u cant base lingards performance on goals since he is not a striker. but dat doenst negate the fact that he is average in any position he plays. the only academy players worth keeping are the ones dat burst into d first team guns blazing. dats why cleverly gibson et al had to leave because they r average at their best. Lingard is no exception. there is nothing worth nurturing in his game

My point is, that age thing doesn't count in Martial's case. He has everything he needs.

Baba you will agree with me that enthusiasm & commitment are important characteristics of greats. SAF won a shit ton of trophies with men like that. If you have passion & commitment for the game & the club you'd give your all for the team & if all the players are like this then we'd kill em all **cue Spartacus Lol** but seriously he won things with men like O'Shea Brown JS park cleverly even get 2BPL medals.
