Ellen Johnson Sirleaf road, Owerri.........

All these mushroom churches are already defacing the structure with their cheap posters.

I think DSS should copy the address of that church and go arrest the pastors of the church until they pay for the cleaning of the structure to its pristine state. Next time, they won't ask their people to paste on public structures like that.

Nnamdijonathan hope you can now see that one shouldn't rely on the dirty pics being posted by an obviously envy individual to judge a city like Aba?

Aba is moving forward big time.

Search for "inside Abia" on YouTube. The video was filmed just 4days ago.

Abia people are not interested in development. They are all over the cyberspace doing propaganda and living in denial while their state is in ruins.

That video is very bad. I knew it that spyder only covered the good parts of the state. I was waiting to see mainly pictures of Ariaria and New Market in Aba but there was no picture of those places. Abia government is the worst in Nigeria based on the underperformance of the governor and his stupid tax policy of stealing from public transport drivers in the name of tax collection. Abia people are on their own. How on earth can a state produce three useless leaders 3 times in a row? Even other states that were suffering from underdevelopment have started getting it right, most especially Kebbi, Ebonyi, Yobe and Nassarawa but as for Abia, all their leaders are just the same visionless set of people. This video just showed how poor Abia state roads are in Arochukwu, Aba north and south, Ukwa, Osisioma etc, only God knows whether attention has been paid to the health and education sectors of the state. When one sees how bad the roads are, he/she will think that there is a thriving seaport in the state that serving the entire country and maybe it was as a result of heavy trucks plying the roads every minute. I just pity Abia residents because no matter how you defend the useless government of Abia, you can't deny that those roads in the video are not in Abia.

I now agree and strongly hold the view that aba will never develop again in her lifetime.
Who will believe that in this critical time and a clarion call for hygiene and sanity to be injected into Abia politics that someone should have the temerity to be posting a diluted and a ninth class infrastructure.

Are abians this daft or has they really lost control of their brains or has their hippocampus region malformed to an extent that has blinded their sense of quality, reasoning and collective action.

No wonder it is rumoured and I now agree that the glory of God has departed from Abia state. They should all go back and ask God whether he is still with them.

I don't praise mediocre as Abia is beyond redemption through life and my condolences are with them for been blind to see that the state has lost its shine and chin.

Ikppeazu with his messiah complex is still worsening the situation and under developing abia.

May God look upon abia and smile upon them in his infinite mercy because if not abia state is gone and gone for good.

Thats one of the roads that connects old owerri to new owerri district?. I am very worried about the longevity of that road due to its sloppiness and high risk of flooding. I wish they built a bridge to bypass that valley instead.

Asking Rochas to get a qualified contractor and do a durable job is asking for too much! The way it is now (even if the road runs the risk of being washed away by flooding two years after construction), he can point to this as one of his delivered projects to Ndi-Imo.

Not using qualified contractors to build durable and long-lasting projects is one of the problems i have with Rochas.

Re: . by NonsoWow: 8:49am On Sep 07, 2018
Of a truth, Aba is a horrible sight to behold. You need to visit that town to get the full picture of its backwardness, desolation and rot. Spyder is just posting pictures of the very few surviving roads in town from the Sam Mbakwe era. Aba stinks! The degradation in that town will take much more than propaganda from the useless ikpeazu and his paid praise-singers to fix. As at today, Aba is only fit for animal habitation. We only wish this will change in the future, so that the shame that Aba is bringing upon the Igbo race can be wiped away. You only need to drive around with a first time visitor to Aba to hear the humiliating but genuinely truthful words about that decayed mess of a town.

The issue of Rochas is a very painful mistake that needs to be corrected.

Am happy to note that APGA is taking over Imo state next year.

I dare say that it is high time APGA take over all Igbo states from enugu to abia to ebonyi and Imo.

There need to be a homogeneity and unanimity among these Igbo state so that we can speak one voice and we can criticise them if they fail.....

The long term health of igbos need that we pull in Same direction and one of such is APGA taking over these states.

which Abia is getting better?? the obvious fact still remains that there are more of bad roads in Abia state as a whole than the number of good roads here. take a trip to the popular Ariaria intl market... etc and many other prestigious places. the road are in a bad shape...

Abia state getting better today in terms of infrastructure more especially requires a good leader who has a core insight that Abia state esp Aba needs well structured infrastructure to enable the economy grow stronger.. forget propaganda Aba is a disgrace to some cities in the SE or SS in extension when being compared to them due to the bad shape of it's major roads and streets and the unruly attitudes of road side traders.

The most annoying part is his stupid tax policy. See how the pics posted by sypder looks like Ketu in Lagos, a partially developed town. Abeg all of you should continue with the pics of Enugu, Anambra, IMO and Ebonyi, make person see beta picture. I don't even know why I requested for Abia pictures in the first place, I should have just allowed the thread to go on with the remaining 4 progressive eastern states

APGA MINION try harder eh.... The question should be that have there been infrastructural improvement in abia? The answer is yes. The evidence is there for all to see.

Your anambra has more slums and decay than abia. Don't you ever think that anambra can speak for abia. We are above you guys.

We don't expect ikpwazu to transform Aba overnight, we only want to see and record significant improvement. At least 75% improvement. You are free to criticize him, but so that constructively.
