If pulp action is your thing, this list should improve your day:

- Brawl in Cell Block 99
- Shot Caller
- Dragged Across Concrete
- 11:14
- Blue Ruin
- Green Room
- Free Fire
- Wind River

The Brawl in Cell Block 99, is it the same one that starred Vince Vaughn ?….cause I've really had that movie for donkey year's now without seeing it. The truth is that the cinematography of the movie really puts me off.

I may check this out. I have been sceptical about it because it is a Malayalam movie and not Bollywood that I have come to love over a period of time.
for an IMDB rating of 7.6, you shouldn't be disappointed.

If OTT pulp action sequence is your thing, you will eat it up, and will want more, trust me. It's John Wick level of brutal. Just when you think you've seen enough, the stakes are raised even higher. Vince Vaughn was menacing AF in it. You'd have a hard time believing it's the same actor in The Wedding Crashers.

At the bolded, YOU DON'T SAY!.. Anyways, muchas gracias for the review & heads up, at least i can now reduce my expectations.

Don't take my review as the gospel truth, bro. It's completely subjective.

Wow!

So Hobbs and Shaw made over 600 million dollars worldwide.

One would think that the film would flop with its U.S BO tally.

Thanks to other region, the film made 689 million dollars total.

That's like 89 million dollars profit for Universal using the *3 multiplier.

Let me sit back and expect a sequel.

Anyone here seen Life is Beautiful.

Want to know what's so special about Robert Benigni's performance that they had to award him the Oscar for best actor.

Norton might be difficult to work with, but his role is American History X is deserving of that silverware.

That "Curbstomping" scene though: had to quickly fast forward.

I was telling a fellow here that Hobbs and Shaw was gonna win big in BO sales, and he was saying it wasn't going to ward off Disney's upcoming Movies later this year.

It's definitely gonna Surpass $700mn. The Parent Franchise: Fast and Furious had always benefited from international sales versus North American figures. China especially always helps it's figures.

It's a huge win for Universal. Probably gonna end up it's biggest offering of the year.

IT chapter two. 5.5/10

Koicereloaded, f4ck you
Nigerian cinemas, f4ck you

First of all, this movie is 11 minutes short of 3hrs. This movie is almost 3 hours long!

Part one was overrated and so is this part two.

Koicereloaded, f4ck you for selling me the hype. The producers ran out of ideas and bloated the movie. The third act was just pennywise jumpscares that were ineffective against the characters.

There are no rules to the clown's power. This really irritated me since part one.

And why are we Nigerians so foolish and block headed in our reasoning? Why do Nigerian cinemas believe that people only watch horror movies in the evening/night the three cinemas closest to me all had 6pm and 9pm showings. Fvck Nigerian cinemas.

I'm too angry to say more.

X-Men-Dark Phoenix.. 3/10
Genre: Sci-fi ,Action
.

Why does the new xmen movies of recent lack continuity & are always disjointed.
SPOILER ALERT!!!!!
Seriously, Eric the power hungry Magnito turning down a weapon/asset as powerful as Jean..Hmmm.
Raven dead...are they kidding me, i thought Raven walked out from Charles & the Xmen in Xmen first class.
Jean was 9 when Charles took her in, she's probably 17 or 18 in this movie. So that makes it 8/9 years, so Charles, Hank & Eric excluding Raven never aged a single bit from Xmen first class till now, that's like 30years + in the Xmen universe. Are the writers now saying these 3 individuals now share Wolverine's ageless ability.
The moral compass of the Xmen, Hank, joining forces with Eric to go kill jean....... like seriously.
And for Cyclops, let me not even get started with him. Though it's not strictly synonymous with this particular flick. Dude would blast someone with his Laser & the person instead of being split in two or dismembered would just be knocked out cold, isn't that laughable. All thanks to PG-13.
As regards the Villains, this has to be the worst set of villains i've seen so far in a Superhero flick. They seemed confused of what they really wanted. This is were the writer's ought to have borrowed a thing or two from the animated series Wolverine & the Xmen , The Hell fire Club IMO, should have been a worthy adversary.
All in all, this flick was much more like a drama, a poorly written one at that.
... get Your facts right.. x men were actually going to stop Hank and Eric from killing jean.. although Raven death was a shocker for me.. she wasn't suppose to..

I'll give it a 5/10.

I just watched the hunger games, I was surprised Raven was the lead female actress on there.

Well, fuck_ you too. Your crushing disappointment is on you, since you saw it of your own volition. Besides, a 2D viewing (a format movie theaters in Nigeria mostly offer) doesn't and won't do it justice. It's a visual spectacle if nothing else. You ought to give yourself a knock on the head for foolishly expecting a goose to lay a golden egg.

And why would I watch a horror movie in 3d? So that I can be shown more gore in more detail?

And for your information, we have 3d and IMAX in Nigeria.

But nigga, you sold me the hype. I swear, if not for nostalgia and the love for Stephen king, people would hate thos movie.

Next time I'm in the USA, expect a thorough beating from me. Think of Thanos and hulk. cool
