Well yes and thank you too. I think Iheanacho himself knows best, because he is the one wearing the shoes. The boy should not be pressured either way. If he feels he is improving as a player, he would want to stay barring external pressures. However, at the same time, I'm sure he can learn a thing or two from other coaches as well.

TheGoodJoe:

I honestly want Iheanacho playing. I wish Iheanacho is playing and I have said, I will support the young man if he feels he has learnt enough and wants to leave.

However, if Nacho feels he is becoming a better player and he wants to stay, he has my full support. I admire the discipline of Pep's system.

As I said before, a season or two. If Nacho is not in Pep's plans, I said leave. So I wonder where I did not put the probability of Pep not wanting Nacho in context. I did.

Thank for your smooth reply.

You can see the massive gully in your statement. I doubt Iheanacho has taken up to five freekicks for City and you expect him to take as many freekicks with regular game time. Habaaaaaaaa.

While in training, he can reserve time and keep practising with over a hundred freekicks everyday.

Please read my post well. For one i said he can PRACTICE freekicks so the word practice should have lead u to knowing that i meant in training. For example Rashford was working on freekicks while getting game time. Nothing stops a player from working on his craft even when they are on top of their game. Really the more u play the harder u should train.

He was not as lazy as a bum. He was just not as hard working as the other players. However, before the preseason, Aguero worked hard as hell to get back in shape. That work is the difference. Not leaving it to game time.

Then why was he dropped when the season started again and again and again? Please don't answer if u are only going to run me in circles i don tire.

Humilation of fans to you improves a player more than a player doing high intensity stamina drills? Na wa for you.

Do you know about training conditions at all? Coaches working on the players crosses, shooting techniques, correcting the player when he nods the ball to the right direction. Going over repeated passing drills. Doing ball control sessions to improve first touch.

You can imagine. Referee red card and fan humilation. Hard tackles.

Do you understand teams do skill dribble sessions with a skills trainer?

Kai walahi! You never cease to amuze.

For a player to take part in drills only without game time and for a player to take part in drills and have plenty of game time which do you prefer?

Aguero was not dropped repeatedly. He got suspended repeatedly. The only time he lost his place was Gabriel Jesus arrival.

I have said repeatedly, I want Nacho playing but I am more interested in the work behind-the-scenes. You are asking an already answered question.

I am more interested in the behind-the-scenes work because it is the main ingredient of improvement.

The practice is the most important part. The game time is to test he result. Recently Rashford was on the bench. Worked hard in training and raised his game. When he got a run, we could see he has raised his game. Simple.

The training is the most important.

Funny if you think those 90 minutes games do more than the hours spent on the training pitch.

Answer a simple question and do not zap.

Do you think a regular player in a club like Arsenal who is lazy in training and does not maintain a healthy lifestyle.

Will do better than a player of the same age and ability who has Cristiano Ronaldo's work ethic and lifestyle when he gets a run?

Chai! Na wa. See question.

How can any professional player be lazy in training in the first place.

See, you are just compounding matters on this issue for your self.
What kind of answer are you expecting from such a ridiculous question. Abeg I no fit laugh again.

So your believe is that only Pep conducts drills for players. And only pep's players are hardworking in training . Hian. Oh.

TheGoodJoe, I know you are more knowledgeable about football more than this. So what is happening?

So when do we get to watch him?

When he is passed his prime? His mates are already making big statements. I will even be going too far to compare him with 21 yrs old Ronaldo and Messi. At 21 Kanu, Martins, Yakubu and Utaka were already painting Europe red. Iheanacho will be 21 this year and he is practicing drills only.

How I wish we have a quality and more experienced striker I would not have been this worried.

You are literally not making a coherent point. The point is so simple.

Guardiola has one of the most intense training session in football. We just watched Manchester United have one of their worst possession in history. This is due to the intensity of Manchester City.

So saying every coach construct drills is totally missing the point.

Also we are talking which is more important. Is it the playing time or training time. It is also basic knowledge, it is the training time.

Playing time shows the result of the training time.

If you agree a basic fact that the training is more important, we can move on.

For you asking if a professional player can be lazy in training means that you have missed a lot.

It happens a lot.

All this long story does not show how Iheanacho's running got defenders confused and gave Moses room to shine. As for Tello and Cuenca, the lessons from Guardiola and the La Masia academy made them better players than they were. Raised their level. It does not mean any player must become World class under the condition.

Guardiola's training will not turn Delph to Xavi but it definitely made Delph a better player. Comprende?

And Guardiola s training is the only means delph can become a better player Ce nes pas comprende
For your information Moses always makes those driving runs every time he plays for eagles sometimes it results to goals like against Ethiopia in afcon even against Egypt where he struck d bar, Moses skinned Algeria because he is in mad form and has been playing consistently while iheanacho could only make imaginary runs seen by a few people as result of drilling, would you attest his Chelsea form to iheanacho s movement.
Delph has always been a good player and for pellegrini every match he played he was excellent. So if iheanacho scores a hatrick against south Africa you will say the drilling has worked, the kid is a class act and all class acts like him get to play or at least make the bench( mbappe, dembele, Rashford,) look at Zaha he is a target for City he stepped out of fergusons drilling house made a name for himself and now the top clubs want him same for lukaku, de bruyne, Deoleofeo, Munir, e.t.c.I am not saying move to any club, players move to clubs and they make demands that they have to be in the first team before they move or observe the clubs project he needs to get that,
Wake me up when "Le Driller" improves bravo who was very good for barca.

FC Porto Chidera Ezeh Fires Brace For League Champions To End Season On A High

Former Nigeria youth international Chidera Ezeh showed his prolific side in front of goal once again with a brace for second division champions Portimonense in their 3-3 draw against Leixoes.

Ezeh joined Portimonense from league giants FC Porto in the summer but as exclusively reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, the deal has been converted into a co-ownership deal with Portimonense having 60% if his economic rights.

19 year old Ezeh scored his first senior goal two weeks ago to fire Portimonense to a 2-1 win over Deportivo Aves, after putting aside the numerous injury worries that has slowed down his progress.

Highly rated for his dribbling and shooting abilities, he has 11 appearances to his name this season, coming on as a substitute in seven of the games he has played this season.

His future for now appears to be away from Porto, the team he joined as a 16 year old, with Portimonense, who have just been promoted to the top division in Portugal after finishing as champions of the second division keen on holding on to him.

World Exclusive: Man City Offer Borussia Dortmund Iheanacho In Deal To Sign Aubameyang

According to information gathered by allnigeriasoccer.com , Nigeria international Kelechi Iheanacho may continue his professional career in the German Bundesliga next season.

English Premier League powerhouse Manchester City are prepared to offer Kelechi Iheanacho to Borussia Dortmund as a a sweetener in the proposed deal to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the Etihad Stadium.

With the Gabon star valued in the region of €70 million by Borussia Dortmund, City will use Iheanacho as makeweight in the deal to sign him and initial talks are understood to have taken place.

The Taye Academy product is confirmed to be on the radar of other German clubs, including Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen.

The 20-year-old Iheanacho has found game time hard to come by since this year started and an exit from Man City in the coming months is not out of topic.

The Citizens would prefer to sell the Nigerian to a foreign club, rather than their rivals in the Premier League.

World Exclusive: Celtic Hoping To Beat FC Copenhagen, AIK To NPFL Goal Machine Odey

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Scottish champions Celtic have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer Stephen Odey in the summer transfer market.

The Mountain of Fire FC sensation is edging towards a move to the United Kingdom, with The Bhoys sending him an official letter of invitation for medical evaluation.

Celtic termed it 'medial evaluation', but it is thought Odey will only be offered a contract if he impresses the coaching staff during trials.

A deal will not be easy for Celtic, however, as the 19-year-old is attracting concrete interest from Swedish club AIK Stockholm and a top scout from FC Copenhagen is in contact with his entourage.

Stephen Odey has scored 14 goals for MFM and is one of the home based players being considered for a training camp in Corsica ahead of the national team's African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.

More news on Odey..... wonder who will get our rising home lad... pray he gets a great deal. He is one of our rising pearls. If this Russia deal is actually true... then I can only wish him the best.... All Nigeria soccer reports interests from Celtic and a few Scandinavian clubs....

World Exclusive – NPFL Top Scorer Odey Off To Russia To Complete Transfer To FC Krasnodar

The top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League Stephen Odey has accepted an offer from Russian side FC Krasnodar, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Odey received the offer few weeks ago, and it came with flight tickets, accommodation and medical expenses, plus full details of the contract he is expected to sign after undergoing medicals with the team currently placed 4th on the log in Russia.

A confirmation of Odey’s impending transfer was later confirmed by owngoalnigeria.com sources in Russia, including a club source who spoke to us on the condition of anonymity.

Already the MFM forward has submitted his passport to the Russian Embassy for visa process to commence, a move which knocked him out of the Super Eagles camping exercise in France as he couldn’t attend visa interview with the French Embassy.

The scorer of 14 goals in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) is expected to arrive Russia next week, where if all goes according to plan, a deal will be formally announced by the team.

Known for his pace and goal scoring abilities, FK Krasnodar sent a direct contract proposal to MFM FC, which was accepted by his manager who has long insisted that the forward won’t attend trials.

Already he turned down trial opportunities with Belgian side Gent and Russian top flight side FC Rostov, and was deep in talks with some North African teams before the offer from FK Krasnodar came.
