OlugbengaE:its stupidity being online and wasting time without making money. where i come from, time is money. i will rather be online and driving for 45 hrs, and make 75k than be online idling and making 60k. i no come lagos to count bridge. when i call them lazy now they'll start crying. |

alstarmayo:thats bevause i am not lazy like you are. being on a target is good. it's stupidity to use another guy "being on a target" as an excuse for your incompetencies and inadequacies. with my work rate i'll be a billionaire before you. your only excuse will be "he is on a target" kontunu 1 Share

alstarmayo:now, let me finally fall your hand, you taxify slave. lets do some maths here. hope your brain will be sharp enough if you did 36 trips in 45 hrs that means you did 36 trips in 2,700mins (45 × 60). i did 78 trips in 63hrs 44 mins or 3,824 mins. divide 3824 mins by 78 trips = 1 trip every 49 mins. therefore if i did 36 trips = 36 x 49 which gives us 36 trips in 1764 mins. converting 1764 mins to hrs will be = 29 hrs. in conclusion, you were online for 45 hrs drove 36 trips, and made 61k i was online for 29hrs, did 36 trips and made 48k i was online for 45hrs, did 55 trips and made 75k slaves you are and slaves you will continue to be. see them calling romeo stupid and being on a target when in fact they are the real fools. i no dey una league. henceforth i will stop responding to you pathetic taxify morons. cheers. 2 Likes 1 Share |

alstarmayo: hahaha. now i am insulting. read up pls and see the insults directed at me while you cheered before i exposed your ignorance. oh you now do taxify part time and having other business to attend to? didnt you say it's because i was on a target that i drove for long hours? but now i have exposed you to be the one driving long hours aimlessly and you are getting emotional? next time you want to quote me or argue with me on this thread, come with facts and dont make up facts from thin air to mislead the public. you think because i drive uber i am dumb? i think you and your fellow taxify musketeers actually underestimate how smart i am. i drive with sense. i drive with a purpose. i calculate before i decide. i do not follow the bandwagon. learn that today. appearances can be deceiving. cheers 7 Likes 1 Share |

Romeo3: Romeo3, as much as I admire you & your strategy, sometimes you go overboard. For others: Uber brought a model that one can use to make money. Anytime their model stops giving you money, stop partnering with them but don't antagonise those that are satisfied with it. I don't understand why people don't want Romeo3 to make his personal choices. He makes money where it can be made. If he goes offline to make #100k then you guys should understand he's not an Uber stooge. He is ready to use taxify, ogataxi or any other as long as they put money in his pocket but he can't abandon Uber because somebody else says so. I'm launching soon & will follow Romeo3 model. If a guy wants to work 24hrs a day & he's blessed with a body to support it, this is a free world, it shouldn't be someone else's headache. Work at your pace & get what you deserve. I guess that's what Uber & the guys are about. Romeo3, keep on keeping up. Use your energy to your advantage now that you can & pay less attention to those who hate your guts. 4 Likes |

You can't just exonerate romeo3. He is either a representative of uber here or an outright fool. We stated from the beginning that this new Uber attitude is anti partners. He called us names. He abused Taxify and vow never to register on Taxify calling those on Taxify, uber rejects. Now is it not clear that Uber is greedy and care less about their partners. People who under normal circumstances will not necessarily invest in transport business did so because of Uber and now uber is ruining their investments. He made Taxify a no option for newbies and now he's talking about joining Taxify. In 2015 people bought virtually new cars for Uber now they will compete with 2000 cars. It's only in Nigeria people dont talk about working hours.Your health is not just about you alone it has effect on others. If you overwork and fatigued, you could sleep off on steering have accident and kill yourself or others. Its called Health Safety and Environment(HSE) or Occupational Health. To newbies who still want to go ahead register on all the apps and be online on all of them. Dont listen to Romeo3 sermon about taxify. You can have all the apps running at the same time. Cheers. There is no need to debate how much can be earned by Uber, if you tell me how much Uber charges passengers per mile I can give a good estimate on maximum that could be earned in a hour, day or month. 1 Like |

Assume Uber charges passengers N100 per mile, lets assume Uber driver has no family life so is online 15 hours per day. Assume the average speed of traffic is 20 miles per hour How much does the car depreciate per year, how much is insurance, how much is maintenance, how much taxi licence if required by state govnt? Maximum hourly rate an Uber driver can make if he were to have a passenger in his car for the entire time is N100 per mile x 20miles per hour = N2000 per hour, but reality is drivers are likely to have passengers for greater than 30% of their time online. So reality is that an Uber driver's hourly rate on the busiest day is unlikely to exceed 0.3x N2000 per hour =N600 per hour. After paying Uber 25%, driver's maximum hourly rate is 0.75x N600 per hour = N450 per hour Assume total of 6miles driven every hour on average as it is necessary to do some driving with no passengers Assume each mile driven costs N25 in fuel So every hour costs driver 6miles x N25 per mile = N150 in fuel. So maximum hourly rate of an Uber driver becomes N450 -N150 = N300 per hour after taking account of fuel. Taking into account maintenance accounts for N10 per hour, Rental at N400 per hour means maximum Uber driver can make per hour is N300-N410= -N110 per hour That's right Uber drivers are actually paying Uber N110 per hour for the privilege of driving, so the more hours they drive the more money they lose. Did any body follow my calculations that shows that far from making any money Uber driver loses N110 for every hour he works. I bet there is a high turn over of Uber drivers. GenBuhari: 1 Like |
