I’m telling you bros, it’s like traveling from Eket in A’Ibom to Garrison in Ph.

Just imagine say na dia ur former madam dey live even @calabardick won’t give you the help he gave u that day. So brother choose wisely don’t give in to pressure and the.ln make a wrong decision just like wat happened to me if u read my story you’d noticed everything boiled some to impatience else I would have gotten a partner close by instead of that far and that has now made me jobless without a car even at this period of the festive. My account is just there idle.

But in all I believe all things workout for good because I love God.

So be patient my guy better one around ur area go come soon and it will be the exalt thing you’d always wanted just like I’ve have now.

You seems to know my state very well, are from there?

As for the distance, towing him from Jakande to Ago would've destroyed my transmission, I wouldn't even dared.

Rubbiish:

This is a sad experience
I think 32k fine was too much na
@bold u should have canceled & left.
Drivers should learn to follow their instinct, u must not carry every rider. Once a situation turns out to be threatening & the rider is not cooperating with u, it is best u leave. So u don't end up paying 20k fine for 500 naira trip.
Yes o u’r very correct.
That was how I got a request (bolt) just after dropping off a couple at d In’tl A’Port. She was at d non stop arrival waiting lot, her destination was Allen,Ikeja, I was like, ha! All these short trips self. I hate short trips. so I’d to drive down 2 meet her. Since my map told me I’d arrived I immediately swap on my app 2 arrive just 4her to know I’m close by.
D lady jus called me started shouting speaking d white man English more than d white man him self “why did you arrive when you’re haven’t got here?” She jus banged d phone n d next tin I saw was “rider cancel”. Ha! Local man jus tire.

I started going, just after about 500m away from her her request entered again so I’d to go turn around again and just as I was abt 50meters from her I arrive again on my map. My Nigeria oyinbo did same tin on d phone. Na him I change am.
Me too come phytone my voice o boy u need to hear me, hey, ma’am I’d to arrive to notify u men, but if you aren’t ok with that please cancel. This time I was even at the top of my voice.
She just immediately cancelled.

And almost immediately another request came in with even a surge.
From my map “you’ve arrived.” A young guy immediately approached me, I presume one of those airport protocols.
“Are you the one to pick up the white guy?” I quickly looked at my phone I saw “Wang”.
Me: Yes please.
I looked that lady was just standing next to the Chinese guy.
The A”port guy: “Ok please just open your butt. The guy put his luggage and the Chinese guy just jumped in quickly.
Wang: do you have some change with you? His English wasn’t too good.
Me: yes
Wang: ok give to him
I handed over the 5h to the guy. That was how we zoomed off.

The woman just stand there looking at me sheepishly.
Wang was going to the island, we had wonderful convo. Trip ended on 3600 d guy gave me 4K and asked me to keep d change. Na so I just set destination home. Baba done close for the day.

So each time I suspect problematic rider I simply cancel

For the first time I took Ocar today from d airport
Tried bolt 1800 - 2200 14mins away ,

Just peeped at Ocar and saw

I come dey wonder.

Seems Opay adds something extra to drivers, as a recruitment strategy, but can't see how that will help them in the long run, competition wise.

Uber are the only guys that have it apart all figured out; robust and responsive app, driver-passenger grin consideration, etc.

But the way they are losing money is something else and is not sustainable in the long run.

What do I even know

Good evening family. I really need your advice on venture I'm about to undertake. I have in my possession a 2005 KIA RIO manual transmission. Just to hustle and keep body and soul together rather than beg for food, I was wondering if I could put it into any of the e-hailing services, and would like to know which of them would accept a car like that. Your comments are highly appreciated. Thank you.

You guys talk about Ocar as if Ocar is up on its feet. How many drivers are still using Ocar since they ended they bonuses? Even after reintroducing the bonus but at a lower rate drivers are still complaining of the app malfunctioning, draining there b3, toll fee issue, abnormal deductions and many more. One thing is sure lot of drivers have boycotted Ocar also with riders due to the frustration of not being able to get a driver after many try to get a driver for a ride

Hahaha. Felicity you don kill me with laugh for here. Hahaha Chai. Okay now.

Whatever fee BAZ001 saw was not what the driver saw on his phone. Dont be surprised driver was credited above 2000 after the ride while BAZ001 Paid 1390.

So its a win with the driver and the rider for now. Drivers still meet up with target even better as the savings culture and transfer issues was well integrated.

There it goes again, 32,800 naira fined paid to the airport suckers. Guys, make sure you learn the airport rules b4 going there, they seems to have endless rules to keep milking drivers, glaringly, they don't want uber or bolt in that vicinity, cos it's spoiling business for the local drivers assigned there. Was there to pick up a bossy driver, got to a spot where every car is parked line up,slow moving,so no space to move ahead faster, spot the rider with a grown up son (15/16 yrs), told her the boot is open, put ur ' just' two luggage in there, she said, oga pls come down and do ur work, was like OK,let me quickly help out since the mother n son considered themselves handicap, immediately I step out , my tyre was clamped. What was my offence,? part of my car was on the zebra cross line, bossy rider begged with me for like 5 mint, having realized it was her fault. Next is oga I'm tired, handed me 2k, pls sort your self then disappeared with her son, left to clean the shit alone, begged, pleaded, all fell on deaf ears, they make jest of me,saying the begging department is closed, young guys not up to my age, gosh,I've seen shit in this my adventures driving. They say, I will pay 2500 naira each day my car sleep there, n my tyres will be deflated in few minutes if I don't pay on time, additional 1k to be paid if tyres get deflated, angrily pay then left shattered. I'm just in this job barely 3 weeks so don't know much abt the airport rules to outlines here, but the gurus in this line should help list the possible airport rules for the newbies so not to fall victims, cos I saw two more drivers fell victims b4 I left there that night. God bless u all. Be careful of riders that ask you to go extra miles to please them, when the burble burst, they will only tell u bye bye, clean ur shit up.

I thought they said when you wipe the asses of your riders you will be awarded contracts to supply Sand to fill up Elegushi beach?

Truth sha... One thing say make I laugh this ordeal but sorry. Next time no even pick for airport. It has been reported here more than 20 times. If you don't know your way forget airport.

Profit is just one of the index of measuring a business performance, their business was more of equity than debt .
Uber is nearing profit. I read they recorded loss of $0.79b last year which was better off when they started . Its only a matter of time before they break even, which might happen next year or two with their new innovations (Uber eat, Uber boat etc and mapping out more cities across the world )
Facebook is a good case study, they declared profit for the first time after 5 years.
Investors are not worried as long as the business is growing and the balance sheet is healthy, no banks running after them to service loans because they have huge funds put into the business by their investors.

He is now jobless. If there's any available car that needs a rider, kindly link me with this contact -08026312336. Thanks in anticipation. We reside in LAGOS.

...and I accepted every request that came through and didn't reject any. These people have a way of making sure you don't get the money even when you complete the campaign. Never seen a platform as useless as this before. If you want to give someone money for hardwork, give them the money when they complete the work. Stop putting unnecessary conditions like hours online. What if I complete the trips before the stated hours? Completion rate: rider requests and cancels or the app cancels as usual and then I'm affected. I'm I supposed to stop the rider from cancelling their trips? A rider with 2.50* raining is still making orders and causing trouble but Taxify will block driver for having a 4.49* rating meanwhile their own app rating on Play Store is less than 4.0*. Think about it.
