1. Am having running nose, and am sneezing a lot, and anytime I sneeze, I have serious stomach pain for 2-3mins, I always use my hand to support my tummy when I want to sneeze, but it doesn't work,pls what can I do?

2.Am calculating 27wks plus, my hospt is calculating 28wks plus,scan is calculating 30wks plus, and my los are weighing 1.53kg(leading) and 1.32kg, should I be worried about the weight? And which wks should I go with, been that my lmp is nov 7th?

3. My 1st baby was thru emergency cs, in as much as I want a vbac for my 2nd, all d dr's dat I have seen are against it cos it's a multiple pregnancy, (moreover, for the past 1 month,the leading twin is breech, while the 2nd is cephalic)that I shouldn't risk it. Even dh said I should go for a planned cs, I have agreed to it, but am still thinking should I try vbac? If am to go with the planned cs, at what weeks will it be safe for my los?

4. There is this binder the call orthopedic binder, that it can be used immediately after a cs, it's like a girdle, has anyone used or heard of it before?

Pls i would need alot of mama input on this,i went for induction on monday and my doctor refused to induce me.his reason is that when i started antenantal at my 9th week of pregenancy my edd was on 28th of may so since then he has been working with that date but the problem is that i visited two other hospitals and the doctor there where telling me that baby is long overdue that i should come to be induce.
-i always have problem with my menses (i can stay for 3months without seeing it) so i dont really know when i got pregenant that was why i always rely on scan.
-why is it that my baby is now showing another date when my first three scans that i did early were all saying 25th 28th and 30th respectively
-should i go with this new doctors?

I think u should go with a scan preferably a 3d or 4d to check babys amniotic fluid to know how long baby can stil stay in there meanwhile d earliest scan is most reliable because as d preg grows, baby gets bigger & scan brings ur edd closer.
i was also worried cos of my baby's weigt & my doc explained to me dat scan judges based on weight dat a smaller baby wil show a farther edd while for a big baby, scan wil say u ll born tomoro. dat as long as d amniotic fluid level is adequate, let baby bake well.

thanks swthrt, have been taking the vit c oo, as for the warm water , DH is even quarelling me rite now, cold water dey my side as I d type, my problem is the stomach pain dat comes whenever I sneeze, will try as much as possible to reduce this cold water .

Don't mind ur Lo's, since they are twins they may come out small.... my twinny weighed 2.5 at birth and I weighed 2.2. The only thing is that you may not be discharged immediately. As for the sneezing, I think it is the weather, i've been down with serious cold myself, try to take warm things nothing cold for now an a warm towel on your forehead. It is well with us.

@udoomama, sorry about the cold. You are sneezing hard dats why you hv tummy pain coupled with a stretched out preg tummy. You can't do much abt that. Vit C will help and inhalation of menthol crystals dissolved in hot water. The catarrh will run its course and stop.
2. Don't bother about the weight pls. With LMP, u r 27wks +. Note that twins come earlier.
3. Work with your doctors. The leading twin may become cephalic since there's still time. With a previous scar n carrying multiple, your dr may not b keen on vbac. Just go with their judgement. Most doctors do an elective CS for twins between 35 to 38wks.

My mum said it was 3weeks to her due date, the doctors wanted her to undergo CS but we were delivered through Vjay. My sister had her own twins through Vjay too.

Pls mama I need opinion on this drug my gnea gave me o,I complain to him about my Virginal discharge he gave me flagy and amoxilin to be use and am in my 15wks. Is it safe to be use ?

My doctor was against pregnacare too. He said coupling different drugs into one cannot allow you to measure both breakdown of the drugs in the system and how much of each component the body absolves. Meanwhile, taking [color=#006600][/color]each separate tablet can help you measure how much of each component the body is absorbing and breaking down.
My advise is for you to take folic acid at least once a day. It's a small tablet. I'm guilty of missing a few but I still took it as much as I could

Pls go with ur doc advice,elective .cs is d best 4u right now since 1 is breached already,4 twin gestation period is shorter,36-38weeks is ok,my bestie had a set of twin on Xmas day @ 38weeks n sum days via cs,it was a tough decision 4her because she desperately wanted a vjay delivery,but she had 2do it 4d sake of d kids as 1 was breached already n dey had overstayed,2d glory of God,d surgery went smoothly n in less than 40mins we were called 2carry dem,was so shocked at how fast n smooth d surgery went,so pls diarris notin 2fear,just adhere 2 ur doct advice n pray,God can still grant u ur heart desire.As 4d girdle no idea.

Are you a FTM? Start with buying all the things in your hospital list first....Then you buy baby bath, drier (hanger) , baby soap, oil, cream, sponge (if it is not already in the hospital list ), pampers and wipes that will take you for at least one month (hoping that you will get some as gift after delivery ), baby bank . That's the few that came to mind now....Other experienced mum's will contribute

Haven't bought anything myself yet cos of this same money issue but am going to the market today all things being equal....Will share prices of some items I saw when am back...
God will provide all we need to take care of this blessings he has given to us.

My doctor also asked me to stop taking pregnacare.... Reason being that the dosage of the vitamins in it are not enough for we African mothers... Especially the folic acid and iron...

I think you should tell him to give you reasons why he asked you to stop it...

You really really need your prenatal vitamins especially folic acid, as it is very essential in this 1st trimester. I am 10 weeks to, and I used to get that nauseous feeling too but what I did was to start taking d drugs at night after dinner instead of taking them during the day. That way I didn't feel the nauseous effect that much.

Sorry to ask o, but what exactly does your doctor have against pregnacare? Maybe U should find out. But in my honest opinion, it is you, who is pregnant that needs it because eating well can be a huge issue due to morning sickness n all. Anyways I'll let other experienced Mamas advice u more.

I'm a ftm o. I was doing kegel exercise at pregnancy. Though no tear but the two labia swelled after delivery. For a week I soaked soft towel inside hot water, placed it in between vj and tightened. Blood stopped exactly a week. When you massage tummy everyday morning and night, thick blood will evacuate. It helps in quick recovery. By 2nd week, I was ready to go

babythug Lol. Vigilante is real o but body no be wood na. It's not necessary to wait 6weeks if you're good to go.

If your last LMP was Nov 7,then your babies' gestational age should be 28weeks.
Twin babies usually don't weigh much.They are often 2.x kg.If your babies are 1.7kg and 1.5kg at 28weeks,they will eventually add more to be over 2kg at birth so there's nothing to be worried about.

I WILL GO with your doctors that you have a C/S to birth your babies.It doesn't seem you have much of a choice since you already have a previous c/s.You will be scheduled for an elective.At 38weeks,your babies can be delivered.

The orthopaedic binder sounds like an orthopaedic corset.You wear around your waist to protect your belly after the c/s.I'm not a fan of girdles after birth because it doesn't help your stomach muscles get back their tone on time.
