Congratulations dear! You're right, the pain is mostly in the mind. I must confess hsg wasn't as bad as I had heard. I had seen worse. It was the sight of the instruments that terrified me, I cried like a baby when they were putting it in. But at the second hsg, I acted more 'mature.'

Opks work just fine and are quite reliable. It's just that the most reliable way to be sure you ovulate is through transvaginal scan. But it's expensive to do that every month. So once you've confirmed that you ovulate through tvs, you can use opk in subsequent cycles.

Clearblue digital is quite straightforward. Predicte is also good but you'll have to read it correctly. The second line has to be as dark as the control line to indicate the LH surge which shows that ovulation is about to happen.

Sorry about the pains, i think it is after effect of the HSG. I did my own 14th of the month and i kpekus on 18th, the next morning i was just working like duck cos i was feeling serious pains and with time everything came back to normal.

To me it's expensive joo. And u have to use a lot to catch it especially if u are not regular. It didn't help me this month. I eventually had to rely on cervical mucus and basal temperature charting.

It's possible to get an infection after HSG. Doctors normally give antibiotics after it. We're u given?

Sorry to sound too spirikoko but sis, you are living in fornication (even though u plan to marry it's still fornicating) so why would u expect God to speak to you concerning this issue. God is far from sin and who commits it remember? My opinion is I think u should chill from ttc and this marriage thing for a while and focus on building ur spiritual life you are putting the cart before the horse. Marriage is a journey like none u can imagine and you are better off starting it with a strong relationship with God. I wish I knew God this intimately when I entered my first marriage, firstly I would never have met exhubby or even dated him if I were a spirit filled holy Christian as birds of a feather flock together and the years of pain I went through would not have been experienced.
