I doubt that.

Obe thing is clear Tega doesn't fall over at the slightest physical confrontation like some with two left feet.

Umar is faster, more direct and will create more chances.

Tammy has a better control and is a better finisher.

I can't put one over the other right now, it depends on the trajectory of their development.

Don't sleep on Umar Sadiq though, he is a baller.

Middlesbrough are in talks to buy Liverpool midfielder Sheyi Ojo.

The Sun says Liverpool are in talks with Middlesbrough over a shock £10million switch for young winger Ojo.

The Kop will sell Ojo, 21, for the right price and Boro are keen to land him as they look for someone to fill speedy Adama Traore's boots.

Boss Tony Pulis is keen on the pace of Ojo for his promotion hopefuls and he will have cash to outbid rivals Nottingham Forest and Reading.

Ojo had a poor campaign at Fulham on loan but Boro think he has the speed and ability to be able to replace Traore, thought to be heading for Wolves in an £18m move.

The Reds are ready to cash in on Ojo now.

Seyi played 22 games scored 4 goals for Fulham and in between was injured and recovered. Playing on the left wing, is that poor for a winger. I am not sure how many assists he had.

Poor season

So what has he been doing in Roma, etc all this year's eating Killiche.

Tega Abrahams and Sadiq are not on the same level by a huge margin.

What has Tammy been doing in Chelsea?

They are both 21 and Sadiq has had more caps for Roma.

Umar in my opinion will not survive in the Championship. He is tall but has no presence or physicality. The rate at which he falls over is very worrying.

I can't conclusively say he is faster than Tega. Technically Tega is far superior.

Tega has played near 100 professional games 31 + in the EPL.

In 2016/17 he was one of the top goal scorers in the Championship. With 23 goals. Thats not easy.

He wasn't prolific last season in a struggling Swansea scoring only 5 goals but he showed a lot of Promise and always looks dangerous.

That's what Tega has been doing.

This is not true. Umar is very physical and runs at defenses. Yes, he has balance issues but he wins fouls in dangerous places with his directness. He will trouble most defenses

Umar can also be very frustrating.

Either way, lets see how they develop, neither of them is the finished article.

Tega had several poor games last season. He did not show that he is a premier league quality striker yet.

Maybe neither of them are, yet.

Tega did very well in the championship though.

Why are we discussing Tammy here pls? He doesn't want to ever play for the SE

Kingsley Michael is enjoying this preseason with Bologna. I expect him to get some games this year.

Looks like Uzoho might be leaving Depor. Even after a good WC, Depor want to keep Uzoho in team B and have bought new keepers.

Francis Uzoho does not want to go back to team b so Depor are likely to sell. Release clause is 10 million Euros.

Those were different people's opinion. Nothing set in stone. But the first post you grabbed was talking about poor coaching in the league something I have been complaining about.
Siasia, Okocha and even the great Amodu have complained about the same thing. I remember Okocha saying our football was overrated and not better than South Africa and a few other countries.

Tammy is not quicker than Umar.. You have not watched Umar recently.
If I were to choose one to latch on to a through pass from say Ozil/De Bruyne, I'd pick Tammy

Our league is not better than Sudan or Mali.

In fact, our league players are not better than street players in terms of quality. Poor coaching means there is not much improvement.

Hmmm, putting Umar and Tammy in the same bracket is really not fair. Let us not overhype Umar. He really has a long way to go.
However he really does possess some pace but his coordination is really below par.

They are in the same box to be honest. Young prospects trying to make headway.

Umar is an awkward player, very difficult to handle. I doubt, he will ever be coordinated.

Orji Uzor Kalu gave Enyimba unbelievable support and they had good players. It was the combination of both that made Enyimba successful.

The best players in the league were gathered in one place.

If i was him, i will leave now. He needs a higher level of competition.

Former Nigeria U17 and 20 midfielder Kingsley Michael will later today travel with the rest of the first team players at Italian Serie A side Bologna for a training tour of Austria, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.

Michael has been a revelation with the first team of the Serie A side in pre season with his commanding display in the games they have played so far ahead of the start of the new season in Italy.

Already he has been handed a first team squad number, the jersey number 14 which is an upgrade on the youth team number he used upon his transfer to the club last year.

He will be hoping to get some game time when they take on Nuremburg and Huddersfield in their final two pre season games at their training camp in Austria. They are expected to arrive Austria later today.

His rise to the first team has been termed as phenomenal considering he only joined the team a year ago as an 18 year old from Nigeria with no experience of professional football although he did play a starring role for Nigeria at the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship, which they won.

A step up to the U20s didn’t produce same result like at U17 level as he was a part of the coach Emmanuel Amuneke led side that failed to progress to the last edition of the African Youth Championship.

The problem with the league is that there are too many factors that are against it that it can't control. Factors like referees, corruption, change of ownership, vultures in the form of agents, Giwa vs Pinnick, etc. Someone like Siasia should be coaching in the league instead of running his mouth. Enyimba is looking for a new coach and I am sure he won't apply.

Off my head I don't believe he has played near 100 pro games. He had one season in the championship and another at Swansea, that added to the scraps he played at Chelsea cannot be near 100.

And why not?

The league does not offer opportunities for improvement. A good street player does not get significantly better by playing in the NPFL.

The point is not different from what i have made before. Poor coaching does not help players .

Several players are signed to Europe straight from the grassroots. In fact, in recent times, the academies are selling players to bigger clubs.

I have saying the same thing for ages.. You even accused me of hating Nigerian local players. There is no aspect of the Nigerian league, i have not talked about. Infact, I talked about coaching deficiencies during the last champions league campaign. It was one of the things, i harped upon.

You are the one just catching on.

No you haven't. You always blamed the performance on the players quality. This time you shifted your post to where mine is.
