Gud morning. Thanx to all the mamas that responded to my issue. I did some research. While waiting for response here and found out that one of the side effect of progesterone injection is sporting but am hoping its implantation by God's grace.

I hv been on progesterone injection since 3rd of dis month after my hormonal essay result. said low progesterone and my doctor said I will take 10 doses of the injection

@ favouredi.... To the best of my knowledge ur HSG result is fairly ok. D distortion @ ur left tube could be as result of stiffening of ur pelvic muscles during d test. I know cos during my own HSG testing; I stiffened d first time & my scan results showed distorted tubes but d subsequent other two times were both straight with clear fluids @ their ends. Clear fluids @ the tube ends signify NO BLOCKAGE & a hydrosalpnix tube is a fluid-filled tube. So that's should be ur major concern. I normally do a Castor oil heat treatment once a month since i realised its increases blood flow 2 that region.


@ mamakendra.....d only time in 3yrs of ttcing that I spotted on CD19 was when I had my only bfp; so possibly it could be all we hope but plz abstain from bding this period till further notice (till date I been wish say I been hold body that period maybe d baby 4 stay)

I also took letrozole(5mg) to induce ovulation from cd5-9 and went for a TVS today cd14 and no dominant follicle was seen. Is there any possibility of ovulation occurring in this cycle? Thanks in advance

As for the scan result sometimes , a woman might need a little bit of hmg to help with follicular growth especially if you are pcos . i need to know if the dr saw any follicle and what sizes, because a dorminant follicle is about 18mm and above. if you are close to that but not yet there you will but if you are far from this reference point then may not. also how many days cycle do you have , is it a 28days or more .

i just felt like sharing this, cos i used to be like you and other women out there, and after going for tvs or any scan, my dh would ask me for the result, and i wud be blabbing, the sonographer didnt tell me, or he said everything is good etc, my dh would get very furious, and instruct me to ask for specifics n even remind them before the procedure, we are paying these guys for these services, so they shud divulge every every.

imagine 1 tvs i went for back then, uterine lining size in mm wasnt stated, sonoguy just said its ok, follicle size same thing
now, am better armed for them,o, no rubbish, write out everything for me chikena!

He should have told you the size. Always feel free to demand for information. You are entitled to know the size, afterall, you paid for the service

I think franklyfert has said it all. Leave drugs and go for hmg. It's best for women with pcos. But be start on the lowest dose possible (tho even at 50iu, I made 9mature follicles by cd 9 so had to cancel that cycle). Now I'm doing a combo cycle (clomid cd2-6 and hmg cd4-.
Please ensure u know what's going on in ur body at every doctor appointment. We are paying those guys for Christ sake so we deserve every bit of information possible.

I know every case is different but rubbing minds together helps. I was told that I am not ovulating and I've been put on clomid for 3 cycles. I took one (50mg a day starting on my first day of period.

I just advise from anyone with this no ovulation thing n how they overcame it or what was done differently that resulted in success. Please note no underlying issue apart from this.

@ Orney , U are based in bonny island right? Do you have a good gynae you see already? If you wish, I can recommend a very good gynae who runs a private hospital right on that Island to you. I know him personally. If I were based in Ph or bonny, na since I for don dey see am. Would get the name of the hospital and his number for you and others if una need.

Sorry to say but if you're not ovulating, then there's something responsible for it (which your doctor needs to find out) ovulation don't just "stop happening".
Did you ovulate on the 50mg clomid? Did they scan u to check if any follicle matured? Clomid is known to induce ovulation in most women, but for some, it doesn't work.
So the only way to know if you ovulated is to check for mature follicle on cd12 and then use ovulation test sticks to know if/when your body is surging (lh surge). Then also do a tvs few days after the day you're supposed to ovulate, if u ovulated, there will be fluid in your pod, and there will be a corpus luteum(where the egg came out from). And u can as well do a cd21 progesterone test.

Happy sunday mamas. God has been really faithful. He has given me peace of mind. If someone told me that during this 2WW I would be so calm,i would totally disagree. I'm on CD24 and I have not even bothered to think and put myself under any undue stress. After what happened during my last cycle that I almost ran mad,i just locked up. To my surprise, my laissez-faire disposition really worked.it paid off tremendously. Me that even if I cough or sneeze, my brain would make me think it's a preggy symptoms....Abeg mamas, don't kee yaself ooooooo. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, just let go and keep TTC of your minds.#MyTwoCents

. At first I thought I was the one that type the above, becos something similar happen to me. But mine came 26th of Oct and on the 17th of this month, I felt some discomfort within me as if my period was abt coming. I inserted pad and saw little blood since then till now have not see blood . Normally have my period every 28days or 29days which has never failed in this past.


Pls mama in the house should I be worry?

hello mama,ovulation occur when there is a follicular size of about 18mm and above, one of the major things that could cause you not to ovulate is when you are not having dorminate follicles.

women who are already diagnosed with anovulation ,tend to do better when increased dosage of clomid is used along with mild stimulaion injection . clomide of 50mg will work better with woman who are ovulating on their own

recommendation discuss these with your doctor
start clomid 50mg twice daily for 5day to start on day 2 of cycle
add hmg 75IU on day3 for another 5days
do a scan on day 10 of cycle to see the number of dorminate follicles . if one or two is found if not ready repeat scan in day 12.
take hcg(profasi or pregnl) 10000iu- injection to make sure you ovulation in 36hours time.
then do the necessary things with hb that day and the next and wait for the result in 15days time.
