Obigirl: Check Northern Territory's website for conditions attached to being sponsored as a cafe/restaurant manager. I know the state is in high demand of hospitality workers especially restaurant managers because they are holding recruitment information sessions in Adelaide, Perth and Hobart for hospitality workers. Read vetasses website too. The restaurant being registered should give you an edge. You only need to package the application well. Goodluck 2 Likes |

Jbelieve:You have been well answered. In addition this, recall I mentioned that only EA accepts student field experience. So regardless of whether or not you are are claiming work points, our dear wahalaish Vetassess requires no less than 1 year post qualification (related) work experience to even consider your application 1 Like |

OzyMigrant: They just got back to us some days ago but didn't uphold our appeal. They said to be assessed as an Associate, he must have graduated from a vocational school. They listed about 3 courses he must have taken. They said his degree is comparable to AQF of a Bachelor degree. So we are patiently waiting for the system to reset in July. |

^^^ why do you want to be assessed as an associate? |

bellong:Is it advisable to do assessment with Vettasses now or should wait till July when changes will be made on Occupations cos of points required in IELTS.Thank you cc @bellong. |

Daddyk2007: If EA say B, who are we to Say Q. Kindly adhere to EA guidelines. which is easier is debatable, however most people here lean towards PTE 2 Likes |

Daddyk2007: You must take the English test first. It is a requirement for EA. TOEFL is computer based and IELTS is paper based (Reading & Listening tests are objective questions, Writing test comprise of handwritten essays while the speaking test is a face to face interview with your examiner). The choice is yours as to which is easier - whichever works for you. You can check for materials online to make your comparison. Goodluck! |

Hello house, please i am not pursuing PR but i will be in Sydney for abt 2 weeks in October for a conference and i will really like suggestion on hotel, transportation etc. Do you advise i stay in a hotel in CBD Sydney (closer to the conference venue) or u suggest outskirts/suburbs that i can stay that are cheaper and i wont incur cost on transportation. Plsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss |
Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by baenoz(f): 5:07pm On Jun 02, 2017 |
stepo707: It's all about knowing the tips and tricks of either exam. Some people say it's easier to nail your 20points with PTE. Though the speaking for PTE can be frustrating, you can ace it only if you can speak in the accent the computer understands. IELTS on the other hand has its own style. It can be preferred if your thoughts flow better while writing on pen and paper than typing on the keyboard. Also if you prefer speaking to a human being than a robot. It takes longer time from booking the exam to seeing your result - maybe up to 2months, whereas PTE can be booked like 2days before and your result is out in a few days. |

Re: General Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa Through Skilled Migration. by sunvick(m): 6:09pm On Jun 02, 2017 |
Unfortunately, it not possible to do so. the only possibility if rewriting it to attain the required score. gbengaolu360: |
