Please can someone respond!
From people's experience and testimonies here, it's easier to gather 20 points from PTE-A than IELTS.

In my opinion mate, you're eligible now , but won't be by October.

If I may ask, why do you wish to wait till October before applying?
You can get the visa now, and travel when you're ready.
It's cheaper and involves a less tedious process to get.

The 476 visa may not be as attractive as the 189, but it surely has its benefits.
The most significant being application requirements and processing time and cost.
Those who don't have the huge amount of processing 189 can take advantage of 476 to migrate down to Oz and work to save for their PR.
It can also be used to have an idea or experience of Australia as a country and help you decide if it's a place for you.

I won't encourage you to delay securing this visa before July as many who did now regret that; unless of course you've gone far with processing 189.

Also, please try to always do some research yourself to corroborate information from others.
It'd surely save you a lot, and doesn't take much. Refer to the link below for detailed info:

https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa-1/476-

I'm currently in Oz on 476, and I recall posting detailed info on the visa when I first started following this thread.
But I'm happy to provide more should you need further info.

Hi to all d EA gurus, Is it possible to stop ungoing EA assessment that is not yet assigned to assessor, I want to change my assessment from PE to associate & probably need 2 write 1or 2 career episode to align with d new change? Anybody with info, pls help 2 attend to dis.
Thanks.
Why do you want to change from PE to Associate? I believe you have written the career episodes to tally with PE to the best of your knowledge and if EA feels you are not qualified for that, you will be contacted to seek your opinion before they change it to lesser qualification say Engineering Tech or associate or you will be asked to submit another sets of career episode.

Zany.

Hello friends,

Come and rejoice with me as my EA assessment outcome letter returned positive this morning.

Standard application submitted :09/02/2017

Occupation : Professional Chemical Engineer

Application fast tracked: 14/04/2017

Additional information requested by assessor :25/04/2017

Requested information submitted : 6/05/2017

Outcome letter received :08/05/2017

All thanks to catchwindfrmkd who helped me proof read my career episodes and professional summary statement. You are awesome bros. God bless you.

I also appreciate bellong and mactowel1 for providing solutions to the information requested by my assessor. Your suggestions worked like magic.

@majiouk2002, thanks for your suggestion.I went to unilag but the Hod refused to issue a letter to explain the content and length of my Msc programme. He said EA should contact them directly if they are interested in knowing about these. I took the bull by the horn by explaining everything myself and it worked perfectly for me as my Msc was also recognised by EA.

Adesolami36 thank you too smiley smiley smiley

It's PTE turn now. May God help me and all of us in our quest to migrate to Australia.

I am in Australia at the moment, I have few week left to bring my wife here. I have very important urgent question to ask you regarding my pregnant wife in Nigeria if only you can assist and put me through. I will appreciate swift response. Thanks.

What visa are you on?

If your wife medicals will include an X-ray, ishe can't come now until after she delivers.

No meaningful hospital will subject her to an X-ray because of the foetus.

hello everyone. Please i need you advice.

I have lodged my application for visa 189 and recently got an offer of admission for a research degree. Also, I had answered "yes" to question 39 of form 1221. Can anyone please advise if attaching the offer letter will aid or hinder my visa 189 application?

Thanks

It will not add anything to your application. You didn't state the question in no 39 though.

Your case is not strange. Some people do get the mail to alert them which team is processing their application. My brother got it and he was a single applicant. His grant was out less than a wk after, so do not panic.
