8}Toiletries: Lotion, oil, powder, olive oil, soap, sponge powder, methylated spirit / alcohol, cotton wool, wipes, and combs.
9} Feeding bottles and a plastic container with a cover for sterilizing the bottles.
10} The mother: Sanitary pads, panties, toiletries and change of clothes.
11}Baby bag.
12}Car seat.

Additional items will be bought as the baby grows, which depends on the usefulness of the item and one's financial capabilities.

First welcome to the Preggy thread. Have a fruitful and stressfree pregnancy.
Second, if you have not been using AN drugs, I hope you have been eating right. Not just healthy but right. You need your AN drugs if you have a poor appetite or if eating right might be too expensive. Do it for your child. You can try pregnacare in eba or sth solid like that at night. I heard its less ewwwish like that.
@ all, do you know that if you eat right and still use your drugs, all the drugs get flushed out cos your body cos the body has no way of storing minerals and vitamins.
Thirdly, the reason you are gulping so much soda is because your body needs quick energy that the soda provides and the chill too. It is not healthy. And because of that metallic taste in your mouth.....
You need to find another sugar source.
You need to eat healthy carbs...oats, fortified cereals, wheat and rice more. They will make sure u dont get tired easily cos they will slowly provide you with sugar and not a quick fix.
If and when u need a quick fix, grab an apple, a sweet carrot or a banana. You can always have them in your bag. Cookies can do the trick too.
The buttered yummy kind not the #10 own filled with sugar and oil.
If you need to have a chilled drink, opt for malt. It has some vitamins in it at least.
Or you can try chilled milk. I had this really cute flask that I used to make powdered milk + sugar + water + ice cubes. I will just be sipping all day long. When it got spoilt, I got this huge coffee cup with a sippy lid. People use to think I was sipping hot tea....in it was always chilled milk.

You need to stop guzzling that much sugar. If you have gestational diabetes, your baby may end up being overweight...I am not talking the 4.5 kg kind, I am talking about the 6.5 kg kind!
Just like every gestational related illness, there is a slight chance that it wont go away even after you have given birth.

Finally went to register for Antenatal at 14 weeks. I was hoping the nurses will not remember my face so soon again, na Big lie, they were all asking after my Son and smiling at me. I just throw face do my thing.

Yea, I use my Kenwood blender for moi moi too n it works though I make sure to blend in bits, it blends smoother dat way. I got a Masterchef juicer, trying to cut cost (big mistake). Used it only once n it did a really bad job. I'm drawn to Masterchef cos their appliances dey always fine n more affordable lol n one gets lucky atimes too. I got their sandwich maker n i've been using it since 2010. So Hws d Kenwood deep fryer u got, is it very ok?

They are newly attached shops, not in the market main building. The are wholesalers. People that sale inside the market buy from them. It's a man the owns the shop. Good evening, pls 18weeks is not just o..... go see a doc ASAP, register for antenatal, n pls go to a good hospital where they will carry out the right and necessary tests for you. first hospital I went to, they dint even bother to carry out any test...meanwhile I had malaria n slight infection, so pls do the right thing.
