buzu84: 1. As regards the transcript, you have to get it from your institution, make photocopy of it and take it to High Court to get it certified. It is the certified copy that you have to scan and upload to ACS not to be sent by your institution to them. 2. On MCIPT, i sent the one i have along with my cisco certifications but the case officer asked for the transcript of the Microsoft. I have to ask him to assess other certificate when i couldn't access my Microsoft portal. If you include it as part of your credentials and they need any clarification, you will get a mail form the assessor. 3. On the employment, i think statutory will do but if you have any other document to back up your employment history, its not a bad idea. I only send employment reference letter and nothing else in my own case. Hope this will help 1 Like |

@ buzu84 In addition to what bolaobby stated, if your Boss can help you with a reference letter with the companyletter head if available, it will also be very helpful. Certifying your documents should be around #100 - 200 per page (in High court as stated above). Is your highest degree Msc or Bsc or both (Note: if you have both degrees, you will have to certify and upload the BSc and Msc transcripts too). Buh, honestly bro..ACS is pretty straight forward. With your Computer Science degree and work experience you are good to go man!! |

Bellong and Other Helpful Guys, Please assist with the following questions based on the data below: Qualification: B.Sc Sociology(2:1), OAU Ife - 2001 ATS Certificate - 2003 M.Sc Banking & Finance, U.I Ibadan - 2010 Work Experience: XYZ Bank (Acquired) - Sep2004 - Jun 2006 ABC Bank (Acquired) - July2006 - Dec2009 GHP Nig Ltd ( As Internal Auditor) - Feb 2011 - Apr 2014 STY Bank - May2014 - Present Moment. NOTE: I have decided to choose NTERNAL AUDITOR as my Occupation and VETASSESS as Ass Authority. MY QUESTIONS NOW: 1. Based on my qualifications, is it adviseable to present my M.Sc. for assessment as I heard that VETASSESS will start counting your experience after your last qualification, and this might reduce my point on WK experience, at least since B.Sc and M.Sc are ranked the same point? 2. As regards all my banking experiences, in the offer letters, they don't usually state Job Position, only grade is always mentioned as u can posted to any dept BUT I have decided to pick Branch Internal Controller as my job function which is equivalent to an Internal Auditor, will that be okay? 3. Also, I would not be able to get References for all my banking experiences both past and in fact the present - because the past banks have been acquired and the present bank would not give or else I am ready to be sacked. But I have offer letters, account statements and my pension accounts. So, would it look good if I now provide Legal Declarations for References to ALL my banking experiences? 4. Picking Internal Auditor, is it wise for me based on my profile stated above? Are my academic qualifications closely related and relevant since VETASSESS insists u must a relevant qualifications? 5. I am aware VETASSESS is tough but my ATS certificate is not sufficient to apply as Accountant and External Auditor, I would have wished to go for another Ass Auth. So, what do u think about this? 6. Lastly, do i stand a little chance to have ITA if I start the process, and what other advice can u give to me? Dear Bellong, please kindly assist shed light on the my enquiries, I quite understand they are too bogus. God bless you and others who are giving help to people here. |

@halleluyah. I don't know so much about vetassess but I do know they can be tough. Then sociology degree alone to internal auditor?Im not too sure you will have the required core courses for internal auditor skill in your sociology transcript. You will most likely need your Ats and Msc to support you and that will reduce your points. Mayb you should try another skill and opt for vet assess as last resort. I'm sure others will have more to say |

**modified: Did not realize that tyosho is online @Hallelluyah 1. Based on what we know so far, VETASSESS start counting experience from your last qualification. 2. IMHO, what is crucial is the content of your job description(JD). Confirm if it aligns with the JD of your nominated occupation as per ANZSCO. 3. Statutory declaration should be okay supported by the other documents that you mentioned. 4. I suggest that you evaluate with your MSc. Gurus in the house can talk more on this. 5. Add your ATS certificate. You may also consider CA cc: angiesteve, kubbiebrownie 6. Go back to page 0 and review yourself point-by-point based on the general criteria. NB: Kindly note that the above are my personal opinions based on what I have read so far on this thread. Please avoid duplication of posts. You may go back to delete/modify your two previous posts as others may find it unpleasant. 1 Like |

40manlappy:Thanks for your response, I really appreciate. Meanwhile, I have deleted those repetition in the previous page as suggested, I am really sorry for that action. As for considering CA, my qualification as ATS holder cannot suffice as Financial Reporting and Mgt Accounting are not part of the courses taken in ATS, though I could get Financial Mgt from my M.Sc Banking & Finance? How do u see it? |

hallelluyah: I think it is worth giving a try but I can't say that authoritatively. If it were VETASSESS, would have advised you to try their advisory service that has now been rebranded to "Skill Assessment Support". That will save you unnecessary expense. |

Need help with this. Which occupation can someone with MBBS degree and MSc in Physiology with six years experience as a Medical Doctor choose. Is it possible to choose an occupation based on the master degree alone since the Medical route is tedious for now. Was just thinking of assessing my wife credential for additional 5pts. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by tyosho: 12:35pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
hallelluyah: Not a bother at all.I would suggest you go through the Csol and Sol lists patiently again .You will find a course sociology will qualify for.If that doesn't work, add all your degrees and search again |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Vinsmuft(m): 1:11pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
bolaobby: bolaobby, You are mostly correct in your answer. However if you are going to submit a Statutory declaration as an employment reference, ACS requires that you must attach a supporting evidence which is any of the following: ->Certified copy of Payslips – preferably first & last payslip ->Certified copy of Human Resource statement or Service Certificate ->Certified copy of Termination Letter with corresponding dates Also ACS is unable to accept letters of appointment, self-statutory declarations or contracts as employment references. This is what happened in my case as my case officer requested for supporting evidence. I had to get my payslips and upload to ACS. If you do not do so, ACS will proceed with your application but will omit that period of employment from your final report. |

tyosho:Exactly what you advised, after careful search all over again, I got one I can apply for - a Social Professional NEC - but under Csol. But I can't get exactly what the job functions are, and also what they mean by ' NEC not elsewhere classified'? |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by Bnimz(m): 3:51pm On Jan 05, 2017 |
hallelluyah:Just as Other Engineering Professionals - means all Engineering professions not explicitly mentioned,,, I'm inclined to believe that Social Professional NEC simply covers every other kind of Social course not specifically mentioned in the list. ... Sociology would be included in that.. |

Good evening house. Please is it necessary to present all degree certificates (Bsc, Msc and Phd) for vetassess qualification and skill assessments especially when they all qualify for the job specialisation for which the assessment is sought? I am sincerely tempted to believe that the 2nd and 3rd degrees will do. Getting the transcripts for the two degrees will be very easy and timely for me compared to my Bsc Thanks. |

Hello everyone, can anyone please help make this clarification in the below quoted from anzsco website. Does it mean that someone with a higher qualification cannot nominate an occupation in this category? Skill Level 2 : Occupations at Skill Level 2 have a level of skill commensurate with one of the following: - NZ Register Diploma or - AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma. |

@bellong and others helping out here... Thanks for the awesome work you guys are doing! Its actually invaluable. Thumbs up...and God bless you all. Please, kindly see if you and your guys can help me out here. I am a Civil/Structural Engineer, with ND, HND and BSc, all in Civil Engineering. Since Civil Engineering happens to be a professional course, that requires licensing after four years experience+BSc, and/or two years experience+HND+BSc. I read somewhere on anzscosearch.com that registration or licensing may be required for civil, structural, geotechnical etc. 1. How does this affect my assessment, cos I will be due for licensing at the beginning of third quarter this year? 3. I have over four years work experience after my HND and less than two years work experience after my BSc. Now, how do you think this EA guys will count my number of years of experience? Will it require that I need to tender all three certificates for the number of years of experience on them? Really sorry for the length of words, and please, kindly disregard any typo error(s)...typing frantically. |
