I was one of those that criticized Keshi for the inclusion of Michael Okechukwu Uchebo in that team. I knew Uchebo right from when he played at the 2009 AYC. He never had a flouring career up till when Keshi called him up for the 2014 WC. So I wasn't expecting anything from him post 2014 WC.

The player I even had some glitter of hope on was Ejike Uzoenyi considering his obvious abilities. But how Ejike's career hit the rocks in the PSL is still shocking.

What do you call a player that struggled in Europe over his first 5-7 seasons and then started scoring goals all of a sudden? And then went on a goals draught also all of a sudden? Odion Ighalo was a flash in the pan there bro.

Same goes for Emmanuel Emenike.

When last did Ighalo score for Nigeria before the Cameroon game? I will not be shocked if Ighalo resumes on his Super Eagles goals draught (God forbid though).

I personally had issues with so many of Keshi's players selections. Rohr is a lot different and I think I have agreed with him to a 98% extent.

Oga u always distort facts when it comes to Ighalo. He is a legend in Granada but u are saying he struggled for all these years. How old is Ighalo that he could struggle for up to 7 years in Europe? The question should be when last did he play for Nigeria? Fact is that he was only on a 1 match scoreless streak if we can call it that, last goal was against Luxemburg and he didn't score against Tanzania.

Prio to the Luxemburg game which you know was just a walk in the pack he last scored against Chad under Keshi if I am not mistaking.

Yea am one of d people that criticised him for poor showing against SA and if i may ask u,did he had a good game against SA?

No doubt d guy is young,promising and have great future ahead.Thank God he was able to get a club who believed in him and he hasn't disappoint,making team of d week is a plus for him and should keep it up.Hope he replicate d good form in eagles colour.

The other day some one was making a case that Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Dele Ajiboye ought to have been introduced into the Super Eagles long before now. I asked who were our 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice goalies when Ezenwa and Ajoboye were coming up? Answer: Enyeama, Ejide, Ayenugba. Were Ezenwa and Ajiboye near the trio then?

Opportunity to perform mostly lies on the availability of the opportunity. If you are good and there a people who are better the availability of the opportunity may not be there.

Let us see Adeleye and Eze again in CHAN in January and then we re-asses them.

Truly amazing. The way guys came for his head post-South Africa made me shake my head. Ofcos, he struggled in that game but his quality remains.... that was his first baptism of fire. They have forgotten so soon that this lad broke into FC Porto's first team and also played against Porto's biggest rivals, Benfica and came out in flying colors.

Truth is he was always bound to make some mistakes or struggle as all young players will do but I knew he will bounce back stronger because of his undeniable innate quality and also hardwork on his part. Awaziem is a future top defender and has the potentials to be one of Africa's leading "Backmen" (aka center backs) in the long run. He can only get better with time and age. Really hope he keeps to this path of his beautiful evolution into something great. Keep soaring lad.

To me, i think the standard of the Nigerian league has really dropped, as the best players in the country are not playing in the league.

Check out our performance in contiental competitions lately, its been very abysmal, most of the players in the league are old men hardly will you find a 23 year old player in the league..

i have watched both eze and adeleye closely i think they are not up to par, when push comes to shove i'm not sure they can stand the test of times.perfect example is ejike uzoenyi who shone like a million stars during then chan but what happened when the real test came?
