Hearty congratulations @koolhunk, all is well that ends well. Hello house, please o, has anyone successfully used cheapflights.com to Australia?, are they authentic, or do their tickets have some kind of restrictions? I am asking this cos I came across the site while hunting for tickets, and their prices seem cheaper than that of IOM, please someone who knows about them should kindly respond. Thank you 1 Like |

cuteannie02:From the gist i heard , it dosent come cheap. The dollars will be converted at the parallel market rate and other hidden charges too. Iom is still the cheapest. When are you planning on moving and to which state? 2 Likes |

cuteannie02: oknee: Gbam!! Please do not bother with those sites. All they do is convert air fares and display them in the official Naira equivalent which is never available to us. What's your date and destination? What is IOM offering you? 2 Likes |

jamson: Even with their official rate being displayed, IOM is still cheaper. IOM issued NGN 356,000 to Sydney this week while they are displaying NGN 365,000. And you can't compare the comfort in flying Emirates to Arik Air. 1 Like |

jamson: Thanks @jamson and oknee, am looking at June /July, destination Melbourne, right now IOM naija is saying seats are sold out till end of September but still telling me to hold on, however IOM Australia offered 1200 USD, but of course the challenge with that option is sourcing for USD. Thanks for your advices abt the site, didn't trust it 100% sounded too good to be true. Any ideas or suggestions are welcome please. |

Hello everyone, I am presently gathering my documents for vetassess assessment. I have payslips for all the years I have worked but my question is how many months bank statement should I send along with the payslips for the assessment ? Your candid responses will be appreciated. |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by cuteannie02: 10:43pm On Feb 10, 2017 |
eaglemaniac: In my opinion, 6months statements should be sufficient, afterall some people don't even submit bank statements and they got positive outcome, you can however add other supporting documentation listed on their site if you have them, better safe than sorry. |

cuteannie02: Which of the IOM Nigeria did you contact because we just got bookings for Sydney this week and the departure date is 2nd week of April. You can mail either of these contacts ... OAJAEGBU@iom.int or oabikoye@iom.int .... I guess you were put on hold because the departure date is still kinda far. 2 Likes |

I think the best thing is to discover what and what are tested at the medicals. Maybe get to Fatayi Williams and ask. No questions on that was asked by immigration. Adewakeup1: 1 Like |

mamaileri: 1. From my wife's experience, I can recommend CA. Her assessment was done in about 20 days. 2. Yes, both can be done together. Just indicate that in the application form, there is a portion for that. 3. Try and obtain your faculty handbook. You should get details of your courses there, especially the one published while you were attending the institution. You can try their library or link up with someone in your faculty. |

mamajaz: ALHAMDULILLAH My EA assessment result returned today after about about 6 weeks. Thanks to Bnimz, Jamson, Mamajaz and every other person here that encouraged me to go fast track. Professional Engineer; Telecommunications Specialist, Skill level 1 Experience; 5 years + 3 months (July 2010-Sept .2013, Oct. 2010 - Nov. 2016) Points so far; Age; 30 Degree; 15 Exp; 10 Total; 55 Meanwhile, English test is dealing with me big time. How I wish they have point for 6.5 (may be 5), I would have just used my first IELTS I'm writing a second IELTS next week. For those having hard time with retrieving their degree transcript, you might not border with EA if you have your notification of results at hand. I only used my Unilag undergraduate notification of result plus their faculty of Engineering prospectus and the rest is history. I supplied transcript for my MSc though. The CO came back on Thursday (9th Feb) asking that I upload my Tax return. Following Rett0's advice, I replied yesterday (10th Feb) that my pension details should suffice according to the MSA booklet. So this morning I found my outcome in my inbox. 4 Likes |

[quote author=Adewakeup1 post=53606161 I will like to know the chances of someone with Hepatitis B being issued visa. cc: all guru in the house [/quote] I remember seeing hep B somewhere on the dipb online medical form filled, yes or no, however at iom, the lady asked if I am going to work as a nurse in aussie, was made to understand that it is a required test for intending nurses if you are not, they don't test u for it. |

jamson: Thanks boss. Na so I think too about PTE o , the thing show me pepper! I did it twice, the highest I had in speaking was 44. I had to run back to IELTS before dem turn me their magga. Meanwhile, I had 6.5/6.5/6.5/7W in my first IELTS, i just thought to try it once more with better preparation perhaps I might get lucky. My take on PTE having given it twice is, once you don't get the strategies to outsmart the computer in place, you will continue to dash dem money ni. 1 Like |
