I can't believe folks here are now in agreement with the school of thought that "Victor Moses is not only an Integral member of this team but also an undisputable weapon of mass destruction Rohr and S. Eagles possess for now". This is a great development.

That is you and not Rohr.

Onazi is a starter in Rohr's team. So how can it be a surprise if Onazi starts ahead of Ogu.
I think Onazi has no too strong grip on a starting shirt any linger. I really hope Ogu overthrows him.

By the way, I hope Mikel's injury isn't serious. I totally blame Rohr for fielding him yesterday.

Why do you think so?

in the first place i never impugned your beliefs, you got into the issue casting unfounded aspersions on me and that was needless cos i will ask you again: what are my views on the exclusion of kayode and the inclusion of Nwakali in the 35 man list? i do not expect an answer but for the record let me say it that it was low of you to make that statement. i got to tell you.

I am not concerned about your views about Kayode and Nwakali because I can't recall any. Several people have shared their views on it here.

But I will advice you again to return to your analysis and quit being an advocate.

hmmm... Of a truth I'm not Rohr, but it's obvious both players are presently not on thesame level form-wise.

On the wings or on the bench?

So many pages exhausted on discussing gibberish.... SMH.

I expect this Thread to be so lively like its Christmas Period at this moment for God's sake.

The second to the Final List is out, we get a Friendly Game against the 3 Lions on Saturday; Yet we are still discussing why Taiye Taiwo is younger than his Twin-Brother in Age.

Can we at least move on from the freaking, unending. Provocative Topic we've been discussing since?! Forget Players outside the List, let's start discussing and analyzing the present Squad fairly and objectively pls.

who are those average and below par players in our squad
Jarus:
Moses, Mikel, Iwobi, Ndidi and Iheanacho in that order are the players we are relying on in this tournament.

Mikel hardly has a bad game in SE jersey.

I'm just hoping the other teams don't capitalize on other average and below average players we have

So apart from Moses and Mikel (neither of whom compares JJ), who else is "irreplaceable" here?

Dude without Iheanacho, Iwobi and Ndidi, Nigeria would not have qualified for this world cup.

Remember when they started the 2nd stage of the journey, it was either Cameroon and Algeria that was picked to advance from the group of death.

The reason why Rohr will most likely stick with his boys.

Oga, let's go back to analysing football. All those Nwakali, Kayode, Nepotism and corruption talks are just mare distractions.

The right wing now should be between Iwobi and Musa

no yawa.

i am currently watching nigeria v poland friendly. defense seem to be the thing that characterizes our game now. we are described as the counter attacking team. the ball is played in our pitch. we dont control the game. when did we start playing this kind of football?

We are used to attacking football that is why we thought the Poland game was bad. I watched it again and we played pretty well especially defensively.

Well, I will say it plays that way mostly when Mikel is not on the pitch.

I will qualify your statement with one question ❓ Do you get into Chelsea because you are mediocre.

Our site called top defender, Omeruo how many games did he play for Chelsea.
God bless you bro....
for a player to come all the way from academy had some few minutes in Chelsea main team play prior his loan move...captained England under 19 and played in the under 17,16 team...
is not a fluke.... the lad still has a promising future compare to elderson.

Joel, balogun, Tyrone, Onazi, Musa, Aina, Ekong, Etebo, simmy. These are guys playing consistently for their club week in week out in some of the best leagues in the world. What's your criteria for terming them average. However, yes they are not outstanding but they are not average.

but if you recollect in the friendly against argentina even with mikel we were on the backfoot in the first half. only that our counter attacking forays that day were highly effective.
