austino677:your best bet is to come here for studies. If you have the zeal, you can do it. There's a lot of scholarships out there. All it takes is proper planning but you still need to spend a lot of money especially with this Buhari's exchange rate 2 Likes |

Arrival at our destination. there's a fish pond (of sorts) at the entrance, If you look closely, you would see some coins at the bottom, apparently, the tradition is you make a wish (speak life into ya coin) then toss it into the fish pond. 6 Likes

CanadianNurse: Ok thank you. If anyone thinks he can track me with my moniker. Na en sabi. Those that sent me PMs, i am sorry I can't revert. I have my personal reasons. God will help us all! Follow your mind, When u get to the states open ur eyes. Many Nigerians will not help u. They will keep telling u it's not easy, bla bla. But will never relocate back to Nigeria. I am talking from experience. 16 Likes |

austino677: I think each house owner is required to take care of the lawns in front of their house. If you leave it unkept and untidy, the govt will cut it for you but you will pay for it These particular houses look small on the outside, but on getting inside, the basements are huge! 20 Likes 2 Shares |

cosade: /. That exactly was my response to the OP who thinks that he is the shiznit because he is paying mortgage in a $300k house in Canada. Even though I pushed the example to the limit, fact is that anyone with the income to build a nice bungalow in Nigeria is better off. But folks are quick to whip out their calculators as if they are making the money abroad but living in Nigeria. A very good example you have by the way. Like I say, if US and Canada demand outright purchase of cars, many people will never own a car in their lifetime. Much of the lifestyle things here is financed: Cars, furniture, electronics, etc. you name it. An average American is drowning in debt. Savings is the biggest challenge no matter the income level. The society thrives on consumer spending. On the flip side, the illusion of "doing well" is what is sustaining repo and foreclosure "ministries". \ 10 Likes 2 Shares |
