TheSuperNerd: Went for an aerial ball from a cross a misjudged it, luckily the defenders cleared, could have been a tap in. Second was suppose to be a routine catch, but pushed it directly to the attack line. You make these basic errors with top teams, you get punished. |

From our last game... Some observation on individual lapses of some of our players. EZENWA: he was rarely tested. But will want him to be a bit outspoken and control his territory. SHEHU: he lacks the confidence to cross. ECHIEJILE: lacks confidence too, poor positioning and decision making. NDIDI: Lacks pass accuracy and gives away possession easily. VICTOR MOSES & SIMON MOSES: Slow in decision makings. IHEANACHO: That boy needs a special trainer to work on his right foot. Can't use his right foot. I hope Rohr and his video analyst must have dissected our last match and informed the players on necessary corrections. |

So only one aerial ball that got loosed was all you saw abi? What about all the aerial balls he caught, won and handled beautifully? What about the sweet stop/catch he made from Anguissa's top drive to the left bottom corner of Ezenwa's goal? Ezenwa made a game high 16 recoveries and most of them were aerial balls won and you say he was shaky?? Sir.. go and watch that game again. Even Ezenwa's first aerial save brought a handshake out of Aboubakar... his confidence was wicked. The aerial ball he spilled was due to unavoidable interference... Apart from that he had no trouble at all dealing with such even in the face of Aboubakar's and Ngadeu's heights... he was brave. And for the other shot he had to catch twice... that was from Fai on the right Wing... Fai's shot took a sharp bend and was almost finding the last angle of Ezenwa's bottom left corner but Ezenwa got down well to keep it out even though he had to handle it twice because of the tight angle of the curve of Fai's shot. But all through... Ezenwa showed great grip and handles of the ball.... he even fooled Aboubakar in a neuer-like manner... right from his days at Ocean Boys FC in 2007/2008, He has always been a keeper that loves to display confidence and showboat with a smile on his face. But is he a good goalie? Yes. he is. FabioPeter: 5 Likes |

On Iheanacho, you have a good point... even as he perfects his left... he could build his right too.... There was a chance he had and was supposed to shoot with the right but because he is left footed he couldn't and had to guard the ball with his left and find a pass to Moses I think.... this was before his beautiful sweet combo plays with Victor moses sef.... If Iheanacho's right can be almost half as food as his left... then that will make him even far deadlier than he already is... lol AIG07: |

For now... he will man goal against Cameroun. He is not world class material but is certainly good and loves to take risks too. I trust Pionetti and Rohr will tell him to reduce his risk taking but it was great seeing a confident goalie for once. We have suffered with Akpeyi for about three games now.... he always concedes... it is a given. But with Ezenwa and kudos to the defence pair of Balogun and Ekong too, we did not concede in a long while. Now this pair was also present against Algeria with Akpeyi and we still conceded... go figure. FabioPeter: 1 Like |

The job is almost done, I am looking at the WC finals, just like Rohr opined we need Eyeama back in the team. Ezenwa can't get the required exposure he needs before the WC. TheSuperNerd: 1 Like |

I saw a clip on twitter on Enyeama's progress with his right knee... he seems to be working hard to get back into shape... I reckon that by Year end or January he will be back... Enyeama will return but Only if he can get himself a club by January according to Gernot Rohr. Ikeme is also still in the picture if he can return early enough from his health setback. So for now... Ezenwa it is. Followed by Alampasu is who making progress in Portugal. And ofcos Ajiboye is there and The not-so-reliable Akpeyi. Outside these we have David Nwokolor at Rijeka too. The situation is what it is... but Ezenwa seems better than Akpeyi confidence-wise and handles-wise. FabioPeter: 2 Likes |

FabioPeter:Me didn't see any showboating o o o. I only saw an happy man who grew with confidence with every save... Someone reported it here that he was just busy smiling while the team was filing out. Whereas Moses was just boning face. Abeg free the guy. If we have another clean sheet tomorow, expect him to be in goal in our subsequent matches even if eyeama is back. 2 Likes |

Cameroon Star Siani : Two Defeats Against Nigeria, Something Has To Be Done Speaking at a press conference on Sunday, K.V. Oostende midfielder Sébastien Siani says the Indomitable Lions are targeting a win in tomorrow's World Cup qualifier against Nigeria in Yaounde. Siani was in the Cameroon squad that were humiliated 3-0 by the Super Eagles in a friendly staged in Belgium in October 2015, and also made the starting XI in their 4-0 loss to the West African powerhouse on Friday. ''For me, it has been two defeats against Nigeria. But they are totally different. The first was a friendly game, and Friday was an important game and something has to be done,'' Siani told reporters, including camfoot.com. ''Unfortunately, we could not manage the game. It is a defeat of the whole team, which allowed us to know our level and to know that to win a match, we must do it together. ''Individuality, does not make a match, but with the group, we can go further. We did not play at our level. Everyone was doing their own thing, we were no longer in a team. '' Added Siani : ''We went along like sheep going to the slaughterhouse, and it did not favour us. We are very aware of what happened. ''We were not good. We are really disappointed with the result. But we must not remain there to weep. We are indomitable Lions, and we must show another face.'' Meanwhile, Stoke City striker Eric-Maxim Choupo-Moting has been ruled out of Monday's game after picking up an injury in the first leg in Uyo. **Igho Kingsley Source: http://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=24492 |
