Seyi Law scene wasn't unnecessary at all unless you watch movies just for the sake of it.
Infact I will say that is one of the most meaningful scenes in the entire movie.

You were shown how unprofessional your country's custom officers operate and you didn't even notice it.

Go back and re-watch that scene.
You will get the message.

Wedding Party 2 is an okay movie. Not that bad and also not that good either.

Not as bad as some projected it to be but definitely below the original wedding party 1.

Some scenes in the movie were not necessary, like AY going to dubai and displaying his how un-funny he is as usual. Same with seyi law. Was just shouting like a lunatic and not funny at all.

Infact, there were too many shouting scenes. Must people shout before it is recognized as a nollywood movie? hian

Overall i rate it 5/10

There was no need to show how unprofessional the customer officers or any other para military office operate in the film. It was totally not needed.

If they wanted to do a documentary of how the customer officers operate then they can create one for it.

Well, i rarely watch Nigerian movies as most of them are just drama/romance. Its easy to predict the outcome of their movie.

Did you check the moniker you quoted?
Me want to be noticed?

Seems like you need a crash course in "Watching Movies 101".

You are saying that a scene showing how unprofessional officials is unnecessary, you even said they should have done a separate documentary for that.

Many Hollywood movies will show you scenes depicting their police officers taking bribes, using drugs and the likes so that people in authority can sit up and reform the system.

All movies are made with three objectives in mind.

1. Entertainment
2. STORYTELLING(by showing how unprofessional your people are)
3. Profit making

Don't thank me.

I know the moniker I quoted which i know very well as it was accused of scamming some people of their money in another thread some time ago, so yes i do know you very well.

Also, can you tell me how many top Hollywood movies show their custom officers collecting bribes or acting unprofessional?

As for the bolded, they will still achieve these objectives without showing the crappy scene.

I stick to my words, you know nothing.

What! You dont mean it! Only 300K?? That's unfair. How could DC pay that meagre amount to a lead role for a huge project like that? Why? Is it because she is not a seasoned actor? Haba now? Them fall my hand.

She's new, so it's nothing out of the ordinary. Her payday will definitely increase exponentially in her next solo appearance as Wonder Woman.

What happened to Monday 11/10
Though I caught some plotholes, don't know if they are worthy.
1. The siblings dug out out the fact that Monday transferred some huge amount of money to that witch of a woman without a her own signature. How is that possible in the American banking system without raising a flag. Is it possible?

2. When Thursday decided to disguise as Monday, how come she knew the exact EARINGS Monday was wearing on that particular day? This can be seen when they were both fighting. The coincidence was too much.

What do I know sef?

Wedding party 2 6.5/10 as per Nollywood standard.

Good story telling, and good acting.
It more of show of affluence.

Now, all the movies you listed has to with crime.

The wedding party is not a crime related movie. It is just drama/romance movie. So many scenes were not necessary

It Follows 5/10 as per categorising it as horror.
It didn't scare sh!t out of me. It seems horrors of nowadays aren't that scary. I watch horror between 12am and 6 am.
I need a horror movie that will deprive me of sleep for a week.

Does it really matter what genre it was? The bone of contention is the fact that you were of an opinion that movies are not mediums that should be used by people to criticize officers of the law.

Your earlier assertions was that scenes depicting officers being corrupt is unnecessary in ALL movies, and should have a separate documentary for that, no?

Now, you're trying to backtrack and spin it around. Okay oo. lipsrsealed

Can you show me the post where I made these assertions from the bolded?

I simply stated that AY and sheyi law acting and shouting was not necessary in the movie "The wedding Party2"

When he claimed that sheyi law scene was necessary for story telling(by showing how unprofessional your people are) , I stated that hollywood movies dont do such. They rarely show their OWN airport officials as corrupt or unprofessional. You can see an airport but they rarely display the names of these airports.

Also, the over shouting and the unnecessary acting by sheyi law was not needed.

See my initial post again that lead to this;
