Another translation Victor Osimhen, double scorer and hero: "I will score a lot for Charleroi" Walfoot.be The replacement of Kaveh Rezaei? Do not look for him anymore: it's Victor Osimhen. Elected player of the month of September, the Nigerian celebrated his trophy with a double. It was thought that Adam Niane, quickly scorer, would be the substitute post for Kaveh Rezaei post and that Victor Osimhen and his 19 years were mostly a bet on the future. But while the Malian is confined for the moment to a role of hardworking and bottle opener, the Nigerian him, inquires the goals. "It's a very special moment, this double, it's the kind of moods and scenarios that I dreamed of living," said Osimhen at the end of the match. "I had only experienced this on TV so far, so we have to dedicate this victory to the carolo crowd who pushed us to the end," he continues. Until the end of the end, even: the third goal of the Zebras fell to ... 94th minute. "It's not over 'til it's over!" Smiles Osimhen. "Even if there are only a few minutes, a few seconds, we push and we believe in it, it's my job, it was important for us, for our confidence". "This double is a feeling even better than my first goal, yes," confesses finally the striker. "I'm not the type of attacker who only thinks about goals, I do my job and if I have the opportunity to score, I do it, but of course, you have to be selfish to be scorer!" I have the feeling that I will score a lot of goals with Charleroi, I hope so, "concludes Victor Osimhen. |

I saw Eze in action last night and i'm afraid those clamouring for him to be capped have got a point. If that lad continues to develop for another year the way he has done in the last season, we will be in another tussle with the English FA and we will lose him. I assure you on this outcome of it comes to a straightforward decision between England and Nigeria. 4 Likes |

tbaba1234: Saying the TRUTH with no attachments. the NFF should be looking at players before they get in the radar of the English FA. We should be able to recognise quality before they do. That's what quality scouting is all about. Eze is now on the radar of multiple EPL clubs and now the English FA. I had said ages ago maybe a year ago that Ovie and Seyi were ready to answer the call for Nigeria. 1 Like |

Icon4s: In the context of Africa yes. But this is a trend across Europe most top team have U21 players who are experienced professionals with 2/3 years of continuous play in the professional league. This is opposed to past times when these U21 teams would be dominated by youth academy players. That's no longer the case anymore. Indeed any serious U21 team will be dominated by young players who are playing first team football REGULARLY. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Humility017: But the German league is actually a good place if not better than the EPL for building young players... Look at Jadon Sancho and Reiss Nelson two young English boys doing well in the German league. Lookman also had a good season in Germany. Nothing wrong in Rohr preferring German based players. 1 Like 1 Share |

So of all the teams in the world na Uganda we fit get?. I watched their recent games and I can tell you those guys are huge and overly rough and physical. We should expect at least three or four of our players to get injured against those guys. Plus, we're playing in Asaba, the less said about that pitch, the better. Why put our players through all of these unnecessary risks? 1 Like |

Curtisaxel7: We are preparing for the afcon na.. It's better the players get exposed to the physicality of our potential afcon opponents now rather than wait till the tournament is near. You don't expect us to play European oppositions,do u!? As for the Asaba pitch, its not really that bad. A good trimming will make it right. 1 Like |

ChrisKels: Francis Uzoho, Maduka Okoye, Henry Onyekuru, Samuel Kalu, Samuel Chukwueze, Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Stephen Odey, Orji Okonkwo, Kingsley Michael, Kelechi Nwakali, Musa Yahaya, Sincere Seth, Chidozie Awaziem, Ebube Duru, plus some of the Aigbogun's boys that will excel from the next U20: likes of Ukouwem Utin, Wasiu Alalade and a host of others. And of course some other players will emerge from now till next year. So, Komekn, these are some of our players who are U21 and they can well compete with some of the top U21 teams in Europe. If we can qualify with the SA game, I wish the NFF can let us prosecute the Seychelles game with this crop plus likes of Lookman, Eze , Ejaria and co if we can secure them before then. |

Icon4s: Hmmm not bad though I no see Centre backs there, bar Awaziem. Let me add Chima okoroji, Deji Behruether as options in the left back. Add Rio Aves' rave of the moment Kelechi John(wanted by Nantes) as one of the Centre backs. Also put Josh Maja in that probables' list from England. Add Hillary Gong of Vittesse. Add Bright Enobakhare on loan to Kilmanock from Nuno's Wolves, Add seyi Ojo and possibly Tomori (my best CB in the championship so far this season), Nnamdi Oforburh of Bournemouth, also add Aston Vila's U23 first choice goalkeeper Emmanuel Okokon Idem.
