TWoods: You need to change your orientation about we Nigerians. From all your post,i can see your are a bloody racist. Me and you are only opportune to be in America, don't use that to castigate others back home. You came here for your graduate studies, why did you no do it back home? Why did you run away from Nigeria? Or you want to tell me UI,OAU and some other univerisities dont offer the course you came here to read. 6 Likes |

signature2012: Lets be honest, before you ask me why i ran away, shouldn't you answer that question yourself? if the universities you claim were that good, why didn't you study there? Second, i'm not sure why you want me to change my orientation about Nigerians... i mean take a bloody look at the nation. What is positive about it? Don't use terms you don't understand... Nigerians are not a "race"... so i can't be racist. Pointing out serious flaws in our nation doth not a racist make. What makes Nigeria's flaws worse is that it is peopled by unprincipled frauds. 21 Likes |

Every human being deserves respect. That is fundamental. If you disrespect me personally, that still makes sense if we have personal grouse. We may have a disagreement but you should not just put everyone in a box, that is myopic and primitive, to say the least. The country you revere so much and see as a shining light respects the right of every human being, even felons. It is sad you did not learn that part. Good luck to you as well. TWoods: 3 Likes |

sirRiddy: So if someone rapes your child, they would still deserve respect? My friend, please stop the insincere nonsense. I'm glad you acknowledge that the US respects the rights of every human. Does your country do the same? Here again is where you expose your insincerity, if you respected the rights of others, you would not lie on visa interviews neither would you support fraud. 17 Likes |

austino677: No mind all those "Americanas" u need to see how some of them have washed the same Frank down on this thread. Just that just*wise hid many comments. They complain about racist, but when they get there they become worse than racists to their fellow Nigerians. Not all of them though. But we have many of them 2 Likes |

TWoods: All your points does not hold water. If you have any issue with Nigeria,go back home, join a political party, become the party presidential candidate, run an aggressive campaign, tell us your manifesto and if you win, change things for good or make Nigeria like America. Stop coming here to insult us because some people commit offence or lie. When it comes to humans, dont use sample to judge population. 14 Likes 2 Shares |

signature2012: This is sheer idiocy and you know it. That's the sad part, you know how silly your own "solution" sounds, but its become the rote stuff you guys throw around. As i said before, America can vote for buffoons as president and yet still remain a strong country. What makes a nation is not the president, it is the people themselves. A president can be well meaning, but he can't do anything if he has to lead a population of desperate frauds and incompetent liars. You had plenty of good presidential people run the last time, yet you voted for a cattle rearer with zero experience in governance. Yeah sure, even you would not waste your time running for president. C'mon now... we should be past this type of yawn-inducing stuff. 16 Likes 2 Shares |

Baba park well joor So because someone who is a Nigerian rapes your wife, all Nigerians you meet or hear about are potential rapists. Can you see your folly? You can decide to be patriotic or not, I am not going to hold you for that. What I will not accept is your 2-year-old-like thinking of disparaging others for their nationality or religion or any other kind of affiliation because of what others did. People like you are the problem with America, Nigeria and the world. Your haughtiness stinks to the heavens and you need a reality check. Apparently, you have learned nothing here in America. Just because you have a better standard of living now, the beast in you cannot be tamed again. Yes, many Nigerians are lazy. Many Nigerians are criminals. But so are many other nationalities too including Americans. Also, there are many hardworking and good natured people from Nigeria. Stop this crass display of backwardness and get in line. I really thought you were just passionate but it is obvious you have real issues to deal with. Bigotry and ignorance. TWoods: 26 Likes 2 Shares |

Settling in Some days back, one of my Mum's colleague called and said she was gonna bring her kids over to make their hair. Apparently, my mum made an informal announcement some days back at her work place that we (her kids) are around and her daughters are good hair stylists. SO, they fixed the date (Friday) for to bring her kid to braid her. baba, as friday reach, no be pikin i see o! my mum's colleagues' daughter came with her two friends as well. the girl herself is nigerian (she was born here though), One was mexican and the other one was black american. Her parents dropped them off (after negotiating a fee of $120 for each hair). When they rang bell, na me open door. baba, I didnt even know what to do I just stepped aside for them to walk in, closed the door, offered them sits and went to call my sisters from their room. I just jejely entered my room, laid down, put my earpiece and continued my movie (Sherlock Holmes Season 4). I no know say these ladies dey reason my matter for parlor. Apparently, the ladies were arguing that I acted shy, while my sisters were trying to convince them that Im far from that, that I'm anything but shy. 40 Likes 4 Shares |

After screaming my name from the parlor (I was oblivious of that though, I was on earpiece, remember?), they (my sisters) came and knocked on the door to my room and cunningly convinced me to come to the parlor and gist with them. I obliged. Long story short, I made three new friends that day, they were really lively and fun to be with. I only took the naija girl's number sha (make I start from the one wey I sabi). We've been chatting on whatsapp since, ==================== Earlier today, as some individuals were looking for a way to annoy me, I was in the car (on my way to church), after which I and my family went to eat out. Pictures below We went to McDonald's first, later changed our mind and went somewhere else 18 Likes
