He's obviously a confusionist. He's trying to be clever by flying a kite. He talks about the Constitution as if it was religiously observed, was the six geo zones he mentioned in the Constitution? A political arrangement to foister unity among the components that made up Nigeria was fashioned by the leaders to promote sense of belonging and some selfish nit witts. Who in a saner clime should be in prison attoning his breach of public trust.

everyone knows dat its not compulsory and it's not written in d constitution....but what we had is a gentle man agreement dat power must rotate between the two regions.....if they don't stick with it,then they will create a precedent that no one knows d outcome
just as it is also a gentle man agreement in the south that the SW has produced a president, the SS has produced a president and that it is the time of the SE to produce a president then anything outside that amount to cheating which will play in the hands of the northerners. think about it

You know the Igbo man succeeds in business through foresight.

We saw this on the run on to 2015 elections but Tinubu and southwesterners called us wailers.

Buhari that would have remained a serial contestant until age catches up with him, was handed the presidency on a platter to perpetrate his ethnic and religious agenda.

Believe when I tell you that Tinubu will regret working for Buhari.

Honestly, if this is the plan, there is nothing we can do to stop it.

A united south would have kept these people in check, but alas, we are not united.

Everybody trying to play smart when they are not smart at all.

Azikiwe managed to keep these guys in check. We have failed to learn how he did it.

they don't know and that is why the North is desparately searching for oil. Whether they find it or not, it can never match what we have in the South. They should depend on their solid minerals.

the two major parties should present a candidate from SE anything other than that will make power remain in the north. as it is the turn of the South so also is the turn of the SE cus every other region in the south have produced a president but if tinubu and his cohort thinks otherwise then let north rule forever

It is the battle of south west alone. South east and south south are PDP and will only support whoever our party chooses basically from the north to unseat APC

If they retain power in the North in 2023, I'm sure the next census will reflect a South with almost the population of the North because we will count our goats and chickens too, the way they count cows and rago in the North. Then elections will become serious rigging war since we also have the population to match the North. Eight-yr-oolds will also be eligible to vote here and we'll import Togolese and the rest, the way they rent the Chadians up North...no region has monopoly of leadership by manipulation!

lolssss and who will superintend over the census? maybe tinubu lolssss

Yakassai first said it, you guys shouted IPOB.

Bashir Lawal, Buhari's PA said the same thing and you guys shouted IPOB.

Shettima, President ACF, said it again and you guys shouted IPOB.

Now, Babachir, former SGF and Coordinator, Buhari's campaign in NE just the same thing.

No president ticket is coming to the South, North is retaining it.

If they want to tear pdp apart they should chose their presidential candidate from north. Both south east and south south should support apc since the party agreed to chose their presidential candidate from southwest .
Why should the southeast and south south support a southwest candidate?? Why couldn't APC zone their presidential ticket to southeast or south south? Why must it be south west

This is why it is good for politicians to always review their actions because political power is never permanent! When some people were fighting Jonathan in 2015 and accusing him of all whatnot because they wanted to gain power by all means, they didn't think about the future. I wonder how southwest plan to convince us to vote for one south in 2023. Even if we are fools!! I'm just watching in 3D.

Gentleman agreement can only come in when u have one major party playing acting like a one party state but right now with 2 major parties both will be looking at how to be at the driving seat and sadly the north have the numbers... So it changes the dynamics
Gentle man agreement would have been binding if we had southern unity.

Any party that does not field a southerner would be joking with its political future in the south and none of them would dare.

But since the south is not united, they find it safer to go with a northerner, then look for any southern regional ally like buhari did.
