APGA MINION try harder eh.... The question should be that have there been infrastructural improvemenrs in abia? The answer is yes. The evidence is there for all to see.

Your anambra has more slums than and decay than abia. Don't you ever think that anambra can speak for abia. We are above you guys.

We don't expect ikpwazu to transform Aba overnight, we only want significant improvement. You are free to criticize him, but so that constructively.

the person you reply is not from anambra. We anambra people love Aba. Igboland is beautiful.

which Abia is getting better?? the obvious fact still remains that there are more of bad roads in Abia state as a whole than the number of good roads here. take a trip to the popular Ariaria intl market... etc and many other prestigious places. the road are in a bad shape...

Abia state getting better today in terms of infrastructure more especially requires a good leader who has a core insight that Abia state esp Aba needs well structured infrastructure to enable the economy grow stronger.. forget propaganda Aba is a disgrace to some cities in the SE or SS in extension when being compared to them due to the bad shape of it's major roads and streets and the unruly attitudes of road side traders.

Even the so-called residents of Aba are contributing to the underdevelopment of the city/town. There was a time the government wanted to relocate the Ariaria market and construct a new descent market but those dirty traders rejected the plan. You need to see how some Abians welcome Orji Uzor Kalu as if he is best thing that ever happened to them, the same Kalu that laid the foundation of Abia's backwardness. Do you also know that Abians voted for Theodore Orji, another useless ex governor, to represent Abia central in the senate after knowing fully well that he reinforced the foundation of backwardness laid by his predecessor. Abia is own its own.

When you are done ranting, you can then relax and sip otapiapia.

No city asides Enugu is better all round than Aba.

Yes I said so, quote me any day.

Our infrastructural deficit is surely something to work on which ikpeazu is trying to achieve. I hope his success continues the improvements ikpeaxu has already started in Aba.

Actually, Aba is much more decent than I thought. The street arrangements and all round orderliness is almost like any other highly ranked city. Commerce is the main stay of Aba. So much big business here in Aba.

The Aba pictures so far is a bit decent compared to what it used to be but not WOW. It seems that when we try to push our people to do better, we're seen as haters. If you think that what we have in Aba currently is anything to celebrate then you're either uneducated or an Igbo hater. Even Enugu with all it's possitive, i still lambast it from time to time hoping that we can aim for the sky.

how long does it took rochas to change the face of Owerri, if not perfect? ikpeazu is a confused man, he's going for the 2nd tenor, still Aba is decaying due to bad roads. the state and it'd leaders ain't progressive, that's it

nnamdijonathan:

continue deceiving yourself with the pictures you downloaded from nairaland. It's just like posting pictures of Ijebu Ode main road and its flyover and then say that Ogun is developed when I know that most parts of the state are filled with 1914 structures and algae infested streets. If you people like, keep supporting nonsense leadership, Nnewi will come from nowhere and overtake Aba that is if it has not overtaken Aba already.

This is not an insult but a statement of fact.

NonsoWow:
Of a truth, Aba is a horrible sight to behold. You need to visit that town to get the full picture of its backwardness, desolation and rot. Spyder is just posting pictures of the very few surviving roads in town from the Sam Mbakwe era. Aba stinks! The degradation in that town will take much more than propaganda from the useless ikpeazu and his paid praise-singers to fix. As at today, Aba is only fit for animal habitation. We only wish this will change in the future, so that the shame that Aba is bringing upon the Igbo race can be wiped away. You only need to drive around with a first time visitor to Aba to hear the humiliating but genuinely truthful words about that decayed mess of a town.

Abia people are the problem of Aba, they are all living in denial. They are always ready to project people like Orji kalu, TA Orji and his boy Okezie. They hate development.

Honestly those people did us bad thing
Orji Uzor Kanu tried in Aba dont forget he inherited the govt from a long military regime. It was T. A Orji that messed everything up but he still did a little too. He was he one that dualised Aba-Owerri road to Osisioma junction.
