We yoruba know that Awolowo loved Ibos that was why he chose Steve Onu as running mate in the presidential elections in the 70s.

"In 2003, President Buhari, the then presidential flag bearer of APP, picked a full blooded Igbo son, Senator Chuba Okadigbo, as his running mate for that year’s presidential election. Again, in 2007, he picked Chief Edwin Umezoke as his running mate, having won the presidential ticket of ANPP for that year’s presidential election too. On both occasions, the Igbo nation rejected Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and her sons who ran alongside him at the polls. If Buhari hates Ndigbo, would he have chosen Igbo people as his running mates on two occasions – persons who had the potentials to succeed him if he had won power on any of the attempts?"

So? Must Ndiigbo vote for Buhari because he picked an Igbo vice? Do we look like Yorubas?

Is this nolonger democracy where we have our right to choose who ever we want? Why didn't the Yorubas vote for Buhari in 2003, 2007 ? Because their son was not picked as a vice?

Shouldn't Ndiigbo be praised for not playing tribal politics, ie voting an OBJ candidature with no Igbo VP twice over a Buhari with Igbo VP, isn't that a sign of political maturity and neutrality, must we now choose the Yoruba tribal amala politics that started looking the way of Buhari from 2011 when he started presenting a Yoruba VPs?

His choice of Igbo candidates in 2003 and 2007 has nothing to do with love for Ndiigbo, it was more of political opportunistic thinking. With the leading political party presenting non Igbo presidential candidate during those years, Buhari thought he could attract Igbo votes with an Igbo VP, it never worked because Igbos don't play tribal politics, he tried the same tricks with Yorubas in 2011 with minimal success and in 2015 with maximum success.

After I read this, my first thought was...the person must be a none igbo, no doubt.

So I researched him to see if the Nigga is real

1.) He's real
2.) He reside in Kano state
3.) He works for Kano state government
4.) He used to be special adviser to a past Kano state governor and now he's a special adviser of their internal blah blah to the current Kano state government

So in other words APC should try a little bit harder because this is beyond stale. I repeat APC you can call all Igbo in your payroll to rant rubbish....your president hated igbos...he's displayed it on multiple occasions and likewise we'll replicate that his hate.

Also him choosing igbo as his running mate isn't proof he likes igbo people. He tried to play igbo wayo like he did yoruba now. He thought igbo will vote for him because in the average northerners mind, he thinks igbo are like them that are desperate for power thus will vote "our son". What he learned is we won't vote a dullard with zero idea how to rule in just because " our son" is standing next to him.

Very very spot on Op. Greed and quest for quick wealth is what has bedeviled the ibo nation. The hatred is so blinding that they forget that foreign affairs, Commerce science and technology, petroleum, the CBN, Amcon, debt management, budget office and other strategic position that forbears the Nigerian economy are being managed by the Ibos. Ipob youths, think for ur selves. In fact all Nigerians should have an open mind.

Does our El-dullardeen Ibn Mumuharri have an open mind?

No wonder. So because the efuluefu is receiving crumbs from a northern state, he will now rope Ndiigbo into slavery.

When you see an Igbo chanting love for Buhari, APC , or Nigeria, look well, the motivation is usually selfish and greed driven.

You dey mind him. That's why I don't trust any Igbo politician. I rather listen to IPOB, Massob, or any of the Biafran agitator groups than listen to "igbo politicians". At least those ones have the people interest at heart while those "politicians" are greedy rats. Even ohaneze sold out and that's what hurts me the most. They are all useless

Look at the one claiming Igbo Since.. On the topic, well the suffering is much in the land hence, one gats to hustle harder... Even if it means sucking the Fulani balls by writing columns to spite your people, it's allowed. What matter is that you get your dough at the end. But I wanna remind the OP that a woman that has spent 30 years of her life in Kano, a woman that has never visited her home state Imo in the last 30 years, was killed like a rat in Kano few weeks back.. This is to let you know that you can suck their balls all you want, but when the time comes when you've exhausted your usefulness to them, they will delete you like a piss of shiiit.. A word is enough for the wise..

EMMAUGOH:
My brothers from the east celebrating this write up are indeed ignorant and are those that can never learn in their Lives.
I have heard many things about ndi Igbo greediness but when I look back into Nigeria history all I see is people from Northern Nigeria and from other tribes looting Nigeria dry but will be pointing the other hand at Ndi Igbo. Since 1967 to date how many igbo leaders has emerged leaders in this country..None, but where is Nigeria Today.. The propaganda is really working, If we are to blame the woes of Nigeria in PdP 16yrs of leadership, what about other years when it was the most righteous people in Nigeria was in Power.

Let me ask u a question? How many people from South east has been indicted in Dansuki saga, then calculate how many from North, West and South. But every hand is pointing at Ndi-igbo as those that are sponsoring corruption in this country, whereas No igbo man is corrupted.

Abacha looted this country dry in his regime, how many northerners has come to blame Abacha. Even ur president said Abacha never stole yet his looted funds are been return from year to year.

I won't tell u guys to stop, what I want to say is this. Buhari keeping Nnamdi Kanu in prison is a big shame to the people in South east, A very Big shame to us, it shows that we are nothing but cowards that will assume ourselves as our problem whereas our problem is controlling us .

When agitation for Biafra started last year, what event caused it. Was it not the illegal arrest of Nnamdi kanu that made many igbo youth to stage protest at streets and when his release was far off, it now resulted from state to state protest. But if u ask some people here they would tell u is because of Goodluck jonathan did not win election, who the hell is Goodluck when we all know he did nothing for ndi igbo.

I would tell u guys again, the nothern propaganda is really working. Tommorow armies might attack igbo people and call them rebels. Majority of those gotten by the propaganda would fully believe because they believe Buhari is a saint and never need to be questioned.

First there is no Igbo that agrees with the post. All you see are yoruba claiming igbo. amaechi1 is an example.

Secondly, thank you for the post. Also remember UK released the names of the most corrupt Nigerian politicians and last i checked, not one single igbo made the list. In addition, you forgot to mention Nnamdi Kanu hated GEJ and even urged people to stay home and not vote at all for either politicians during the last election.

All I see is a nation using igbo are their escape goat for every terrible sh1t they put themselves in and igbos are FED up with it. We rather be by ourselves. Let the saints enjoy their Nigeria by themselves. The f2k is their problem? I would think a nation which blames igbo for everything will rejoice when that set would wish to leave them by themselves, instead we see them gallivating

Useless writer abi politician indirectly seeking for Buhari's attention.

Igbo people's hatred for Buhari did not start now, it started before the civil war; Buhari's role at Dordan barracks in secretly murdering his fellow Igbo soldiers while they were asleep to pave way for the bloody counter coup that led to the death of late Gen. Aguiyi Ironsi and of course one of the major causes of the Biafran/Nigerian civil war was the beginning of Igbo people's hatred for Buhari, it's not about Buhari's anti-corruption.

Me I am an Igbo, but I hate corruption with passion! The only thing that made my father and siblings to even like Buhari before he became president in 2015 was his stand on anti-corruption! My family (except me) voted for Buhari because they believed he would fight corruption without being biased, but right now my brothers are disappointed with Buhari's biased anti-corruption war!

Buhari doesn't love Igbos, he hasn't proven beyond doubt that he doesn't hate Igbos!

Buhari's only joy is when Muslim Fulani/Hausa people are exalted above every other Nigerian, if you like kill yourself defending Buhari, so long as you are not a Fulani/Hausa Muslim, you are wasting your time!

To Buhari, it's only Igbos, Niger Deltans and Yorubas that are corrupt (that is why up till today, Buhari doesn't believe or agree that Abacha was corrupt, instead he keeps defending Abacha and exalting Aabacha's family despite the ruthless manner Abacha looted Nigeria's commonwealth). Every other Fulani/Hausa Muslim Buhari is probing or fighting is just a personal war between him and them.

In Buhari's anti-corruption book: all Fulani/Hause Muslims are saints, the only corrupt Hausa/Fulani Muslims are the ones that worked under Goodluck or had a score to settle with Buhari before he became president. Buhari never forgives; vengeance is his second name!

No matter what Yorubas do to please Buhari, Buhari doesn't love nor trust Yorubas, he is only mingling with them because Yorubas helped him climb to power, if an opportunity avails, Buhari will teach Yorubas a tough lesson!

Buhari brought the hatred! Why didn't Igbos hate Musa Yaradua

This man is the greatest idiot to ever live. A coward and a traitor. You think when you insult your own Buhari will recognise you? Go and ask Ezekwesili and co. So ashamed of people like you. It's not your fault shaa! But one day, traitors like you will bow their heads in shame. And when that time comes, those you're seeking their favour will also tell you how stupid you are and how low they think of you. What nonsense!!! Unbelievable!!! Never knew we still have foolish men like this in our mist. Hard to believe. My advice: Go to Aso rock. Show this to Buhari and get his favours you're seeking for. What a shame!!! The belly that carried you can never be proud of you at this very moment. Ibos pls these are the traitors we are talking about.(How l wish l never came across this bullshit.)
