Timi cried as she ran towards her room. Richard was seriously hurt and she didn't know what to do.
Max was on her heels. Walking as fast as he could. He was going to finish it all. He was going to kill her if she was going to stay with Richard.
He would give her one last time to decide, and if she chose that idiot, he was going to kill her, then kill Richard.
He caught up to her pulling her hair, she gritted her teeth in pain.
He carried her forcefully, walking towards her room, he dumped her on the bed.
"I am going to let you decide. You either choose me or him. You pick him, you die, I am giving you a choice " he said with aggressively.
Timi stared at him with so much detest" You are really out of your mind if you think I would choose you after everything you did to me"

"You made your choice " he said pouncing on her and squeezing her neck.

" I would make sure to give you a very slow death, but first, I am going to have my fill of you, so I there won't be any need for you" he said unbuckling his belt.

Timi cried.

She wasn't ready to let this happen again.

She stretched her hand under her pillow and grabbed a knife.

Max wasn't expecting what happened next. Timi stabbed his leg and he screamed in pain.

"You good for nothing piece of trash" he said slapping her, making her to stop struggling.

Max was in pains but he was still planning on having her.

He pushed her down, not caring about his bleeding leg staining the white sheet.

He forced a kiss on her lips, biting her and causing her to bleed.

"I pray you rot in he**" Timi said with so much pain.

Max tore at her clothes, "I am going to have you" he said pushing her legs apart.

A shot was fired.

Then another.

Max fell on her.

Epilogue

Timi sat in a corner of the house crying. She was never going to be able to sleep here again, with every thing that she had gone through here.

It was all crazy.

But she was happy. The police had gotten to her rescue early.

Asha Williams had been the one to pull the first two shots that killed Max.

Richard on the other hand had been rushed to the hospital for immediate treatment.

She felt a sense of relief.

She was going to be able to sleep well at night now that he was dead.

She saw Layla and Jasmine rush into the sitting room to meet her.

Layla looked horrible. She had red puffy eyes like she had been crying all day.

"Tell me you are okay, tell me that, that bastard didn't touch you? " Layla asked with tears flowing down her cheeks, while Jasmine held her hand.

Timi shook her head. And she stared at Layla, asking her questions that she couldn't voice out.

Layla Bersted into tears nodding. Timi stepped close and hugged Layla crying.

Max had hurt many women, even the woman he had claimed to have been engaged to. Layla and Timi cried both understanding what Max had put them through.

Jasmine stared at Layla knowing what Timi had asked without words.

She felt like their friendship just took another turn. Max had molded this women into strong women.

Richard stared at Timi and smiled softly.

"I am sorry I had to put you through this " Timi said her eyes teary as she stared at Richard on the hospital bed.

" I am sorry I couldn't fight for you, and you didn't put me through anything Timi. I was happy to be there for you "he said softly and Timi smiled sweetly.

" Timi I want a life with you, I can't think of a better life without you, I need you in my life, I want to spend the rest of my life with you, I know that this is coming a little too fast, but I need you " Richard said sincerely.

Timi smiled brightly. She didn't care if it was coming too fast. She smiled holding his hand.

" I am ready to spend the rest of my life with you, and the it's not coming too early" she said smiling sweetly.

Life with Richard was one she knew that she was never going to regret.

She looked forward to it.
