Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Shown First Straight Red Card Of His Pro Career

Kenneth Omeruo was sent off in Alanyasspor's 3-0 loss to Kayserispor in the Turkish Super Lig on Saturday.

The Chelsea loanee took the walk of shame in the 45th minute for a foul on Brazilian striker Welliton, who would have been in a clear goalscoring position if he had not been brought down by the Nigerian defender.

The talk leading up to today's game at the Kadir Has Sehir Stadium was for Omeruo to avoid a caution as he was on the brink of another suspension by the Turkish Federation, having accumulated three more yellow cards.

Previously, Omeruo had been dismissed two times in his professional career while defending the colours of ADO Den Haag and Middlesbrough but he received two yellow cards in both matches before he was sent off.

The Super Eagle made his 23rd appearance of the season against Kayserispor.

So you are simply implying having the highest intensity does not necessarily translate to being the best.

CHECK MATE!

At a high intensity at a young age. I did not say Guardiola is the Holy grail for Nacho. I admire Guardiola's ways and Nacho's age now, he needs it. It is you guys that go around sounding Lord Guardiola to throw digs.

Not me. I give my reasons why.

If Nacho leaves City, I still want him training under a high intensity. That is why when he comes to camp, his fitness and stamina gets good reviews. While you think playing time will do the magic.

I see people talking Pellegrini. They do not know Pellegrini's sides fall deep when they lose the ball. That was why a player like Riquelme had it easy under Pellegrini but found it difficult under Van Gaal.

A player groomed under a high intensity system will adapt to both styles but a player who trains under just a light system will not survive a high intensity coach.

The irony is that the so called Kayode also missed an easy chance but hey, it is good. He is playing regularly. Do you see the big whole in this train of thought?

As Kayode is now, take him to City and make Guardiola pick his striker. Kayode will not have a chance. But, hey he is playing regularly.

As I said, all these regular talk is just an excuse to drop the better player on the bench.

Rohr is taking the players to camp. He will watch them closely and select the best players. Let me see your el regularitos be stronger, faster, more stamina and better conversion rate.

you keep on mentioning that miss, but it wasn't even a great chance! You also forgot that Kayode had a hand in that penalty that your 'drill-boy' put away.

Now this is not a swipe at Nacho but terzurum5 gets the whole idea, Kayode should be starting our next game for me, he is a workaholic(probably presses more than Nacho), and his link-up play isn't bad, that doesn't mean he is better than Nacho but regular playing time is going to give him the advantage

Until, we start paying our players good wages, players will be looking for how to get out.

Russian league is a good start but I would have preferred Western Europe. Hopefully, he can light up the league and get a better move.

It is not about salary. This player is young and at the top of his game. It is obvious that he is outgrowing the NPFL so it is wise for him to move on. I just hope this is the very best deal on the table and he is not jumping too soon. He already turned down a club from Russia.

World Exclusive: Celtic Hoping To Beat FC Copenhagen, AIK To NPFL Goal Machine Odey

Allnigeriasoccer.com has been informed that Scottish champions Celtic have set the ball rolling in their bid to sign Nigerian Professional Football League top scorer Stephen Odey in the summer transfer market.

The Mountain of Fire FC sensation is edging towards a move to the United Kingdom, with The Bhoys sending him an official letter of invitation for medical evaluation.

Celtic termed it 'medial evaluation', but it is thought Odey will only be offered a contract if he impresses the coaching staff during trials.

A deal will not be easy for Celtic, however, as the 19-year-old is attracting concrete interest from Swedish club AIK Stockholm and a top scout from FC Copenhagen is in contact with his entourage.

Stephen Odey has scored 14 goals for MFM and is one of the home based players being considered for a training camp in Corsica ahead of the national team's African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.

Odey, remaining for me to beg you. Go and work with Rodgers in camp. Even if you do not make it, you will leave a better player in that short time. A lot of tactical drills that will expand your knowledge of the game. Go for the so called medial evaluation.

There is no way Kayode gets the nod ahead of Iheanacho.... Unless Nacho is injured. For now, It is that simple. I wonder why people just can't separate the lines......

Iheanacho is a beast when it comes to pressing high up front and contributing to our linkup plays... Kayode has nothing on Iheanacho in these aspects and more... This is the Super Eagles arena now..... can't they see that?

Ever since Kayode was small, his workrate has always been his strongest point. He runs for 90 mins straight, I remember watching his Europa League games and some of his recent league games. He is faster than Nacho by the way.

But let me ask, when was the last time you watched Kayode's games? 10 months ago? Tbaba will give you a better definition of the type of player he is, name does not play football, form does

when Iheanacho was playing in the U17 he hardly pressed, from his U17 Kayode has been a born 'presser', you need to watch him more.
