See ehn, offense is great but defense plays a bigger role. Your best player can't put up 40 points every game. Mbanu Those small small players that are their team's best defenders can really change a winning formula. I saw it with Marcus Smart and Celtics struggles during that period, also with Jazz when Gobert was out. I'm seeing it in Thunder too. Na just this Jazz-Pelicans game dey make me talk this thing. If a team can't defend something as basic as the pick and roll they have no business being in the league. This is just embarrassing. The only way this team comes out the east is if LeBron puts them on his back and even then I'm not sure its going to be enough this time. Love Osman hood etc out but still no excuse for the shambolic way this team is playing. Painful to watch. |
