Both oby and this guy seems to have orgasm calling Atiku's name.

They are playing opposition against a fellow opponent which I suspect might be a paid job by the incumbent.

Anyone calling Atiku a thief without championing the protest for his arrest and prosecution is a coward.

I stopped taking this clown serious since he went into competition with Buhari on who is more physically fit.. Shameful.

Even stands more clown to win a councilorship than this clown.

You make sense also like Sowore.

At these point Nigeria need Integrity the like of PMB.

That's the only president that people do not dare discuss how they can benefit from a deal, talk less of offering bribe.

Are you sure Atiku did not bribe Buhari? Where is his corruption cases?

Read well dear. He didn't say he will hand over NNPC to Universities. He said he will run it transparently. It is oil blocks he said could be handed over to universities instead of individuals. A good idea if the Ivory towers can make judicious use of that to lower cost of education drastically and reduce funding constraints. I have always opined that oil block in the hands of individuals is criminal conspiracy against Nigerians. They ought to be used to set up corporations that will generate employment opportunities.

They have never managed big corporations talkless of a nation
People like him want to use our country as experimental lab, no we don't want any more neophyte. We need experienced leaders who speak with facts and understand the issues not rabble rousers. In the first place from where did he come out from, no pedigree just out of the blues and he wants to be president of a whole Nigeria. He should go and gather experience first. He is a joker.

Have you missed other speeches where he gave clear ideas on preparing the economy for the future? He spoke of automation and the knowledge economy.

He was the first Nigerian politician who had anything approaching sensible economic policies.

No... Please don't misconstrue his statement. He meant that giving oil blocks to universities is even a better idea or suggestion than selling to criminal politicians.

He even went as far as saying that it's not part of his manifesto rather a saner way of running the country‘s assets without the inputs of criminal politicians.

This Sowore guy thinks running Nigeria is student union activism, he should take several steps back and chill. Simple question he cannot answer, rather he's thowing people under the bus. NNPC right from inception has been riddled with corruption and discrepancies. Put an Imam or Pope incharge, you'll still hear all these stories we're hearing today, so this best way forward is sell a percentage stake to foreign investors. Look at the case of Delta Steel Company, for decades was moribund after all the billions of dollars spent in reviving the place and not one steel was produced. Obasanjo sold it to Arcelor Mittal, within 3months Delta Steel Company started exporting steel before the sale was reversed. The truth is, we need foreigners to come in and run our federal parastatals because if we want to leave it to ourselves the same old era of waste and corruption will still persist.

Presidential campaign ahead of the 2019 elections has officially kicked off, and as expected, the verbal fireworks from the candidates have begun.

On Wednesday, the Presidential candidate of the Africa Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore was a guest of Bounce News’ #60Minutes, where he entertained questions from viewers on his campaign agenda.

One of the issues he spoke about is the proposed sale of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC by former vice president Atiku Abubakar who is the candidate of the PDP.

Sowore was asked what he planned to do with the corporation if elected since the current administration’s efforts at un-bundling it have yielded little results.

Here is what he said: “The person who unbundled NNPC probably didn’t even understand the meaning of unbundling. You cannot unbundle NNPC and then make yourself the minister of Petroleum Resources. And then he made the Chief of Staff the member of the board of NNPC.”

On the proposed sale of NNPC by Atiku, he said: “The man who wants to sell NNPC spent 8 years of his life as the vice president of Nigeria selling off whatever they could sell, but where did that take us?

“The NNPC that Atiku is planning to sell, he is not going to use the money from that sale on Nigerian people. In the first place, who is Atiku going to sell NNPC to? He is going to sell it to Atiku.

Read More: Unlike Atiku, Buhari Says Privatising NNPC Not His Government’s Priority

“Atiku bought a bunch of companies. He is one of a few Nigerians that cannot explain how he made his wealth and if he is already telling you that he wants to sell NNPC, you can understand that he is going to put Nigeria on Alibaba for sale.

“And that is why he is leading a charge; they are charging towards Nigeria right now, a bunch of criminals are waiting in the wings so that as soon as Atiku wins, they can’t wait to sell whatever they can find in this country to themselves and take over the country and all of you who are ‘Atikulating’ will find yourselves completely ‘Atikulooted’ by the time they are done. That is what they are used to doing.”

But what does he plan to do with the corporation if he is elected?

He said: “What we need to understand is that this entity belongs to the Nigerian people. Run the place transparently with very competent and honest Nigerians and make the wealth from there available to the Nigerian people.

“You know what I would prefer to do instead of giving oil blocks to politicians, I will give it to universities, so that whatever profit they make, they can invest in education.

“They can invest it as part of the university’s wealth to create more opportunity for young people to go to school. I am just giving that as an example, it is not part of our manifesto yet, but these are progressive and creative ways of investing in the future.”

sowore made so much noise without answering a simple question, how many of the refineries in the US or other developed countries are own by the government?, business in the developed countries we always make references to is control by the private sector, this is path Atiku want to drive Nigeria economy on,but sentiments n hate induced by propaganda will not let us see reasons, when dangote petrochemicals finally comes on stream then we will realize our folly, this was exactly how sentiments was used to prevent Awolowo from ruling this country despite his proven capacity, competence n achievements.

It is now official... SOWORE is working for the DULLARD!

But we Nigerians are not fools.
NNPC is the cash cow that every stealing government hides under to steal our oil money. If the corporation is thoroughly investigated today, people will be shocked at the massive corruption that is going on there. The subsidy scam alone that takes away about 2.4 billion Naira everyday which no government till date can completely stop is just one channel through which some people silently embezzle our money. A greater percentage of that 2.4 billion doesn't go into fuel subsidy according Sanusi.
NNPC is now a liability to the FG and it takes a honest person to decide on privatizing it. But morons and empty head zombies wont understand. If Atiku was interested in looting our money, he wouldn't dare mention the privatisation if NNPC. He would simply hide under there to loot.
His empty head political opponents can continue to use this to score cheap political points, but I think some of them will run away from this country because they won't be able to stand the shame when Atiku wins election next year... And some zombies will need to follow the dullard back to daura, or perhaps, follow the imposter back to Sudan.

retard,, why steal from an atm when you can just own the atm .. shows how gullible you are
before you talk, check history ..... all the govt parastatal atiku/pdp privatized which is efficient & independently operating today ... some of you will just be playing economic textbook voicenote which is an absolute contrast to nigeria politics .
No single company privatized from 99 till 015 can justify further needs for privatization in nigeria.
workers are retrenched ,services inadequately poor or fair @ high price ... what do we gain from IBEDC ,ntel stil struggling

So what you are saying now makes sense to u?
Was NNPC originally created to be used as an Avenue for looting? It served a good purpose till our thieving politician bastardised it. If it returns to status quo and serve the purpose for which it was created we won't hear or see all these nonsense. Take it or leave it the man has a point. What prevents them from investigating the said subsidy loot?. If honest people are involved in the day to day running of NNPC we would not have any reason to investigate anything...The real change we needight not be Sowore but it's definitely not Atiku or Buhari
See... There's no president that can sincerely fight corruption as long as he'll want a second term in office. The truth is that if you become the president today, those who were major players in your election victory will form a cabal that dictate certain things for you. Some of them will give you the names of people that you must use to form the NNPC and NDDC board. When these people start looting through the NNPC, you'll keep silent, because you'll need them again during your second term bid. This is why even buhari, the acclaimed 'Mr. Integrity' is unable to maintain sanity in the NNPC.
Don't be deceived, no politician in Nigeria is a saint. Corruption is in our blood, both the people in government and the citizens. The reason we are not moving forward as a country is not due to corruption. It is due to the incompetence and ineptitude of our leaders. Both buhari and Atiku are corrupt as you said. But the fact that everyone is corrupt doesn't mean we should stop having leaders. We still have to vote for those we think can provide solutions to some of our challenges as a nation. As far as this is concerned, you and I know that buhari is completely clueless as regards the challenges that faces us today. It's time we try another person. Atiku may not be the best, but based on the reason I gave above, he is my choice.
Make your own choice... Don't sit on the fence because everyone is bad.
"When good people refuse to vote in election because the contestant are bad, they end up being ruled continously by mediocres".

I have watched many of his videos before I came to the conclusion that he is just set to attack any opponent with his toxic comments. He looks pained as if Nigeria has done something wrong to him.

The other time I watched him in some t.v. discussion with prof Kingsley Moghalu while the prof reeled out detailed actionable plan of his vision for Nigeria your Sowore agreed that the the prof's vision are in tandem with whatever manifesto he has which he could not read out.

Instead as usual he attacked the prof for saying that the minimum wage issue needs to be researched thoroughly before one can give a categorical answer as to what it should be.

This Sowore man meanwhile was playing to the gallery that it would be 100 thousand. That sounds childish and baseless. It is empty and unfounded promises like this that has landed us where we are. Intelligent and experienced people know it that running a government involves several decision making bodies.

If it were that easy for Bubu he would have bypassed the Senate and do as he likes just as he did as a military dictator.

Someone needs to school that man on how to be president. Attack the issues not persons.

This guy is a fool and bloody noise maker.

I thought he was intelligent and could have only done some background check to see the level of corruption in NNPC.

The corruption is too much that a sitting government will only have to kill the culprits to STOP it otherwise the best option is to sell it to an Oil firm and retain a small percentage of it. Govt has no business running a complicated agency like that!
