aremso:Oga,, that's my opinion........but it seems more of deep pockets activities anyway. I'm not an insider and dont have insider info. we can only speculate what could be going on there. We witnessed similar thing in Ucap when awaiting result.............could be a way to shake people off and get at cheaper prices. This is NSE where moneybags can do and undo. |

Bros, you may need to crosscheck your data and facts on the spread. It may be going down in China but its picking up in multiple other countries, especially South Korea, Italy, Japan, Iran which is very worrisome. Several countries, especially in the Middle East, which did not have cases before now have also reported cases... I am not sounding any false alarm here. All the updates are on major news outlets online. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/02/cloneofchina-coronavirus-outbreak-latest-updates-200223232154013.html https://www.nytimes.com/2020/02/24/world/asia/china-coronavirus.html Everyone who knows or believes that the direction of this outbreak will affect the global economy which will affect Nigerian economy directly or indirectly (through its impact on oil prices and revenues), will love to stay abreast of the FACTS. I'm still invested in the market but I'm uneasy. onegentleguy: |

On the 2019 dividends, the newly passed finance bill says dividends should not be taxed as it will amount to double taxation since the company has already paid tax, if I'm not mistaken. My question: Will these dividends be taxed since they are for 2019 year end(before the implementation of the Finance Bill) or not(since they will be paid after the implementation date of the Finance Bill of 1st February, 2020)? Abeg, those in the know should help our ignorance... |

Think what is happening in the market now is beyond ordinary. Nothing to warrant the dumping. Some forces are at play. May God watch over His children and our investments. We will weather the storm by His grace. Talking about wrong timing for the predictions.... They'll move the prices up after their manipulations. One just need to be at alert with the current trend and trading in the market. 1 Like |

GTB can do 26 this week... Zenith can do below 18 this week.... Need to make some last purchase.... March & April are historically bullish... Even if it is a mini bull... We will grap it.... Sharperly.... |
