Unfortunately you can only claim points for 189 visa If her occupation is on the Sol. The alternative you have is to apply for the 190 visa if you must claim points for partner. NSW nominates accountants without much stress as long as u meet the points requirements. All the best ucjc: |

Bosayo: As long as you can proof you are responsible for him, you can add him as a dependent. @ucjc, Someone already answered your question. @Keleto, Apply to EA for electrical engineering draftsperson. You can't nominate Engineering because you have an HND. |

bellong: Oga Bellong, Please what documents are required to prove one is responsible for the kid? I have a five year old Nephew I plan to add. The parents have agreed to let me include him. |

@Bellong, you mean EA(Engineer Australia?), what about (Trade Recognition Australia TRA), are they the same? |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by bellong: 1:04pm On Dec 24, 2016 |
OzyMigrant: Letter from the parents putting him in your care. Receipts for things you have bought for him or school fees paid if any. Anything you can think of showing you have been the carer and provider. keleto: Engineer Australia does electrical engineer draftsperson while Trades Recognition Australia is for technician. It is better for you to assess as a draftsperson as EA is faster. |

Dear Bellong and other gurus, please i will like to confirm if polio certificate requirement by DIBP is for adults and children OR children only. I have immunization record card for my kids and this includes polio, can this suffice as a certificate?. If it includes adults, how do i get the certificate?. Please advice, as we are hoping for a direct grant and not back and forth with CO. |

tunai: Everybody needs it. You have to get the yellow fever card. If the kid's polio vaccination is than a year, then dont need the vaccination again. Polio vaccination and yellow fever vaccination are all included in the card. |

bellong: My case is similar. I might have to rely on Pension statement, bank statement, payslips and possibly tax records. My HR dept is probing too hard even after informing them the reference letter is to be used for an Engineering assessment. They don't want me to abscond. In fact, discussion on the matter has been postponed till January. 1 Like |

Omooloriredade: Most Nigerian employers are like that. In my layman's opinion, what you have listed above plus your letter(s) of employment/confirmation/promotion should be enough to establish the authenticity of your employment claim. How about getting a trusted senior colleague to write some sort of personal reference for you? It should be "To Whom It May Concern" so that you won't have to go back to him on it. You may go further by obtaining a written job description of your job role from your company's HR as a supporting documentation. Borrowing an idea from the Canadian Immigration thread, you may write a brief explanation as to why you were unable to obtain one from your HR i.e. it is not in your company's policy to issue such letters to a serving staff. At least, the latter is what my employer told me when I requested for such a letter. NB: The above are my layman's opinion. 1 Like |
